Curse of the Fallen Quest: Ring Bearer's Trilogy

Lord Vladamir Trepes (DP)

"Keith? No, no I don't need any help. As a matter of fact, that's why I called you. I have a few thing I need for you to pass along. Tell them Mongrel will win if they don't fight, and that It's near Rosita. South. Okay, got that Rosita, South, okay? The seal's about to be broken, oh, and warn them they won't get much from the old woman, Mongrel watching that route, and he's close to the last page. That's all I have now, gotta go."

He hung up, looking at the phone. The human. He wasn't sure how much to trust him. Oh well, it wasn't his problem. He tucked his ceel phone away and sat down, looking at the landscape far below.

"Yes, about all they'll get out of her is whatever they carve on her grave marker."

Somewhere in France

He looked up, his eyes opening seemingly on thier own. His meditation had been deep, and what he had seen severe to have awaken him so suddenly.
A vision, perhaps, he thought.
He looked among those around him, finding the old lady the only one still awake, though she wasn't what one might call actively so. She sat far off, seemingly in a trance-like state in her own right.
He stood, moving toward, suddenly concerned. Flashes of the vision were returning to him, and though he could gain no details of how or why, the basic picture was becoming far too clear, so clear that he wished those images would cease altogether, bury themselves within whatever future they had been hidden.
He sat next to her, sitting indian style, not saying a word. She would knowhe was there.
"You sensed it," she said, after what seemed like an eternity, but was more likely less than a single minute.
He nodded. She couldn't see, wasn't even looking at him, but again, she would know.
"What will you do?" He asked.
She said nothing.
"Will you run?"
Again, she said nothing.
Perhaps she didn't know, or was waiting for some sign of what to do next.
After another minute or so of silence, he stood up, wanting to tell her that he would protect her, and save her, but knowing he could do no such thing. He had his own place in all of this, and she would simply remind him so.
"Darius," she began.
He stopped dead in his tracks, not looking back.
"Yes?"
"You will leave soon?"
"Yes," he replied.
"Good."
He continued away, not looking back, unsure if he had seen the old woman for the last time. He gathered his things and stuffed them into his pack, taking only the items he knew he would need, then disappeared into darkness beyond the old carnival tents that were still standing. The circus was done in this town, and come tomorrow, the tents would be gone, everyone who now occupied them moving on to the next town.
But he would not be there to see it.

Keith leaped into the air as the phone went dead in his arms.
"I knew it... I knew it! Did you know that Joseph said..."
But Vladimir was gone. Keith stared at the phone a second, but then turned to the others with a shit grin on his face that wouldn't leave for quite some time.
"You see? You see! I told you, I told you Vladimir was a good guy. He is on our side, helping us right now, as we speak. He is inside Mongrel's organization, and brought information out to us. Someone is watching this old lady we are going after, and we need to be careful of the seal. Something about South Rosita as well. Rosita south? He said it all kinda fast, but I think Rosita there was a definite Rosita."
Keith stopped his heightened speech, stopping and looking at the rest with a solemness in his face that almost made him cry when he spoke the next sentence.
"Mongrel is close to the page. Really close. Whatever we do, it should be fast."
He stared first at Joseph, and then the one who defended him, Kat, as if he had just beat them both at their own game. Vampires? He didn't know shit about vampires, but he knew Vlad. He had been with Vlad, he knew. The man would never let him down, never.
"He could have very well saved all our lives with this message. We know if we go to the old lady, someone will be watching us. I think we should keep going, and find them. Walk into the trap knowing it's a trap. An old cop trick, used many times. Once they spring it on us, we'll be ready to strike back."

Shaking my head slightly at the echo of pain that returns to me from Joseph I turn to repsond to Aria. "I am not sure how you know him, but I do not trust the feeling I get from that name." I semi-whisper. Getting closer to Joseph I face him fully no fear or disgust in my eyes nor sympathy, "Why is this one called Vlad calling your phone?? I do not trust this?"

She listened to the half of the conversation she could hear and it made little sense to her. Still having no real idea why she was even here, she moved outside with the others. She was packed and readied to go and yet they seemed to be lingering again.

Why?

She leaned against the rental watching all of them chat amoung themselves. Vlad? That name was mentioned once wasn't it? Sighing, she took an interest in the lint fibers on her cloak for a moment and picked them off one by one. She could go home and say the hell with all of this. For one she wasn't a ring bearer. Only trouble was, she came with them, not comercially. She didn't even have a passport on her.

