They learn about Plymouth Rock, Valley Forge, the Civil War and Pearl Harbor. Oh, and The Alamo.

Perdita :p

And, that national "hero," Custer.

:)

My Irania... Ehem! Persian friends, you are violating UN nuclear protocol. US is going after your country to put "yes-men" in charge (without British support, this time).

(It's OK for Israelis, Indians and Pakistanis coz' they are "friendly")

WAR ON THREE FRONTS (US is going for WBC, WBA, IBF championship to unite the world championship belts)!

Therefore, I declare, good luck and send good will that you'll fair better than your neighbour, the Iraqis (plus the Kurds).

P.S.
American moms: your country is greatful for your sons' ultimate sacrifice for the NATIONAL security.

There is also a rumour that US maybe planning on WAR ON FOUR FRONTS to challenge for WBO version of championship belt held by North Korea (The People's Republic Of Korea).

But the general consensus is that WBO rather lacks the street-cred, so maybe... Oh, I dunno.

Serf literacy is below average, Bud.

Sorry folks,

I couldn't find a link to the story I intended to post.

It's by Dave! Eggers entitled Joanna Newsom changed my life.

I read it in today's G2, but no article on-line, probably due to the fact that the story was originally published on/in Spin magazine (Couldn't find the story in Spin magazine on-line either).

So, this make this post rather pointless. But suffice to say, Dave did a good job of bigging up Joanna Newsom's music with some class. Brilliantly written, and had somethings important to spread.

Anyway, YOU are resourceful enough to find the story and read it. It'll enrich your life in small doses (as any good story should).

Bye for now,

And over 20,000,000 'homegrown' American adults can't even read. (US Education statistic.)

Note: UK 11 year-old skills equate with average USA 18-year old academic skills. (Sourse - anywhere but USA)
