One of my favorite movies of all time -

Love dance.... wish I could get over my own nervousness of doing it in front of others again. I used to be in musical productions... once was a time that it brought me great joy. But life strayed me away from its course.

One of my favorite subjects to study in art, through sculpture and drawing is dancing. The closeness of two bodies, entwined with such lovely muscles and gestures. Very beautiful and inspiring.

There are many great dance movies from that time - An American In Paris is right up there at the top for we as well.

"Work like you don't need money,
Love like you've never been hurt,
And dance like no one's watching."

Dance movies

I just watched Brigadoon for about the umpteenth time. I also watch Cats a lot! I collect dance movies, I guess it is a habit that is hard to break, being an ex-theatre grunt and a the fact I had a undergraduate minor in Dance/Physical Ed back in the day.

Eb [and I still have the legs/thighs to prove it!]

I like dance movies as well. The Japanese version of "Shall We Dance" staring Tamiyo Kusakari and Koji Yakusyo is one I enjoy watching over and over.

Just for the record...I blame you for this..
Just called the local dance studio..
Finally going to break down and go for the tango lessons.

I have to say this to someone, and this thread seems like a good enough option. I keep seeing that thread, "Two Masters..." and then I keep hearing that old Motown song, "Two Lovers." Do you know that one? Or is it just me? It's in my head because of that thread. Argh!
