Curse of the Fallen Quest: Ring Bearer's Trilogy

Lord Vladamir Trepes

He stopped, turning to the phone. He ceased dialing and stared at it. No, he had to have heard wrong. That was impossible. Aria? Alive?

He looked to his cell and lay back, thinking. Should he tell him? Should he not? They said rescue. She could be dead already, right? This kept getting stranger and stranger...

Aria

Moving as fast as I could, I got into the car and stayed down. Heart hammering in my chest, it felt like it was going to come out. Bullets hailed everywhere, I was so shocked, I had no idea if I was injured or not?

"Thank you." He handed me his shirt and I quickly pulled it over myself, turning to look out the back window. I had a few cuts here and there but they were mending quickly, I wouldn't mention them to this person. Who was he?

"Someone is coming for me, we can't go too far..." I turned back around, sinking in the seat further. My mind playing over and over what happened. Idly twirling in the ring my mind kept hoping and praying Lance would return soon. I had unleashed hell and didn't know how to fix it, as usual I was fucking up more and more.

Eyes closed, I kept thinking over my choices and what it had done. Now Lance was dead again, Willow was but for how long? Knowing Mongrel anything was possible. He had the book, he needed a single page...... this was fucked up. Fubar'd badly...

"Who are you and who do you work for?" I asked, more so demanded answers. I could be in the hands of another psycho who works for mongrel for all I knew!

Ray

I smile at A.B as she comes out of the club saying that she would come. I nod my acknowledgment as I look back at the club waiting for Christian. Once he appears I lead the way back to my hotel. Moving fast threw the streets not looking back to see if there fallowing knowing that they would be back there my mind focest on the one thing find Aria and get her to safety.

I stop at the hotel a grim smile on my lips as I see Kat standing out side waiting for me. I walk up to her and kiss her on each eyelid. “Thank you sister.” I say simply my apology for ordering her around like I did.

I look over at the limo waiting for use debating on weather it would be faster to go on foot. I look at my watch frowning. “Ok the jet isn’t reedy so we can use the limo.” I sigh irritated that we’re not already in the air. I open the door for the others before fallowing them in. I look out of the windows as we move in to traffic.

I don’t say a word until we get to the air pore my mind focused on Aria. At the airport I hand the driver a special pass that allows him to drive us around back to where my privet jet is being prepared.

I get out of the car and walk quickly to the pilot talking to him softly though by his face he can fell my anger at the delays. I growl softly as I walk back to the others. “Ok they’ll be ready to go in another hour.” I smile slightly at the look Kat is giving me. She didn’t know I had this or apparently the money that I was throwing around.

I look at her a halfhearted smile on my lips. “I was always good with business.” I shrug slightly as if to say it wasn’t that big of a deal. I then turn and lead the way up to the stars and in to the lush jet.

“Make your selves comftable the flight will take at least eight hours if the winds are with use.” I feel my self growing teas as I hear the time for my self. I hope Aria will still be alive by then it’s already been two hours sins she called to me. I grit my teeth with wery as I idly play with the ring on my right hand twisting it over and over.

Joseph

Another half an hour. He sat in silence, his rage bound by his inability to do anything at the moment. But he was closing in. Soon now, very soon, they would be able to touch down. And then,....

His lips curled back in an evil grin. Skin was missing in a large triangular chunck over one of his fangs, and the gums around it still looked damaged. He turned his head, impatient.

This Mongrel had made a big mistake in killing his family and not making sure he, himself, was dead. He had lived a long time, and had skirted death more than a few times. And now he would become death. Death for Mongrel.

He grinned again. The grin of the damned prepared to welcome another soul to Hell.

Christian

As we boarded the plane, I looked around, realizing then that I hadn't just fallen in with a group of vampires who might want to advance themselves by stepping in on us, a group who'd managed to maintain several establishments locally, though none so successful as the club. The idea had been in my mind for some time, as now and again, a wanderer tries to take us for some of what we've built.
Not this time. This man was obviously in control of funds that might even be larger than what Isabelle and Darius had put away.
I settled into a seat, laying the cloth-wrapped weaponry on the floor in front of me. I smiled again at A.B., hoping the girl was feeling comfortable but doubting it.
I wondered where this would take us, then decided that wondering was foolish when my present company might provide an answer.
"So, where are we headed, and what do you think we'll find when we get there?"

A.B.

