Curiosity: What hobbies do you have?

Race Radio Controlled cars.... Yep every Friday night you can find my son and me at the local track with 70 or so others that race too.
Keeps him out of trouble and he's there with his school friends and I'm there if help is needed working on his truck.
I admit I really enjoy it as well this is something I have done for 15 years and he joined in as he got older.

I race battery inside during the winter and Nitro fuel outdoors in the summer.

For those that will say "Our toys” Yep they are and I have a nitro that will run 60 -65 miles an hour so yep I do enjoy my toys.

Thats what I do for fun.

Hobby?

Hmmmm training my horses, have 12 and breeding 6 mares this year.. making highline jewelry.. working, oops thats so I can support the hobbies.. so many things I enjoy, so little time

I collect pottery, candy dishes and depression glass...

I love to go to garage sales to see what I can find to put on ebay.

I read and try to write a little and I love to cook...;)

Fucking? Nobody mentions fucking? Goes without saying I guess but still....

If I have to get out of bed for something other than chocolate...:D

Right now my kids are my main hobby.

LOTS of others, given time. I write, paint (especially portraits -- just got a commission to do one for a school auction), on a daily basis -- singing at the top of my lungs in the car, gardening -- especially rare scented flowers (double parma violets, obscure antique rose varieties, poet's and maid of orleans jasmine, rose-scented geraniums, perfume mint -- you get the idea.)

Loved white water rafting the few times I've been. My husband drags me to play tennis fairly often. Last year I did a lot of weight lifting. Not fun but nice to have toned arms and be strong! I ski, though rarely.
LOVE a self-defense class called BAMM Impact. Did Tae Kwon Do for a while, was ready for green belt but hurt my foot on a jump and got afraid of the board breaking with said foot. Yoga and meditation from time to time.

Anything arty (but not cutesy craftsy.) Would do more antique-hunting if I could afford. Used to love to dance, have taken ballroom, want to take salsa.

Some hobbies are mental only. For instance extreme makeovers on my friends in my mind, preferably in historical gear. One would look great in 1920's cabaret style, another would make a great renaissance royal. I'd also like to do non-kitschy scenarios in snowglobes and got a kit. Something either parody-ish (crying clown holding a booze bottle, lieing in a snowdrift, while tiny beer cans swirl around when you shake it), or seriously dark. A gothic castle, the bats swirling, tiny gargoyles, the water reddish, perhaps.

Way more about me than you wanted, huh?
Hobbies, for real right now? I read a lot. Like someone else here, used to make a hobby of changing my haircolor.
Now it's social action -- from Mediator for the city, to PTA outreach, to housing, education, and now access to medical care. Last fall, my hobby was being campaign manager for my brother's idiosyncratic run for governor, along with over 100 other Don Quixotic citizens.

But mostly, these days, I'm in disguise as a soccer (swimming) mom, and spend my time driving kids to playdates.

i like to collect. i collect barbie dolls (the kind you DONT play with), bears, frogs.

i love sports...volleyball, hockey, baseball....

astronomy
astrology

ive been told i have some expensive hobbies...lol

Hobbies and Interests
My main hobbies are my horses and my dogs.
I hope to breed my mare again this year.
My animals are my children more then a hobby :D

In the wintertime I like to Ski and Dancing is one of my main Interests.
Reading a book, Literotica :) Gardening, Astrologic, Psychology and Esoteric.

There is more what I would like to do more frequently but time and money keeps it in check. And sometimes I have to work too :(

Oh I forgot I think I could put BDSM as a new hobby on the list :D
But Still try to get my head around it :)

Different arts consume most of my free time. I paint with oil colours, Russian aquarel colours (I find those both the best and the cheapest), acrylics and if I'm really bored, cheap nail polish. I draw in ink, aquarel pencils, charcoal, regular pens, do photography, render computer art and design houses for the computer game The Sims (yeah, I have some sort of dollhouse syndrome).

I collect shoes (my house must be invaded with them by the time I die), grow different kinds of medicinal (AND, let's say recreational) plants, write different kinds of fiction, read and purchase an abundant amount of books per year considering my income rate, collect and burn incenses (yes, I count this as a hobby since I take great pleasure in it) and collect different kinds of teas as well. Oh, and I eat chocolate. Too much, probably.

and now that you have your 100th post, you can share some of your artwork by posting some of it as an AV ;)

Making things, dosen't matter what. I do everything from webpages to floggers (my latest interest)
Unfortunately most of the time I only manage to make a mess :)

Skiing in the winter and paintball in the summer. (Not the kind where you run around in the woods, but the team competition type)

Most of my hobbies have been listed, and I'm too lazy to type them all out ;) but there are at least three that haven't been mentioned.

