Diablo 2(for the uninitiated, there will be, once again, guidelines)

Thorr

OOC:*blush*

Thorr looks down at the demon's corpse, slowly smoking into dissipation, then back up to Alic. "Thorr sorry. Not know we can talk to badguys too. Hokay! I find another one to talk to, you bet!" With a nod, Thorr steps back out of the room, calling "Here, icky-ickies! Thorr want to talk!"

Orenda

I walked over to the barbarian and said,"I dont think that is going to work..." just before I heard an answering bellow from the foot of the stairs. "Then again, you may have something there, big guy," I added as I began to ready a fire spell.

OOC: Go ahead, just remember, him and Morgoth are still bro's.

IC: Morgoth smiled in anticipation of the little army that was charging up the stairs right now. They broke through the doorway. Morgoth did his best warcry, even though it paled in comparison to Thorr's. With the warcry, he charged like a mad man into the melee and began to cut them into ribbons. He was quickly joined by the others.

Orenda

Orenda followed the warriors making sure that she stayed back from the front of battle. She was a magic user not a warrior. She used fire and lightening bolts to help her companions mow a path through the minions.

"Dont forget to save someone with a few brains to ask about prisoners," She called out to them as she worked.

OCC: Okaypeople, a VERY large hoard of undead will hit our party from behind and Ralcair, who is at the back, burns out all his power in order to save everyone from being totally annialated. If this is bad, just say so, and we will all pretend that I never wrote it.

IC: Ralcair had kept himself back from the front lines in fear of being cleaved by the barbarion or skewered by the paladin. It was very good luck that he happened to look over his shoulder and spot a large group of skeletons and other demons charging the back of the group! Quickly turning, he channeled his magic into several bone spears bones. Although one or two craetures feel, many did not even flinch and they were only about 11 meters away! Quickly spawning a bone wall across the hall, he snatched blindly into his dark magic, searching for something he did not have. Suddenly, all the power he had gathered exploded in a ball of flame and energy, throwing him against the wall. All the undead were killed in an instant. Ralair slowly sat up. He felt..empty........

Orenda

Looking back to the melee behind them, Orenda sees Ralcair thrown against the wall as a burst of magic leaves him. Hurrying over to his side, she checks to make sure that there are no serious injuries and then slides her arm around his shoulders, helping him to his feet.

"Hurry," She says to him as he leans on her,"We have to get out of here. You can lean on me until you regain your strength."

Alic sliced through the undead and other creatures that were coming at them in several waves. As he cut into the mass he was glad that he had his full strength back as it would be impossible to fight this large a group. He then called out the name of his god and a pure white light shot out everywhere, hitting the undead which began screaming out in pain.

Thorr

Seeing that the others had the battle well in hand, and it would soon be over, the barbarian chops the tops off of the skulls of a couple of nearby monsters, scoops out the contents and runs back up to the waiting sorceress.

"Hokay, pretty lady. Brains!"

Orenda

OOC: LMAO..Neale you are a riot!

IC: Orenda was startled by the barbarian's appearance and almost dropped Ralcair when she saw what he had in his hands. Trying to get her composure back, she takes a couple of deep breaths.

"Ummm..big guy? I kind of need the brains to be...Oh, nevermind. Look I need someone who is alive so I can talk to him or her. Ok? Do you understand?" She didnt give much hope but she tried anyway.

Alic laughed at Thorr's actions before he turned back to the undead creatures, seeing one that was a leader. He turned to Morgoth and pointed to the creature who looked at him with wide eyes. Alic ran towards the creature but before he could reach it several ghouls moved in front of him and blocked his path. With a shout Alic ran at the ghouls and swung his sword at them, slicing them down only to have several others replace the ones that he had cut down.

Thorr

"Oops."
Thorr walks away, confused, as ever. "She said brains? Not want brains. Want talk? Oh, yeah!" He brightens, memory struggling to surface. "Talk to badguy, find sister. Right. Talk to badguy. Hokay!"
With a cheerful grin, the big barbarian sheathed Giant-Cleaver, and dove down the stairs toward the remaining leader-type monster, crashing into the large creature and tackling it as it tried to flee the mass of armored warrior bearing down upon it. Several of the creature's bones snapped in the collision, but it wasn't dead. Sitting atop the feebly struggling form, Thorr calls out to Orenda, "Hokay! He talk now. Think he said get off, or fuck off, or maybe gurglegurgle. Me not speak badguy well."

Orenda

Orenda hastily set Ralcair against the wall and hurried down the stairs to get to the creature before Thor's weight managed to cut off his supply of air permanently.

Waiving Thor off of him with a smile, Orenda knelt down by the minion who looked like an orc but had been bashed around by the barbarian so much, she wasnt going to bet on it.

"Okay, I want to know where the witch is holding my sister captive. Where is she hidden?" The orc just looked at her with defiance in his eyes.

Orenda sighed,"I dont have time for this," She said,"If you dont talke I am going to have my large friend here come take a comfortable-for him-seat again. Now are you going to answer me?"

The orc's eyes widened and he looked from Orenda to Thor and back again but still said nothing. Waiving Thor over to her, she saw his eyes widen even more if that was possible and he blurted out. "In a secret room in the dungeon. It is disguised to look like part of the wall between the fourth and fifth torches but only my mistress had the words to open it!"

The terror on his face convinced Orenda that he was speaking the truth and she stood up and held her hand against Thor's chest to stop him from finishing what he had begun. The creature was not going to last much longer anyway.

"To the dungeon then," She said,"Though I dont know how we are going to open that secret room but I know I am going to give it all I have."