Figures.

She hadn't been thinking again and now look where she ended up? Sitting around watching everyone bicker and discuss when not hours before they needed to do something with action. Go figure. The wind must have left their sails already. Or perhaps there was genuine reason for caution?

She listened with half attention and set her things down inside the open door of the vehicle. Moving slowly around the side, she walked over to the grass and sat down. She may as well relax until it was time to go. She slowly started to stretch out her muscles as she sat, an old habit when she had nothing better to do. It helped to keep her limber, nothing better to do anyway.

Aria

My head was pounding as I was shuffling through bits of information, forcing myself as best I could to recall what was going on or had gone on in the past.

I agreed with Kat, I did not trust him. That alone said enough for me, but the others would need proof. How? Keith idolized the man, and I really did not wish to upset Keith but I could not stop that nagging feeling either.

"He.. Vlad.. I remember him, or rather his name." Brows knitted with concentration until finally it came to me. "He has attacked all of us at one time or another. He isn't to be trusted, he attacked Joseph himself. And.." I shivered a little upset rising inside me quickly as I moved around Joseph to stand before him.

The anger emminating off of me it was almost visible. "You talk to him!? Joseph?" I was trying hard to understand, figure out what in god's green earth would drive him to speak with such a vile man?!

"He has tried to kill you since six damned years ago!" I growled out in a low tone, wanting to do some harm to him at that point. Had he gone daft as well?!

"We're going to France and we're going now.. And" My head lifted, meeting everyone's eyes in the group, "If anyone tells Vladamir anything remotely useful in tracking us, I will leave your ass behind!" My eyes met those of Keith msotly. I knew Ray hated Vladamir as much as I did. I glanced over Joseph again, shaking my head wishing I could understand when he lost all touch with reality!?

I moved around Joseph and towards Keith, stopping before him I held out my hand for the cell phone. "Let me have it please."
Getting the cell phone from him I turned and threw it as hard as I could into the hard ground beyond some brush. The memories were coming back, a little more often and more clear.

"Vladamir is a man out for blood and will use everyone to get ahead in life.. even if it means your death as well Keith. He's caused wars and countless deaths, and I am betting he is aiding some how in this and on the wrong side." Sighing heavily, being weary of all of it, I grabbed the last crate myself and put it into the rental.

"Vladamir is aware.." I moved back to the group, "Of where we are heading, so that means Mongrel knows as well. It could possibly be a trap, but we are aware of that now. It might be, not it is. If it wasn't so damned important to see the old woman, I wouldn't go. But we need answers quickly inorder to beat Mongrel at his own game."

"Keys Ray?" I held out my hand and caught them as he dropped them from his fingers. "Thank you." Moving around the vehicle, I jumped in and got it started. "Ready?" I figured Joseph would be mad with me yet again for awhile, tossing out his cell like that, but I was going about this differently this time. No tracing. The credit cards had to go, and we had to get deeper underground.. Even if that meant sleep in old cemeteries and not five star hotels.

Joseph

He turned, walking back towards the others. He stood near Keith, looking towards where the phone had gone. He could tell by the sound that it was useless now. He looked to the man, and talked loud enough for the others to hear if they cared.

"She's half right, you you. Vladamir doesn't see right and wrong as you or I do. His side of the battle is constantly shifting, but it's always got his goals in mind. He was my friend for many centuries, and for the last few years he has been trying to kill me."

He turned to Aria, making sure she could hear him. "But when he found me half-dead after Mongrel had got to our family, he saved my life. He took me to the druids who kept me alive. And if he says there's a trap at the old woman's, then he's probably the trap."

He moved over, getting into the vehicle, and looked towards Aria. "I've known him a lot longer than you have. And I say this from experience, Vladamir Trepes does not hid his traps. I remember when we killed vampires. He would announce to the entire nest days before he arrived that he would kill them. And on the day he said, he would walk right in the front door. He likes his enemies to know when he's laying down a trap, or planning to kill them. He likes them to know. He wants them to be ready for it, so that when he wins he can savor the kill."

He sat back, leaning his head against the door window, silent.

Aria

"I see.. Well then I guess it is up to me to see he doesn't win this time." I shifted the vehicle into action as soon as everyone was within and headed to the airport. I said nothing more about it, but I knew if I ran into Vladamir, he or I might end up dead.

