Diablo 2(for the uninitiated, there will be, once again, guidelines)

Orenda

Orenda moves back as Thor rips the Amazon's chains from the wall. Shaking her head, she steps back up and uses the fire to get the manicles from her hand. As they drop, she takes out her salve and rubs some onto the woman's wrists to help ease the pain of being chained.

"I take it you know them," She says to Elias. "My name is Orenda and I was sent to rescue one of my sisters. She is a novice and not up to handling the witch who-used to-own this castle but, thanks to your friends is dead now."

"I am just worried I did not arrive in time."

Morgoth watched in satisfaction as Thorr ripped out the wall. "Good job, Thorr", he said. He stepped inside, and there were virgins everywhere. He saw Eliah, and ran over to her. HE cut her chains.

Eliah:

Once Orenda spoke to identify herself Eliah's eyes filled with sorrow and pain. "The sorceress was bled..." She croaked in disgust as the images of what the foul servants of the countess had done to her flitted behind her eyes. The horror of it was enough to numb Eliah's awarness of the men, Thorr and Morgoth with their show to impress her with their might and their skills... She collapsed back against the cold wall she had been chained to and sunk slowly down, her eyes glazed as they stared out into nothing. She had seen the young sorceress slit open, gutted. Eliah's stomach turned and her hand went to her lips to fight back the urgh to empty her stomach.

Orenda

Orenda almost dropped the container of salve she was holding. She couldnt believe her ears but she was forced to believe the sorrow on the amazon's face.

Dropping on her knees beside the woman, she bowed her head and let tears of sorrow for her sister fall from her eyes. She had failed. She had failed in her mission and a young innocent with much potential had been taken by evil.

Her head lifted and she placed a shaking had on the woman's shoulders. "I am sorry you had to witness what had to be a horrible death. I am sorry we did not get here sooner."

Alic stood there and looked at Eliah, seeing how much pain she was in and he wanted to go to her but at the same time he knew that he shouldn't. He walked back out into the dungeon and stood there, his right hand gripping the hilt of his sword tightly. He had come here on the hope of killing the countess, freeing the tower of evil and rescuing everyone there but he had failed to do that. He looked down at his hand and the sword that he carried and wondered what good he was to the group.

Morgoth stepped outside and placed a hand on Alic's shoulder reassuringly. "Don't worry, Alic. No one can stop all evil or horror in this world. We did our best, and that's all there is to it. We saved the majority of the virgins, at least", he said calmly.

Eliah:

The feel of Orenda's shaking hand upon her shoulder brought Eliah out of her shock and sorrow. She fixed Orenda with a look or bitter resolve. "The Countess has been delt with?" The manner in which she she spoke made it clear that her heart was throbbing with the need for vengence.

Thorr

"Evil Cuntess dead, Eliah. No more hurt nobody. Ever." Even the ever-cheerful barbarian's demeanor was subdued. They were the good guys, and they always won, right? The glory of victory turned ashen in their mouths, as they shared in Orenda's sorrow over her sister's brutal death.

Thorr then turned to the other women awaiting to be freed from durance vile. Swiftly, the chains binding them were dealt with. Obviously, the Countess had never intended them to be freed from these shackles, for they had no locks, but were welded shut around the captive's wrists. Many a delicate young wrist would bear the marks of their time here.

Orenda

Orenda looked at Thor and then at Eliah and nodded. "She has indeed been taken care of but there are others out there that are just as bad if not worse than her."

"I..I would like to join you if you will have me. I may not have been able to save my sister but I can try to help those like her to avoid her fate." Her mouth took on a weary grin. "Dramatic I know but the desire is real."

Eliah:

Eliah's eyes burned, she was fightning tears. She would rather give herself over to rage than sorrow, it was an emotion she knew how to handle... "Darker things do creep the shadows of this world, I will see my vengence placed upon their heads..." Eliah hissed as she turned away, she began to search for her hard won gear that had been stripped from her when she had first been brought here.

Morgoth stepped back inside the room. "Now, I have little doubt that we will be captured again by Diablo's minions, bit if we do, do not hesitate to commit suicide. The torture Diablo would have for you would be far worse", he said, looking them straight in the eyes, his eyes meeting their's one by one.

"I will never kill myself- it is against my beliefs. I would rather fight to the death than kill myself," Alic said.

He looked at Morgoth and knew that he was making a valid point but he would never do as Morgoth had asked. It would cost him his place at his god's side and he would not let that happen at any cost.