"Belgium. I heard him say it to the Flight person." She shifted a little in the seat, sitting across from Christian. Flying made her nervous, always had. If men were meant to fly, they'd have wings. It wasn't the height more than it was the idea of falling.
Her fingers gripped the arm rests, her body tense.
She tried to play it off as if it was nothing, give no indication about her feelings. She did not want to be laughed at, not now. Little to no sleep and heading who knew where for someone she had never met. This was maddening, and yet a clan did this for one another. So she had been told..
"You came prepared." She motioned with her eyes to the arsenol on the floor before him. "Think there might be some kind of battle waiting us?" She tried to keep her eyes on his, it might help calm her a little and she did not know Ray nor Cat that well. She hadn't seen the redhead yet, but she assumed Cat was somewhere on the jet with Ray. Where was he?
Pushing it from her mind, even though she needed something to dwell on, Christian would be good company for that.... She hoped.
Her stomach was queazy the second she seen the plane, not sitting in it, she was feeling worse. What a fucking pansy she has become! Her own mind chided her on this. She couldn't expect the world around her not to modernize because she found things unpleasant. Nor could she avoid everything that scared her. A ship brought her stateside awhile ago and it took weeks to cross. Now it was done in a matter of hours, she should love this freedom.
Sighing, she gave a lopsided smile and released the arm rests. "Can I help with cleaning? I uh,.. Need something to keep me busy."

The car sputtered to a stop, just as soon as it hit the main road. One sign pointed towards Belgium, just a few miles away, but he turned the car the other way around.
"I'm sorry, I know you have friends, but right now we need to get as far away as possible. You don't know what that guys like. He's dangerous... more than dangerous. If he knew where we were."
Keith shuttered against the thoughts of those eyes once more on him. Burning deep into him, trying to dig up ancient fears and memories that he had suppressed all these years.
"I'll kill you, don't you doubt that for a minute. You try to bite me, or anything, I'll kill you without a second thought."
He still had a gun in his hand, which he tapped more than once against the steering wheel.
"Silver... the good stuff. I know what I'm doing. You don't ask for, or demand shit. I'm in charge."
He repeated this several times to himself, nodding his head. He was in charge for the moment. He liked that, being in a car with a woman who could snap his neck without a moments notice, he liked being in charge.
"Who are you? What's your name, and why in the hell were you back there with that man?"

Aria

"Why would I bite you? You are a little high strung.." I muttered as I stared out the window. Fingers tapping against my lips as I thought, or tried to.

"Back there?" I shuddered a little, the fear still raw in my mind. "I was being held against my will... This guy wanted me dead.." All he needed to know for the moment. I was tempted to reach over and take the gun from the weakling human and toss it out the window, but it might come in handy later, so I left him alone. Once this car stopped I was gone anyway.

Through the fog in my head, I wondered momentarily what an Austraillian was doing in Belguim? Food, clothes and freedom in that order... I only prayed Lance came back soon. Ray might arrive but how could he find me? Hell, Ray was a better hope, at least I could contact him.. Lance I had no connection to.

Thoughts of death began to enter my mind, taking a stronger hold and festering. Nothing left to live for kept ringing in my ears. The words Lance had said to me.. Tears falling, I knew he was right. Tired, weak and basicly lost, the thought of death seemed to be the best solution to all of this mess.. At least this ring would go to someone stronger this time. I snorted out loud, courage? The ring of courage came to me? How pathetic.

"We'll be approaching the airfield in about ten minutes. We'll only have a few minutes before they get out here. Less, if they're ready for us. But I doubt they will be."

He stood up, turning his sightless gaze to the co-pilot, who returned to help guide the plane in. He felt his way to the door, using his sword to search the area ahead of him like a cane. He heard a sound, and put his sword away, reaching forward. His hand came to rest on the door, and his fingers felt along it, figuring out how to open the thing once they were on the ground.

Things were so much easier when one could see.

Keith didn't believe it. At least, he didn't believe all of it. She was being held, but that was only part of the story. He traced her all the way back to here, she had to be holding something else.
He would get it out of her.
"Unless you tell me the truth, I'm afraid I'll have to put you under arrest."
He reached back, taking out from the briefcase in the back a bunch of the old surveillance photos. A few of them, that showed her killing the officers with little regret, and then running off with their blood still fresh on her hands.
"My name is Keith Robertson, I am a detective for the Melbourne police division in Australia. You are charged with the killing of three police officers. Please tell me there's more to your story than just being held against your will..."
Petty threats. It was age old good cop, bad cop shit, and he didn't like it, especially dealing with vampires. She didn't have all the power though. He had the gun, he had the silver. He had at least something to use against her.

