Maybe you should take a trip down. They might have a shiny toaster. Just think of it DGO, all your dreams, all your fantasies; just one bullet away.

Mind you, best make it two.

I'm going shopping for a toaster this week! Oh, and for bread.

Oh, I'm just so excited for you. I can hardly contain my glee.

Maybe forget the bread so you can spend a little extra on the toaster?

~ Oh happy days.

I gotta go get my beauty sleep. That's one thing I'm sure we agree on!

~ Be good to you, DGO.

:rose:

~ You deserve it.

Thank you Kylan for being nice once. I want to see a smiling picture replace the sad mug.:kiss::kiss:

Did you know...

... that today is Palindromic Minute Day? In 1001, at exactly 10:01 in the morning, a clock set on European time read: 1001, 1001, 1001 (10:01, 10/01, 1001). The only other time this happened was at 2:02 p.m. on February 20, 2002. It will never happen again, at least under current dating systems.

i understood the 10/01/01 thing, but how in the world does the 8:02 thing fit in? shouldn't it be 2:02?
good morning dgo, thank you for making me think this morning.

OhHhhHHh, I see. It's perfectly O.k for you to copy somebody else's homework, but if they do it, it's wrong.

~ You get that toaster yet?

~ I'm hungry.

Of course. As a teacher I can copy material that I think will benefit my students.

I didn't get the toaster yet.

That's what I like about you DGO, a woman of action. And why, pray tell, haven't you treated yourself as yet?

You deserve it.

Exercise for older adults

Begin by standing on a comfortable surface where you have plenty of room at each side. With a 5-lb potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute and then relax.

Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer.

After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato sacks. Then try 50-lb sacks and then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb potato sack in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. (I'm at this level.)

After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each of the sacks.

Wow! I feel so young now.

I was actually able to START with a 10-lb sack! :D

Great exercise. I think I'll start that tomorrow!

I'm feeling good tonight. The rose is delightful.

Other than exhausted, how are you?

If I could I would give you a REAL ROSE...................Do you like yellow ones?

I am doing good.
I am in Ohio all this past week and next week in Pittsburg. but then I go to South Carolina....there is a nice place to go for a few days.