Home improvement: very much a hobby, believe it or not. If I don't have a project of some sort going, there's at least 3 in the works.

SCA

and fiber arts - spinning, weaving, and felting. Usually wool, but sometimes cotton, llama, camel, horsehair, poodle fur (from some friends of mine), soy silk, natural silk, yak hair... the list takes some room. I also dye some of them using plant and/or animal products. No chemical dyes.

someone mention collecting stuff? I collect kindersurprises, zebra stuff and oven- king crockery.

I'm a horsey-girl too...we have five right now, 3 AQHA and 2 APHA. We have my mom's finished out barrel racer, her prospect-in-training barrel racer, my ex-high school barrel racer who my little brother competes on, my western pleasure horse, and my yearling barrel prospect. Also, breeding my WP mare next year in hopes of a stud prospect.

I'm also a die hard RPGer...3rd ed D&D, Vampire, D20 modern...also big time into pc/console rpgs. I'm currently addicted to Final Fantasy XI.

I'm also a big fan of anime(hentai especially.) I read a lot too..mostly fantasy and horror. I love Tolkien, terry brooks, piers anthony, anne rice, stephen king, etc.

Here's a pic of my mare Sky (aka Missy Zippi)

Besides this... what hobbies do you partake in? I'm big on various arts of drawing, music, acting, dancing, anything somewhat creative.. "creative arts" i'll call them...

So if you have any hobbies... it'd be interesting to know...

train collections?
stamp collections?
drawing?
painting?
dancing?
lots of meditating?
etc....

and if you have pictures of anything you have or made that would be awesome. :D

I knit, crochet, sew, quilt, cook, bake...I also change my own oil, can pull an engine, change a clutch...I love having a project car :D

She's lovely :)

Hurrah for those of us with way too many of those darned hayburners.

I want to learn barrel racing.. haven't had time yet. I'm breaking my mare this year, and we've had our last foal for the year already. Not sure who we're breeding this year, if anyone, but not my girl since I'll be busy with her.

We do Western Pleasure, Trail, Halter, my guy does barrels and reining, and I'm the sole Englisher: Dressage, Hunter under Saddle, Hunter in Hand.

Edited: Took out the picture, but I'll see if I can't get it to work. :D

Ahhhh! There all cute. The little appy baby is a doll though.

Thank you :) I'm so proud of her.. she's going to be great in halter. She has a beautiful dishy head, courtesy of her mother.

We've got twelve horses.. eleven appys, and my A-rab. :D Somehow, when I took that picture, I managed to conceal nearly all the color. The two on the left side have hip blankets, the white mare is colored, of course, and the last mare. The chestnut is non-characteristic.. the only one on the farm with no color.

Apps are such good natured horses. We usually show with you Paint horse folk. :)

Would you believe I build bondage equipment for fun? Crosses, benches, suspension pieces, whatever I can think of. I've got a great set of tools, and we use the stuff at our little "bondage event" - If you're in Florida, come to "The Bash" in June, you can see most of it there!

Oh yeah, The Bash, I do that for fun too, 4 days and 3 nights of hanging around with 300-400 of my kinkiest friends! Running my ass ragged making sure everyone has a good time. I guess there's still a little masochist left in me afterall ;)

Writing, painting and learning are the main things which embody my time. Writing however, is less related to a hobby, more-so it is a passion. If I do not write; I am unsettled.

My hobbies are............

Photoshop...........Love to create My own art........

Music...........

Giving lectures while in session..........

Wargaming...

Read my story, `Wargaming`, to see how much fun that particular hobby can be!
I was also heavily in D&D when younger, I played a fighter called `Boris`!!!!

I don't know if this happened to anyone else, but not that I'm into my late 20's the hobbies died off some. Time constrains and pushed out some of them. Ok, the list -
Art - pencil, pen & ink, photoshop (retouching scans, coloring, making AV's, sig files, etc.)
Music
Working on my car
Surfing the net
Reading
Some writing

I don't concider this one a hobby - learning something new everyday - as it is more of a belief than anything.

I can't consider sex a hobby, more of a must in my life.

Hanging out with friends (irl), and chatting online with the other friends (cybercpace).

Well, does Lit count as a hobby? I sure spend a lot of time here... and it can be very relaxing;)

Today the site was down for some reason and I nearly freaked out...