Aria

"You are out of your jurisdiction Keith." My head turned again and my eyes met his. He is smug and thinks he is invinceable, so be it. He would learn too as I did. No one is indistructible.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." I wanted to laugh and cry at the same time. If he thought he was actually scaring me, he best think again. Willow was scary, this guy is an infant in the threat department.

I opened a huge can of worms, failed miserably at stopping it so far, and all this to save human and vampires lives?! I needed my head examined.

Keith looked at the road, watching as the curves formed themselves against the landscape in almost harmonious intrusion. He reduces speed as they went around a corner, moving further into the hilly countryside. Fields upon fields laid themselves present for them. Far off he could see farmhouses, smoke billowing out of raise chimneys that looked as small as matchsticks.
"Two days ago, I didn't believe vampires exist. I didn't believe that if I followed a trail, it would lead me to you. I didn't believe that silver, something that's supposed to work on werewolves, is lethal for a vampire. Two days ago, I didn't believe anything I couldn't see."
He closed his eyes for a second, as if clearing himself from something long ago.
"I don't know what to believe, to be quite honest. There's nothing stopping me from killing you right now. Look at it from my point of view. I know for a fact you killed three police officers, decorated men who were trying to do their job. They had families, they had lovers. This one?"
Keith pointed to the one on top, "He would have poker nights once a week. I always lost money, but that didn't stop me from going. That didn't stop me one bit. I had fun, and it was something to do.
"You killed him. You killed all of them, for no apparent reason I can figure out, except they were in your way. Now, I come all the way over here, figure out not only are you a vampire, but see you coming out of that hellish place with blood all over you."
Keith stopped for a second, trying to make her understand.
"I have no reason to trust you, but I want to. I want you to make me understand, because I'm a cop. I'm a police officer, and I have a hunch. It's a risky hunch, but for the moment I'm taking it. I think we're on the same side, I think we're working towards the same goal, but if you don't give me any reason to trust you, I have to assume, for my own safety, you are nothing more than a cop killer, and need to pay for your crimes."
The gun, cocked and ready, still pointed at her, but his eyes, calm and clear, looked at her as well. He had stopped the car at the side of the road, both hate and understanding in her corner.

Aria

"I am no cop killer, thank you very much." I sat upright further, his threat of death not really scaring me any more. So be it, whatever, no love loss there.

"I found these two rings a few years ago at a pawn shop. It lead to this big quest and its fairly simple really. If mongrel isn't stopped, he will rule the world with god like powers and no one will be safe.. not vampires, not humans, nothing will be safe from his whims. He has the power now to give life or take it away and I dont mean in pointing a gun. I mean I lay dying and he gave me life by sure will power. Nothing more but what he wanted. He used me, I am not sure since it's all vague in my head still. The man I was with is the key to this book. If this spell book is not destroyed the earth is doomed. Believe it or not but it's the truth. There are five chosen warriors to bring the end of this book, I am but one of those five. Merlyn and his wizards never had an inkling what this kind of power could do bound to one book, but it is bad enough that I've lost my entire family protecting it. And at one point I lost my life as well. Lance was not to be taken, the man I saved? You remember him don't you? He can not be taken by Mongrel or all hope is lost for us. He knows the location of one simple little page.. And if mongrel gets that page, heals that book, as I said hell on earth, if there is an earth left. I am trying to stop him.. trying." I glanced out the window, my ring glowing. Ray was coming!

I held out my hand to Keith and showed him the ring glowing on my hand. "This is the ring of courage. There are four others. Sacrifice, widsom, cunning and strength.." I met his gaze steadily, waiting for him to laugh or shoot.

