Funny story, when I first moved to California from England we had a spelling test, and "color" was one of the words on the test. Of course, being from England I spelled it Colour (which, btw, my spell checker also thinks is wrong). So I was marked down for that, but I had no idea why. so I fought for it, and my teacher eventually relented. Yay for me!
