Crushes On Lit Users

My crush doesn't care for me any more, mainly because I asked about us not having much interaction on threads, games we both enjoyed, it wasn't happening because he was "shy" he said and also I was mistaken.
But he would be very open with others. Still is, and I feel really small.
I have no problem with guys or girls having multiple crushes, flirting is a given here also and adds to the fun; but to be tucked away in a PM box because I am "so special" didn't work for me, any thoughts?

That means, I want you to have this "crush" relationship with me, but I don't want anyone to see it because it might fuck up all the other pervs I'm working on.

I usually throw caution to the wind and just message them.

If they respond, excellent. If they do not, well, I may try again, but they usually make it pretty obvious whether they are interested.

And thankfully there are always new people logging in, old crushes returning, and people who one has yet to discover.

The women of Lit make me spin. :)

I think "crush" is such a dangerous word to use in here because it evokes raw unprotected emotion. We're here in an environment without the benefit of body language, nuance in language, voice inflection, tone of voice, etc. These things are essential in reading, communicating with, and relating to someone with whom you have a "crush."

We'll do what we do, and have our hearts broken, and go on day by day, I don't expect anyone to change how they go about it. But I think the key to enjoying the Lit experience is to look to have fun. Anything else is a crapshoot.

That is very well said.

* cheers *

* applauds* You couldn't have said that better
