If the Kurds weren't radical left wing terrorist....I doubt the 'progressive' left would be throwing a fit.

They have been dismantled in detail. Are there surviving remnants here and there, yes. Are they combat effective, does the residual level of the effectiveness threaten the national security of the United States, no.

The House has no constitutional role in foreign relations, except to vote for or against $$ required to fund the President's wishes re foreign affairs/treaties. The Speaker and all other House members with her (regardless of political party) are globe trotting out of their constitutional lane, on the taxpayers dime. Maybe someone will report how much $$ the Speaker required for liquor supplies this trip? Nevertheless, you will keep us up-to-date on her unconstitutional negotiation progress with the übermisogynic warlords in Afghanistan, won't you? Thanks.

I may be a fool, but I doubt that "escaping Daesh militants" are a threat to our security. They may be a problem for France. They need to figure out what to do with those Daesh militants and their families.