I didn't care what his plans were, but I knew if we didn't hurry he might find the old woman before we did. Luckily for me I knew where to locate her this time of year. The carnival. I just hoped it was not too late. And if it were? I didn't know what else to do just yet, but my mind was mulling it over. All else fails, I go after Mongrel himself. Maybe find Vlad as well and get rid of that one once and for all. Vlad might be strong and determined, but a bullet would stop him just as it would stop anyone else. And I didn't play by rules or with warnings. Winning was winning, I was finding this out.

Pulling up to the gate, Ray showed the man his credentials or something and the gates parted. I had to stop thinking in small terms and think in larger terms.. As well as stop being so damned soft where other's were concerned and playing by rules. There was too much at stake to be fair. What I really needed now was a nap, but we'd see what happens between here and there.

Aria

The flight was short, each in their own worlds and own thoughts, this was looking bleak by the moment. Ray seemed edgy and nervous, pacing quite a bit but I said nothing to him to disturb whatever he was thinking over.
Once on the ground I felt a whole lot better. French soil, I knew this area a little better than New York. Papers were checked, the plane moved and again a rental. We wouldn't be here for long hopefully. Perhaps just a few hours?
Do we all go now? I wasn't sure really if everyone needed to go see this old woman, but it would be easier than picking who goes and who stays.
"Weapons check guys.. " I hunted around in the jet until I had found a nice 9mm hand gun. Ray always had these things handy it seemed. Armed and ready, I waited for the others to situate so we could move on. "Who wants to drive?"

Lord Vladamir Trepes

"Fuckin' France," he muttered to himself. He couldn't understand why Joseph was attached to this place. It was nothing at all like Gual. Perhaps it was the scenery? He snorted, continuing on his way.

He'd contacted everyone he knew in the region. All seventeen of them. He growled. This country was a place Joseph knew well, Vladamir personally couldn't stand the place, it's people, or even the language.

But, there was a good stretch of news. He'd found the old woman. In a god-damned circus. If there was one thing Vlad hated more than France, it was the god-damned circus. He stopped. "It's a French circus." He growled to himself, and continued on, moving past the people as they moved. He wasn't dressed in his usual expensive suits. Just some jeans and a long-sleeved shirt.

He almost wished that one of his connections hadn't been to the circus a few stops ago and had noticed the old woman, and a man who had been there, and decided to see where it was going. Not when he had to be at the damn circus. He got directions to where the old woman was, and continued on.

She had to work in a fuckin' circus. I almost want to kill her now. God this is friggin' annoying.

Ray

I pace on the plain fear and anger boiling with in me. I twist the ring on my finger over and over feeling it’s warmth radiating in to me but it’s not as strong as before I can feel the cold creeping slowly back in to my body the numbness taking hold. I growl as I stop looking out of a window at the land moving below me. I know that the master was calling me and he was over powering the ring.

I look at my family fear at what would happen to them if I can’t fight the cold off fight my masters control. My eyes lock on cat regretting what could have been. I then look at aria pain that never truly heeled stabbing me deeper then I ever let her or Maggie know.

When we land I let every one ells leave the plain first fallowing them slowly. Stager as a wave of intense cold washes over me. I grab the frame of the door hearing it creak as it warps from the strength of my grip. I then walk slowly and carefully down the stars.

I walk up behind Aria taking her arm in my hand gently knowing that she can feel the ice coldness radiating from my hand. I gently pull her away from the others wanting to talk to her alone. I look around briefly making sheer know one fallowed me.

I look in to aria’s quesgening eyes then loosing my self in them. I smile sadly as I touch her cheek with a finger wincing as she pulls away from the cold touch. I take a deep breath ordering my thoughts as I let my hand fall to my side.

“I have to go.” I say simply my eyes never leaving hers. “I don’t know if I’ll ever com back from where I’m going.” I look away then not able to meat her gaze. “As far as this world is concerned I will be dead for I won’t be on this plain.” I chuckle sadly pain in my voice.

I look at her once agene forcing my self to meat her gaze one last time her face burning in to my mind never to be lost. “I never stopped loving you Aria.” I sigh “I left every thing too you.” I hand her a card with a number and a name. “Tell him that I’m dead and tell him who you are he will understand.”

I lean n then as if to kiss her one last time but I wince instead as a shard of cold slams in to my hart making it flutter then falter freezing. I force my self to take one last look at Aria “I’m sorry I’m so sorry.” I say softy before running as fast as I can. I don’t look back I just run faster then they could hope to fallow the fear and anger giving me energy making my legs tern in to a blur.

