Dear Litster, once more

Dear friends/ Litsters...

I’m deeply sorry that I hurt some of you today...

I didn’t realize my mistake until I received some pms about this...

In the -Name a Lister you appreciate thread- my post mentioned “ Azul and only him really”...

That was meant for another thread ... I think anyone who knows me well would know I would never say I appreciate only one person here... I never would say or mean that as I deeply care for and appreciate all my friends...I think I meant my response for Who’s in your inbox thread or something...

I’m very sorry... my mind is all over the place today as I found out a close friend passed away today, so I’ve been very scattered...

Clearly shouldn’t be posting in this mindset...
🌹

Dear one Litster,

Blame the wine. We love you. Don't worry.

And I'm sorry about your friend. It's never easy to lose someone you love. But hang on to the good memories. They will get you through.

Love,

Saw it too but knew you were thinking of something else Litster

Dear longterm friend Litster,

This is a very happy & welcome, unexpected development!
I’m so looking forward to spending the next month on sabbatical from here getting to know you better.

Friendship is the best possible starting point, as is just taking the time away together and going slow. Here’s to our future as friends, or just maybe so much more 😊

Happy to see where this goes Litster :rose:

Dear Litster, you’re a complete and total whack job. I feel bad for you and anyone associated with you.

Telling it like it is

Dear Litster who lives in Milan,

Bad news coming from your city. I hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy, and stay that way.

Carbonara e una coca colaaaaaaaaaa Litster

Dear Vacay Litster,

I'm not really sure what that was all about - too much to drink? Attempt to invoke some emotion on my part? It was just awkward and uncomfortable and really more information than I needed/wanted. I'm going to hope it was alcohol - and that you all enjoyed the rest of your trip.

Sincerely,

Not a tree Litster.

Did you go out and buy it in a mad panic about coronavirus though?

I supplemented my stash. And the store had a deal on a 30 packs, so why the heck not? We'll use it eventually.

I have been doing some coronavirus related prepping though... along the lines of having enough pantry stuff (broths, pasta, dehydrated veggies, beans) and some extra supplies of basics just in case we are told to shelter in place for a couple of weeks.

It helps me sleep better. :)

Dear Litsters,

The schools (primary, secondary, and college) are closing for three weeks after tomorrow and many public events have been canceled or postponed. The primaries and political fights continue as usual for this time of year. March Madness has been canceled. *gasp* The weather has been going fuckin' nuts- hail, straight line winds, lightning so close it damn near fried me, and rain.. so much rain... My anxiety is through the roof and I have not been a pleasant person. Did I exercise today? Nope, I drank an alcoholic beverage and then another.. My jaw has loosened up and I don't feel quite as close to meltdown.

Why am I telling y'all this? To bring this up....Check on your friends and your family. Watch their eyes when they answer you- say that there's a lot of fear and uncertainty right now in this world but one thing you know for sure- that you love them and you're there for them.

:rose:Me

Dear always concerned for others' well being litster;

*blows raspberries on your belly*

Thanks for being you.

Sincerely, a Litster who tends to overlook such things.

Hey....

Don't get caught up in the silly media hysteria. Don't succumb to the fear, panic or uncertainty. Most things are out of our control. Some things aren't. Don't be surprised that folks are being tested positive for this virus. Our bodies are repositories of germs, bacteria & viruses. What holds them back is our immune systems & that's what we can control. It shouldn't come as a surprise that older folks fall sick to this virus as their immune systems are suppressed, damaged, weak, due to any number of reasons... smoking, prescription drugs......

Instead of focusing on all the bullshit, focus on improving, maintaining your immune system, echinacea is an herb that helps increase white blood cells, raw unpasteurized honey is an anti inflammatory, anti bacterial, anti viral. Kombucha. if done properly is an anti bacterial down to the cellular level, Tumeric is an effective blood cleanser.

And wtf is this obsession with toilet paper?

Dear All,

I get it too, my neighboring state just shut down schools for hundreds of thousands of children. I live in a smaller state and it is looking like our state is heading the same way. You want a worrier...that's me...except...my number one Man, and my sons have given me courage through their humour and their LOVE! My oldest called it "March Sadness," when the games were cancelled. We enjoy watching basketball together and he may not be able to play some of his second year of high school tennis if this happens. As for toilet paper...I like mine soft, for obvious reasons. I would like a choice to buy it. Be well all and LOVE each other in the world, like others have said,
Sincerely, Always

Dear wtf TP crisis,

It's not the virus that has me on edge; it's the constant barrage of neverending media shit that has me on edge (and tornado season has come early and my emergency shelter hasn't been restocked all that well.) And I can't just disconnect from social media to give myself some peace because my son's soccer team only communicates through it. Oh, and the idiots at the grocery store who were treating this like a TP-Apocalypse. Plenty of milk and bread, but TP? Don't get me wrong- I worry and get anxious over stupid little shit on a daily business.
*hugs*

More to share,

Both boys schools are closed for the week. We promised my mom we would come on Sunday to visit but she is 80, so...i don't know what to do.
Signed, confused

Dear First, Last and Every In Between Litster,

I know yesterday wasn’t enough time for either of us, and that leaving me was one of the hardest things you did that day (and, especially right now, your job is not one I would describe as simple). I know that you wish we could have had more time like we were planning, but I also know that even with more time, it wouldn’t ever be enough.

I cannot imagine a world where I have had enough of you.

You fill my lungs with deep breaths. You make my heart beat in a way I’ve never felt or imagined possible before. I can wait forever if I know that, at the end of the waiting, your smile will be there to greet me, your arms will be there to hold me, and your kiss will be there to tell me.

 Always and forever,

Your Daisy

At least you don't have to deal with any Sharknados. As for the rest, play you some music videos. Today I played a concert by the Bee Gees when they played Australia while figuring out my cuts for the granite I just got for my bathroom.

Dear old friend litster,

I miss you sometimes. Sometimes more than others. I know I shouldn't, and it often makes me angry with myself when I do. Even though friendships end, or change, I am grateful for the good they brought into my life. Even the hard lessons. No natter where you are, I hope you are happy.

Feeling Nostalgic litster

Dear litster,

No matter the outside circumstances, you're part of my mind and my heart and in my very blood.
I miss you dreadfully, and I'll be there as soon as I can be.
Hearing your voice today was the most beautiful thing.

Yours,
Me.

Dear North of the Border Litster.
You were the last one I thought would ever hurt me.

I don't feel like coming up with a sign off name

Litsters,

Who knew Chris Rea had a long, successful career after Fool If You Think It’s Over? Thanks, Wiki!