OOC: Anyone know if the other sorceress and the amazon are still with us? If not than we can say she died before we could rescue her. Any ideas? Anybody?

OOC: I am still up to play Eliah, just counldn't really do anything without someone bringing me back into the flipping story... I was post locked because I was waiting on MoneyTalks... She never showed back up so I sorta faded out. If you all would be so kind as to bring my back into the action I will return...

OOC: Wonderful, Ravenloft. What if we find you in the secret room?

OOC: would it be alright if I joined as an amazon using a sword instead of a bow or spear?

OCC: JEEZ! YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE HOW MANY TIMES I WAS SLAUGHTERED ON THE FEEDBACK PAGE! WELL SCREW THOSE A$$HOLES! Even Ravenloft had to bad post me! *SIGH*, well it only goes to say I should just go back to reading instead of posting..Well, this will be my last post for a VERY long time, so farewell everyone...:)

DEAD AND GONE

Thorr

ooc: Another amazon should be welcome, especially as our 2nd necromancer seems to have removed himself. I cannot speak for the others, but, as for myself, I bid you welcome, milady.

"Finished talking now? Hokay." Seeing that Orenda had turned away, and was going towards the passageway leading downward, to the secret chamber wherein her sister was being held, the massive barbarian stepped casually on the orc leader's throat, crushing it instantly.

OOC: Doubt ya will see this but I feel I should clairify for you Necro... I have no hard feelings against you, it was my way of being funny is all... That and you did, ever so slightly, go balistic... I like it when people say they like my writing, I really do, don't hear it much, but I like it at any rate. Its just hard to accept when in the very next breath the fine fellow that stated his piece unleashes verbal hell upon the masses...

Ah well, at any rate, over there in the feedback forum, those are a diferent lot... I only saw the thread becasue I do searches for my handle to keep up on everything that pertains to me. *Eagle eyes, er, raven eyes that is...*

Back to the thread though, still waiting uppon my reintroduction...

Alic stood there and said the words to a prayer, smiling when he felt it take effect. He then looked at everyone and decided that they had to get to the dungeon and rescue the virgins because that is what they came here for in the first place. Before anyone could say a word he rushed down the stairs, cutting through the creatures that were waiting for him, slicing through them with his sword that was glowing with a pure white light. As soon as some of the creatures saw the paladin running at them they ran the other way but some of the stupid ones ran straight at him.

Orenda

Orenda hurried over the the door that lead down to the dungeon. Hurrying down the steps, she quickly left the din of the fight behind her. Counting out the torches, she paused when she came to the space between the third and fourth and stood there looking at the wall.

Well, if she didnt know the spell, maybe one of her own would open up the wall for her. Making a lightening bolt in her hands similar to the one she had blasted the door with, she built it up and let fly. She had to cover her head and eyes as it blasted against the wall. When she took her hand away, she saw...nothing. The spell had no effect.

"Damn!," She said out loud,"It must be magically protected." Looking up to where the fighting was going on, she wondered if the Paladin could do anything. His power came from his god-not magic persay. It just might work.

Thorr

Stepping over the corpse of the orc, Thorr headed after Orenda.

"Alic! Any more not-dead-yet guys over there?" Catching sight of the holy light emitted by Alic's sword, he saw his friend mowing down foes like wheat before a scythe. "Hey! Save me some!" With a bloodcurdling yell, the mighty barbarian joined the fray.

"We all through talking now?" His only response from Alic was a tight grin and a nod. "Hokay! Giant-Cleaver!" With broad sweeps of his massive sword, Thorr waded into battle, blood and ichor flying everywhere.

In remarkably short order, he and Alic cleared the area. The undead monsters, who knew no fear, were destroyed. The few orcs scattered amongst them knew fear, but didn't run quite quickly enough.

"Damn. No more. Just getting warmed up!" All thoughts of battle were banished from his simple mind once more, as Orenda came back from her investigation of the secret door. "Hello, pretty lady! No more brains, hokay?"

Orenda

Orenda smiled up at the barbarian and said,"You said it, big guy."

Turning to Alic she said,"The secret entrance is blocked from magic but maybe not to your god-care to try?"

"I can but try but I would ask if you could all stand back please as this well probably create a loud explosion."

As soon as everyone stood back Alic looked at the wall and said the words to a prayer that he hoped would work. He closed his eyes and started to speak the words louder as he felt the power as it went towards the door.

There was suddenly a loud explosion that ripped through the room and when Alic opened his eyes he saw that there was now a large hole in the wall.

Orenda

OOC: I am going to assume that our other sorceress is gone so I am going to play it that way. Maybe that we are too late to save her.

IC: I nodded, impressed, at Alic and hurried over to where the hole revealed a large room with chains hanging from the walls. There was only one figure there-a lovely amazon woman. She looked up as I entered and I saw her eyes narrow at me as if trying to figure out if I was friend or foe.

Hurrying over to her, I began to use a fire spell to melt through the chains that held her to the wall. "It is okay," I said trying to smile reassuringly to her,"I am a friend. I am looking for my sister sorceress. Have you seen her? Do you know where she is at?"

Thorr

Thorr steps into the room, following Orenda and Alic. He sees that Elias is chained to the wall, and not in very good shape. When Orenda raises her hands to cast a spell on the chains, Thorr steps forward and simply grabs a chain where it meets the wall. With much rippling of his legendary muscles, the chain comes away from the wall with a shower of granite fragments. Moments later, the other chain is also ripped free.

"All better now, El! Where virgins?"