Keith let out a sharp huff of breath, one that he didn't know he was holding. It came out almost like a whistle through his teeth, chattering teeth that seemed to hold frustration at an arm's length.
"You should tell the truth more often," he said, unsure whether or not he was going to cry, but the tears already swelling, "It makes you look smarter."
He leaned back, poking through the briefcase once again. Apart from a few things, he found some more photos. As he picked them up, he dropped the gun.
It was useless now.
"Her name's Suzanne," Keith showed her a picture of a beautiful little girl, with golden curls and a big smile that showed a missing front tooth.
"She'll be eight in about a week. I always thought she was just a little angel. That smile? You see? She wears that smile all the time. A happy sweet girl. One look and you'd swear your heart melts."
He took out a picture of a much older woman, who had some of the same features as the little girl.
"Samantha, wife of Bert right there," He pointed to the surveillance photo she held in her hand, "She makes the most wonderful bean dip you have ever eaten in your life. Oh, it is like butter on your mouth. She's tough too. No matter how much of a shitty day Bert had, he still wiped his feet when he came in the house."
Keith gave a laugh, as a tear fell down his cheek.
"Can you imagine that? Big tough guy, going after killers and rapists and drug dealers, and the guy is scared shistless if he makes a mark on the floors. One of the funniest fucking things I've ever seen."
He leafed through a few more photos, each of them bringing a strange twinkle in his eye. A fond pass down memory lane, each one hurting him, and helping him, as he went on.
"I don't think you're a cop killer," He took out the photo of Suzanne, "But this little girl doesn't have a father anymore. Her dad will never see her grow up to be 8. I just hope she doesn't lose that smile, she has such a pretty smile. It brightens up the whole world, I promise you."
He took the pictures away, not wanting to see them anymore.
"Let's go. I have a little bed and breakfast room waiting. You can call whoever or get whatever you need."
Pulling the car into gear, he drove back onto the road.

Aria

Tears formed in my eyes reguardless of how I felt about all of this, I knew his pain well. Sitting still, I did lean close enough to see the pictures.

"Michael was just as sweet." The tears fell and I hurried to blink them away.

"That is why I will do anything to stop Mongrel, even if it means my death. And it quite possibly will be my death..." Clearing my throat, I dried off my cheeks and sat back. As soon as I knew the name of the place he was staying, I could let Ray know, no phone needed, but I wasn't going to tell him that. He might flip out again.

I didn't want to dwell on the issues of what might come, instead I would focus on stopping it. My eyes closed tightly, praying to whatever god that was listening to return Lance as soon as possible!

"Wait for me Ray, Don't go anywhere.. I will let you know where I am.."

Ray

As the rest get commutable in the back of the plain preparing for what may com. I move up to the cockpit putting on the head set. I talk to the tower finding out how long it will be before they are ready to let use take off. I growl softly as I hear him talk about delaze and prosigers.

As I watch them work I get another message from Aria telling me to stay put tell she can tell use where we’re going from the Belgium air port. I smile sadly and concentrate. “We won’t make it there for another Eight hours or so and that’s once we make it in to the air.” I sigh as I look at my watch watching the time tick by.

I get out of the set putting the head set on the seat just as the captain walks in. He looks at me slightly surprised to see me hear as I rarely bothered with such things. I look at him a grim look on my face. “I’m in a hery I was just trying to pull some strings to get use in the air faster.” I sigh as I let him take his set watching him go over the pre flight list with his copilot.

It takes nearly three hours before we are able to get up in to the air. Once we’re air born I turn and head back to the others. I sit in a soft deep cushioned chair across from A.B and Christian I sigh softly as I look out of the window looking at the clouds moving below use.

I look around then wondering where Kat went off to. I shrug slightly thinking she must be in the bathroom or maybe in the bedroom in the very back.

I look at Christian a sincere look on my face “Thank you for coming I aprisheat it.” I look at A.B a small smile on my lips “You to the more the better in this case.” I shrug looking back out the window a sad look falling over my face. “I was supposed to protect her she’s family family before all.” I say softly not realizing that I sad any thing. My left hand moves to the dark swords hilt gently stroking it feeling the coldness seeping in to me but now it’s under control not sweeping over me like it had down.

Keith thought for a moment, wondering who this Michael was. The look in her eye, and tear falling down her cheek answered his question though. Someone close, someone too close.
He drove the rest of the way in a murmured sort of silence. It had been a long day, for the both of them. This high intensity just added to all of it. He desperately wanted to get some sleep. All of the plane hopping had tired him out. He hadn't been to sleep since Wednesday.
What day was today?
He didn't know. The days and nights sort of blended together on a plane. A few days from Wednesday, was the best of his guess.
He stopped out at the little cottage. An old summer home for a couple who is now in Venice or something. Now, it was rented out for people who wanted a nice place to stay for a few days.
The only person that came around was a maid each day, other than that it was nice, quiet and secluded.
Not much to look at, but more than enough room.
"Here," he handed her directions on how to get here, ones that were given to him when he asked about the place, "The phone's over there, bathroom down the hall. Check the dressers for any extra clothing, I don't have anything, just the clothes I jumped on the plane with."
He smiled, looking down with reluctance at his naked torso, and the shirt she now wore from him.
Keith bit his lower lip, leaning against his bedroom door. He looked puzzled with thought, as if to say something, but getting up the nerve.
"I want to help you," He blurted out, "I want to stop this guy, as much as you. He has hurt a lot of my friends, and I know everything now. Silver and vampires. I can help you, especially with the police. Wipe away records and clear up incidents. People are still going to be looking for you in Australia..."
He gave a pity half smile, revealing just how tired he was, "I... I want to help."