I don’t know how long I ran it didn’t mater I couldn’t run from what was engulfing me. I stop suddenly near a stream deep in the hills. I fall to my knees my arms crossing over my stomach. Frost begins to appear on the plants next to me the water of the stream freezing soled with a crackling noise. I hear the birds around me go silent suddenly as they sense the unnatural cold forming around me. Then there's a wild burst of wings as the frightened birds explode in to the air flying as fast as they can away from me and the evil that was engulfing me.

Just as the black void enfolds me the ring of strength and sword of truth disappear seeking there new owner. I let out one last soul ranching scream of anguish my mind reflexively reaching out to Cat and Aria looking for comfort but only finding the void and the angry voice of my master. I feel the death like coldness infuse me as pain beyond any thing I could imagine rips threw my body and sole ripping me apart agene and agene.

THE NEW RINGBARER

Just as Ray is taken in to the prison of his master the ring appears on A.B’s finger as the sword of truth appears around her waist. The ring melds with her mind giving her images of what happened to Ray and the noleg that he had of the force that has taken him.

Aria

"What?" Ray was dragging me off to speak somewhere but for what reason? He hurried me along and away from the others, his hands colder than I had ever felt before.

He silenced me with a warning to just listen, I had a distinct feeling his time was running out.. But again why? I shivered, jerking away from his touch. His hands were so cold, unfeeling almost.

"What's happening to you?" My mind tried to connect with his and failed, only an empty feeling settled inside. I began shaking, fear crawling up inside that this was far worse than a mere chit chat.

“I have to go.” I say simply my eyes never leaving hers. “I don’t know if I’ll ever com back from where I’m going.” I look away then not able to meat her gaze. “As far as this world is concerned I will be dead for I won’t be on this plain.” His words were haunting, frightening as well.

I did not understand and tried to without explanation. Again I bit back hard, wanting to ask questions but the look in his eyes and the pain he was feeling (which was obvious from his strained features) was a telling sign.. of what?

This plain? What?!?!

A tear fell down my cheek, watching him grind his teeth, panting and tensing as if being torn apart from the inside out. I tried to touch him again, yet the coldness warned me away.

“I never stopped loving you Aria.” I sigh “I left every thing too you.” I hand her a card with a number and a name. “Tell him that I’m dead and tell him who you are he will understand.” I took the card, hand unsteady but not a spare glance went to what was written there.

It was too much to take, his words and that old pain again came ripping back through me. Nothing could be said, no time anyway. If I thought it would help I would ask his forgiveness for betraying him in the manner in which I had. You can not help who you love, but it did not make it any easier to see he meant those words, meant them deeply.

Choked up, I wanted to tell him to stop this nonsense but again he gasped out in pain. "What in the hell is happening to you!? Ray?!" No longer quiet, no longer caring who over heard. He was in pain! out of the blue, from no where, just this pain??

Was Mongrel doing this? I did then glance around, looking to see if a culprit could be located, no one but us in the group were around?

“I’m sorry I’m so sorry.” His words were fading as he whirled and ran, ran like a man chased by demons if not Satan himself.

"RAY!" I called out, running after him a few feet before losing sight of him completely. "Ray!" I yelled out again, nearly causing myself to cough from the hurting to my voice.

And with the stiring of the night winds, I could feel it inside me... Ray was gone. Not gone as in missing, but dead. Trembling, I felt my knees give out and the ground come up from under me and hit hard. Slamming down onto the ground on my ass, I couldn't take it anymore, I let it out and cried. Huddled on the hard pavement, I could feel his mind inside my own vanishing, with it the answers to all of this.

Ungrateful little piss ants. He couldn't believe they acted this way. Vladimir had just saved all of their worthless ignorant lives, and here they were unable to believe him. If that's what it meant to be a vampire, some stupid ignorant piece of shit who walked around all the time as if their balls were bigger than everyone elses, then they could have it.
He would take human any day of the week.
Keith sat in the back for most of the trip. He ate, as no one else did, an mid flight meal. Cold chicken, but it was better than nothing. He had a glass of coke as well. Nice and cold, with ice cubes floating in it. Delicious. He wondered if they tasted coke. Did they? Was it the same? Did it taste like blood to him, or did it taste like coke?
So many questions.
Off the plane, he kept to himself, mostly just following the group. It wasn't until Aria fell down, crying out to someone, that he paid much of any attention.
He was the first to her side, making sure she still breathed. Something happened to her. He wanted to help, maybe even call an ambulance, but she was a vampire. No hospital could ever help her.
Maybe Kat could.
"Kat?" He called, "Can you help her?"
He as ready to pick her up, and take her to a hotel or something if need be.

