Dear Those Were The Days Litster

Yes, read it, there's more for the teeth than there is in Coraline (in my opinion). It's Gaiman's take on the Jungle Book.

Rather than Baloo and a monkey harem there's a graveyard, with ghouls :)

Thinking graphic novels have more to say than they get credit for Litster

Suggestful Litster

I'd completely forgotten about 'A Wrinkle In Time.' It was my favourite book for a time, and I never understood half of what she was talking about when I read it. I must go look it up and read it again, if I don't still have it somewhere.

Your gratefully reminded Litster

It's from a poem by Steve Martin. I'm quoting poetry here, I'll have you know.

SHE HAD THE JUGS

Yes, she was witty; she was intelligent. She was born of high station. She spoke and walked proudly. She was the kind who displayed nobility, who showed style and class. But above all, she had the jugs.

Many people called her by her last name; some closer friends had a confidence with her and shared the intimacy of her first name. But to me, she was always “Lady jugs a-plenty.”

It is true. She was clever and she was charming, but above all, she had the jugs.

Dear Humdrum Litsters,

You're supposed to be entertaining and witty. When you're not, I'm bored, antsy, and somewhat itchy in places. There's only two avenues for me when this occurs. Wander off or strike back.

Sincerely,

Forced to Entertain Myself Around Here Litster.

Dear Hat wearing Lister,

It was my pleasure, and I didn't think it appropriate to have us nose to nose. Hahaha. It is harder to match a photo than a person would think, but it has been a lot of fun.

Signed,

Dear Suggesting Litster

Thank you, I will add this to an ever-increasing list of books to read when I can do so for pleasure and not because I have to.

A 25-item library allowance is still not enough right now Litster :cool:

To see you use that word, ah, priceless
Still chuckling litster

Dear Always Quoting Images Litster;

Seriously, quit commenting on picture threads by 'quoting' the pictures. I've already seen them once and would like so see others, not page after page of previously posted pictures.
Try something different, like pm's thanking the person who initially posted them, or better, by posting pictures you've found and would like to share.

It's bloody annoying. Stop it.