Aria

Looking around, I nodded my head for no reason. Secluded and open for an attack if we weren't careful. They could find us anywhere, there wasn't many places safe from Mongrel's hand.
I took the paper he offered from him and looked towards the other doors. "Thank you." I would look for something to wear at least until I could get Ray to stop and buy something for me. Weapons too, badly needed right now. Keith looked worn out and ready to fall over, I on the other hand could not possibly sleep. Not with all Mongrel's creeps lurking around.
We were back at it again, hiding and waiting for a sneak attack. Sighing, I met his eyes. "You know you put your life in danger helping us, don't you?" I watched him for a reaction but he obviously knew this already.
"I need all the help I can get to take down Mongrel, you are more than welcomed to aid us, but you have to trust us and I have to trust you." I eyed him again. "If you can't trust us and we have to worry about you shooting us in the back, this won't work out. My family is coming, at least I hope they are, and they are all like me Keith." I took a few steps around the cabin, wondering where to find a safe spot? "They too are vampires. You are safe from them, don't worry. And I need your gun." I turned back to face him, the couch would be a good place for him to nap and I could sit in the corner chair, perfect view of the door and big window.
"You need sleep, and I need to sentry until help arrives. Can we work together without fear?" It was an honest question and one we both needed to get off our chests. He needed to trust me and I needed to trust him.

?I was supposed to protect her she?s family family before all.?
Family?
His words didn't seem intended to be heard, if he'd realized he'd spoken at all. And of all of them, that word held special meaning to me.
Family. But what did it mean when he said it? Was it symbolic, because of the rings? Or was it something more genuine? Did his sister and...well, whatever relative this Aria was...were they all blood relatives from birth, before or after thier "change," if indeed they had been changed?
My true family (my human family) was gone, and what I'd accepted as family since then was...well, becoming distant, though I guess it was me who was doing the distancing.
A.B. sat nearby, and I wondered if we'd gotten ourselves into something that was too deep for us to comprehend, something that we would never quite understand or really be able to help with given our existence as outsiders.
I glanced to the girl, concerned over what might happen to her.
"Might as well get some sleep," I stated, "We'll be in the air for a while, I'm sure."

A.B.

He was a little confusing to her, but she remained quiet as Ray talked of this family. Was Aria his wife or something? She was a little confused by all of this and again, said nothing.

She caught Christian's eyes and nodded her head, Sleep would be good right about now. Rising from the chair, she asked Ray where she could rest and was pointed towards the back. Moving towards the direction he pointed, she found two doors other than the bathroom.

Picking one, she opened it and peeked in. A closet really with a bed in there. No one else inside, so she stepped in and removed her cloak. Laying it over the bed, she crawled up and lay down. She was tired and a little worried over what she had gotten herself into?

Stretching out face down, she closed her eyes and tried to relax enough to sleep. Why did Ray sound so afraid? A guy his size? A vampire his size?! He had to be centuries old, his weapons appeared even older than himself, she was confused by all of it. This is why she stayed away from people! Now she couldn't sleep because she was thinking over some one else's problems and they became her problems.

She was getting in deeper and deeper. Irritated with herself, she crawled back off the bed and stood up. Perhaps she wouldn't sleep, maybe just pace and prowl like a caged animal. At least it would give her something to do besides worry!

Stepping back into the main cabin, she moved to a window and looked out. They were over the ocean, nothing to see really. She moved back to where Ray and Christian sat, both looked lost in thought. Bending down over the back of the chair, she peeked over Christian's shoulder at Ray.

"I can't rest with my mind going non-stop like it is. So... Tell me, if you will Ray, what is Aria to you? You say family? Is that Clan or real blood relations?" He had made her curious, she may as well ask questions since everyone else was silent.
"And protect her from what?" She wasn't sure she wanted to hear the answer to his question? She wondered if her leaning over Christian was annoying him? She glanced down at the top of his blonde head but didn't see his face well. She fixed her gaze back on Ray.