Orenda

"I too will die fighting," Orenda said to the necromancer as she came up behind him and Alec. "I will throw my last ounce of energy at into my last spell before I give up. Where there is life there is hope, Necromancer."

Walking past him, and out of the den of evil she added,"The Paladin is right. We need to fight while there still exists life in us."

Alic turned to Orenda and gave her a strained smile. She seemed to be so strong even though she had found out her sister had just died. He walked over to her and looked at her, "I will help you to avenge your sister's death, even if it means going after Diablo himself. I know that it will never bring your sister back but I will do anything that I can to help."

Eliah:

Eyeing Morgoth with a fair amount of distain for his words, Eliah pushed past him, donning her gear. With Blastbark strung over her shoulder and across her chest Eliah looked about the room to find all the captive virgins had been freed. "We must see that you all return to the safty of your families." She spoke loud and clear. Eliah came to stand next to Orenda, turning her eyes toward the sorceress for the briefest of moments.

Orenda

Orenda smiled at Alec. "Your words lend me comfort, Paladin, and I am sure that your god looks favorably on you for your strength in the face of such dire words."

Her eyes turn to catch Eliah's glance and she tries to send the message that the amazon's sorrow is understood. "I want to thank all of you for the effort you put forth to rescue those trapped here. I know that my sister would appreciate it were she alive now."

"No, you misunderstand my words", said Morgoth. "I did not mean to pointlessly impale yourself upon some weapon or to cut your own throat with a falchion. I meant to send all of your energy into one attack. The attack that takes down as many of them as possible, but stops your vital organs. Stoping the organs is necessary, or Diablo will simplyr ressurect you. It is proven. We have studied it", said the necromancer irately. "These people. Why do they constantly misinterpret us and mistrust us?" he thought in his mind. "Becase you are a necromancer", he answered his own question in his mind.

Alic turned to Morgoth when he heard the words that he had said and smiled. "I have heard of this myself but I have never seen it done and I do not think that I wish to have it done to me. Now, we have to get out of here and take these virgins to their homes and then find someone else to vanquish. Does that sound like a good plan to you at all?"

Orenda

Orenda nodded and said,"Anything is preferable to standing around and talking of our own demise when it has not come yet."

Stepping out, she headed back over the battlefield and toward some kind of civilization.

"Yes, the Rogu Encampment does seem to be a more positive choice than this tower", said Morgoth casually. He strapped Loath Wrack to his back again, and walked out of the tower, heading towards the encampment.

Thorr

"We go now, pretty ladies. Thorr the Mighty, and friends, has rescued you. Safe now. We go to camp and drink ale. Thorr make sure no Evil virgin-hunter gets you ever again. Hokay!"

The much larger group made their way back to the encampment. Some warmer clothing and footwear had to be scrounged from the Countess'es castle, as many of the ladies had lost their clothing to the depravations of their imprisonment. Fortunately, none of the remaining monsters wanted anything more than to flee the area with their lives.

Eliah:

Following the party and the resqued virgins Eliah stayed silent, her eyes held a steely resolve. Her jaw clenched with every step.

Orenda

Orenda walked along with her new companions and all the giggling women around them who kept glancing over at the barbarian and paladin and then whispering among themselves. Her mind was whirling with what had happened in such a short time. She did not know how yet but she was determined to get to the root source of evil in this thing and help destroy it so that the assault on innocence would be stopped.

They arrived at last at the encampment, and Morgoth immediately went to Charsi. He needed to get his repaired and needed to get some potions. He sighed as he dropped his armor off with her. The torchlight reflected off his handsome, sweaty features as he walked to his tent.

OOC: Sorry I haven't entered like I said I would I had the flu but I'm ready now let me know if I do this wrong I"m new at this :)

IC: Siren leaned against the side of Charsi's blacksmith building and watching Morgoth as he dropped off his armor, from the look of it he had been in a pretty intense battle. Curiously her eyes follow him as he leaves looking him over. Her full lips curve into a smile as she appreciates the view, she then shakes her head and walks over to Charsi "Who is he" she asked trying to hide the interest in her voice but failing. Charsi smiled knowingly " His name is Morgoth , Why do you ask?" Siren shrugged "just curious I suppose" Siren ran her hand through her auburn hair thinking "Oh well he probably wouldn't be interested in an Amazon" Her mind whispered to her that technically she wasn't an Amazon, her tribe had kicked her out saying that they didn't need someone so undisciplined hanging around. She sighed softly then brushing away the painful memories she glanced around noticing that the big barbarian known as Thorr was once again looking for ale. She smiled at his antics then turned her attention back to Charsi.