AB

She stared hard around the area, just glancing at things. She didn't notice anything unusual until the cold winds blew through and Aria's screaming for Ray.

Turning around, her hand went instantly to her hidden knife but she saw nothing. Things began to change quickly around her, things she did not like.

"I do not like this.." She fell short of saying what she did not like when a weight settled against her side.

"What the..." She glanced down, a pure white sword hung on her hip.. The sword Ray had been carrying.

"Ok this is freaking me out.." She mumbled, staring seemingly lost at the sword on her side. She had not seen Ray nor felt him near her, so how did this sword come to her? WHY did it come to her?

The scenary began to tilt and spin wildly, a sickening feeling coming to her stomach as images began to fill her mind's eye and thoughts came to her.

The bile rose in her throat and as quickly as it came, it stopped.

"He's dead...." The knowledge in her mind was flooring, extremely stunning mentally and physically. She stood numb, her mind now filled with things she wished she did not know. Her eyes landed on the glowing ring now encircling her finger.

"oh god.. Not me.." She whispered, Aria forgotten and those around them as well. WHY in hell was she chosen?!

Joseph

He stopped, turning to face the others. Ray was gone. He could smell it. Whatever Ray had started that day so long again, it had come to a head. He shook his head, and walked halfway to Aria. He stopped, standing still, not knowing what to say to her. If there was anything he could say.

He turned to the woman who spoke, smelling the mixture of scents on her. He grunted. He turned, wandering off a little before he stopped. He thought of centuries past, times when Ray had stopped by the Family, even though he was somewhat of a loner. Of days long past when Ray had been young. He shook his head of such thoughts, and waited for the group to regroup.

And while they did that, he let his senses range, and began to scout out the area.

France.

Home,....

Lord Vladamir Trepes

He stepped into the Fortune Teller's tent. It was half empty, and the old woman was busy packing it all up for their move to the next town. He grunted, and sat down in the chair set up for the customers.

"Hello. I suppose you know why I'm here?"

Magdellin (the Witch)

She paused her working a moment and stood up to her full height. All five foot four inches of her turn around and gazed at the man seated at her table.

"Yes. I know why you are here Vladamir." She had seen it coming and knew what was to come, but instead of running from it, she faced it head on.

"You seek answers that are not yours." She slowly moved around the tent, her bent over form riddled with cramps and such.

Lord Vladamir Trepes

He watched her move around, and nodded. He sat back, staring up at the ceiling of the tent. He sighed, and turned his attention back to her, watching her work.

"Yes, I seek answers. And it's true that they aren't entirely mine, but would it not be better to pass them on to someone who might see they were used properly than to die with them?"

Magdellin (the Witch)

"ah, yes. It would be wouldn't it? And if not you here to finish me, someone else will come. I too know this and have debated." She moved to the chair and sat down.

Ludacris as it seemed, he was the lesser of the two evils after her. She would not live to pass this information on, but the one thing murky about this was Vladamir himself.

"How do I know you will pass the word and knowledge on where it is needed Vladamir?" She waved her hand in the air as if to dismiss the whole idea.

"You wish to know two things. The final ring bearer and where the last page is.. Am I correct?" She fell silent again trying to see him for what he was not what he appeared to be.

"Tell me what you will do with this knowledge?" She sat back. In the background she heard her motor home starting up and readying to leave. Her granddaughter had been sent away for safe keeping, this only left her assistant.

She would not be leaving here tonight, nor ever, but she had time to waste here. After all, what else could she do with the remaining fifteen minutes of her life she hadn't done already?

Lord Vladamir Trepes

He chuckled.

"I said might, old woman. And those two things aren't all. I want to know more about the book, and Mongrel, and, well, all of it!"

He waved his hands in the air.

"But really, you can't be sure of anything. Except that I'm going to kill you. I'm afraid I have to, you know. But, hey, I might pass it on, I might not. It depends, you know. I'm not exactly,...predictable."

Magdellin (the Witch)

"No you aren't are you? Can not decide which side you wish to harm and which you wish to help. Confliction inside you Vladamir, that is what leads to downfall. You can be hurt, be aware of that. As well as aware that if you do not see when you are supposed to.. Things in life pass you by. No one waits forever." She fell silent, her fingers steepled before her mouth, watching him.