Ray

I start slightly as I hear A.B’s words I blink focusing on her as she leans over Christian. I sigh slightly as it think wondering what I should tell her. I shrug then looking in to her eyes. “We where once lovers until…” I look away “Until she fond another.”

I shrug “We are not blood family all of my blood are dead a very long time ago. Kat is my blood sister but not like are parents are the same we shard blood to save my life once and we have become like brother and sister in the mean time.” I blink the rest of the family is dead Mongrel killed them he is what I should have been protecting her from.”

I look back out the window gritting my teeth audibly as I look down at the ocean below. My hand tightening arund the hilt my nuckils turning white. I then look back up in to A.B’s eyes my eyes hard and cold. “I will make him reget messing with my famly he will dye slowly and very painfully.” I growl my town dark as th cold of the sword seems to radiate from me.

Keith got what he could from the car. It wasn't much, just what had been left over from the attack both Vlad and himself had been in. His own gun, and a few of the special other ones. He held them out to her like a prize she had won.
"Anything and everything. From what I've seen, Mongrel threatens more than any one vampire could ever destroy in his lifetime. I only ask one thing, we don't kill any more innocent lives. If I can help it, I want each and every father and mother to go home to their children. They deserve that much... hell, that's the reason we're fighting this way, isn't it?"
He gave her the weaponry, waving a half sort of saluted goodbye.
"I should wake up in a few hours, if not wake me when your friends get here, or if someone finds us. Goodnight."

Kat

finishing up I walk out of the back bedroom and listen tot he convo going on around me. I knew I had little choice by the way Ray was acting and I would never have let him go alone anyway. I sense his turmoil and walking up behind his chair I gently rake my nails down his neck, planting a light kiss at his jugular before sitting down and looking out the window. My eyes move gently over AB and Christian and I again wonder at the unlikely combination of them but only smile as their inquisitive eyes meet mine. Looking a bit more deeply at AB I smile and soften my voice slightly, "Is there something you wanted to ask me?" I fling my hair lightly over my shoulder. "You seem to have many questions, perhaps some about more personal matters?"

A.B.

Seeing the beauty return to the main cabin, she instantly feels out of place. Flushing furiously at Cat's little glance, she averts her eyes and fumbles for something to say.

She is not angry with Cat, not really jealous either, but she does feel she shouldn't insult people with her presence. Again the self loathing rears it's ugly head and makes her cringe with it.

"I ah.. perhaps later? I am feeling tired, I am sorry. Excuse me." Turning she hurries back to the room she was laying down in and crawls onto the bed. The pit in her stomach making her hate herself for being so cowardly at times. She can't compete with Cat, even though no one is asking her too, she still can not help but remember other's reactions to her.

With a little sleep, she would again be fine, perhaps her self esteem back in place firmly, or at least the attitude of not giving a fuck about it? She is torn in two. Cat's offer to heal her is so tempting, to be beautiful again, to be looked at as a woman and not a freak... but then again, after living so long like this, could she again adapt to attention given to her?

She was in a catch 22 situation.. Damned if she does, damned if she don't. She closed her eyes and tried to nap, she would appologize later for running out like that, she did not want Cat upset with her, she just needed some time to adjust and find her normal self she seemed to have lost since meeting up with these people.

Aria

Nodding as he walked off, I took the keys off the table to his car.

"I will kill no more innocents if it can be avoided Keith, I swear it." I proclaimed softly.

We would need supplies, ammunition mostly and of course somewhere to feed. I needed to scope out the area a little, find where everything was. Looking around the little cabin, I was also thinking about locking this thing up as tightly as possible, but then again it wouldn't stop the vampires, only delay them.

Heading into one of the rooms, I hunted until I found an old pair of sweats that had seen better days. Now to figure out how I was going to get what I needed? I had nothing with me when I came, this was going to be a real bitch. Sitting back on the couch, my mind working in overtime. How?

I knew Ray was awhile out still.. "shit." With no id, no passport, and no way into my account without either, I was basicly fucked. I had to wait for Ray to arrive. Laying down on the couch, I decided to nap a little while and then go to the airport. Trying to relax and open my mind up more, I hunted for some form of recognition, something to tell me when he would be here.

"Ok Ray.. I am safe for now.. Tell me when you get here.." I spoke aloud and mentally, more to myself than to anyone else. I had no idea if he could even hear me or not. Sleep was fainlly claiming me and so I went with it, even though every little sound was heard, I tried to rest.