"Mongrel wishes to rule the world and will do his best to get it. His future is unclear and the aura surrounding him is muddled. He has more enemies that he knows of but will soon learn. The book he carries? Perhaps you have seen it? It posseses great powers that will unleash but once. How you may wonder? Now that I can not determine young man." She cackled a little, he appeared young but was older than time.

She knew Darius was on his way, safe for now. A mission to complete. Darius knew, but Vladamir did not.. not yet. Darius was the link she prayed would come through for them all. Perhaps even Christian would exceed himself and all others? She had so many things to say, to tell and yet knew none would reach her in time. And little Anna.. She had alot to accomplish before the end came. She was saddened to know the girl was shadowed, but she did see a brighter, stronger future for the girl.. Only life's lessons would cost her greatly before she could relish in her achievements..

"Oh, sorry I was off elsewhere.." She thought over many things, all of it disturbing and some of it, although small slivers of hope, that good could over come.. The ending wasn't painted because it was dealing with a magical element which was not preditable.

"They come you know.. All of them, minus the big one. The group is coming and you know it as well, don't you?"

She sat forward, lighting her incense. "Too many questions Vladamir and not enough time. I will answer two questions most pressing on your mind and none else Vladamir.. That is my deal with you. Think long and hard on what you really wish to know.." She sat back, watching him, guaging his reaction to this news.

Lord Vladamir Trepes

He nodded, thinking quietly to himself. He sighed, and shook his head. He lifted his head, and looked her in the eyes before nodding.

"Alright, my two questions are, What does Mongrel want to be kept secret most of all? And,....well, I'll await the answer to that before I ask another."

He nodded. "I know they come. I tried to stop them from wasting time, but they'll come. Just like I knew Joseph would go with them when he got there. Old woman, you may think I can't pick sides, but I have. Long ago. I have picked a side. And sometimes it means doing things I don't want to. And sometimes it means hurting friends, sometimes killing her."

Magdellin (the Witch)

She sat back, her mind clearing as she fished through the realms of unknown and known, searching for his answer he sought.

"Mongrel cares for no one and nothing but himself and his achieving his ultimate goal.. And he will achieve it." She paused the magical realm so difficult to see clearly and know everything for certain.

"The ring bearers are to stop the book from healing but it will come. Many factors come into this, the answer is not clear to your question, but his downfall is what he hides the most. The one secret he does not want out. He can be killed, powerful and controlling all things, he can be killed." The old chant came back to her, seeping into her mind like a child's nursery rhyme.
"Blood of her blood.. Her son will come.. He has the power to kill Mongrel, to use the magic against him, to weild the sword of truth." Her eyes focused on Vladamir, "The answers are never clear when dealing with magic Vladamir. He does not want anyone to know that inorder to bring him down one must find Gwendolynn's son Corbin." She fell silent, watching him closely. Did the name ring a bell with him? She doubted it. This man was faceless but lurking in all corners and a threat beyond any Mongrel had seen before.

Lord Vladamir Trepes

He nodded slowly. Thinking about what she had said. He was silent for a few minutes. He pulled out his gun, and a silencer. He stood up, and began attaching the silencer.

"I'm ready for my second question."

He finished attaching the silencer, and turned off the safety, watching her with sad eyes. It was the only emotion he'd shown in a long time.

"What can I do to help this Corbin defeat Mongrel?"

Magdellin (the Witch)

She did not look up at him, knowing what was coming.

"Two things will aid you. Locating Corbin and alining him with the ring bearers." She fell silent a moment, debating on what to tell him? He was the last one that would ever speak with her, she had nothing to lose now.

“The page.. It rests where least expected. In plain sight but hidden. It is guarded by something..” her brows furrowed a little, trying to see what was lurking in the shadows but could not get an answer. She kept getting conflicting bits of information, something powerful guarded the pages’ where-abouts.
“Look to Aria for the clue… That is all I can see. Aria knows but is not aware.”

Her vision cleared and blurred again and again, the final ring bearer eluding her questing eyes.

“He who is meant to bear the final ring is not yet able. He is not yet living. It is muddled.. But the wrongs must be righted, the dead will rise again and the ring will find it’s home in an unusual manner.” She gasped, her eyes widening a little as she saw the flames of hell licking at her.

Shaking herself, she came out of it, patting at her gown that now burned along the hem.

“It is all I can tell you.” She met his eyes across the table knowing her time was up.
