Idaho sounds a lot like Leicester

too true Mark, Idaho is the middle of the usa and there is a cross
of accents..
Im always amazed when i hear of "stars" moving there..... why?

whats the matter DLL you seemed a bit confused at WALMART
surely you have been there? I was there once.

Hugs have a great day.
Mindy

but they speak alot nicer in Leicester :)

After you have visited the place then you might want to readjust this statement
Not all of them speak the Queens English like what I do

LOL Mark there are so distintic sounds in leicester that I grant you
but most of it comes from the old way of talking..

I like northern england accents. Im not amused with the Queens english.

but i like the queens people. :cathappy:

You are spot on Mindy, listening to some of the older generation talking can be quite amusing, there is one leicester'ism that is smile worthy- "ey up mi duck"
You have to hear it to get the full meaning but hey

Will be back in the UK in 2 weeks (4th time in the last 12 months) but will be 'stuck' in London for the duration.

Hey, maybe I will see the queen while I am there! Think she hangs out at the pub????

London you say???? perhaps a stop at a certain London store will be possible???

dcraz she does hang out at a pub
its in liverpoole on the docks and she wears a blonde wig...
and long earrings. her stockings rolled to the knees.
of course she has that pocket book of hers...
and theres a Limo in front of the bar...
just go in and squeeze her bum she loves it...

Nothing like a little inside tip to point me in the right direction.

Of course, if I don't recognize her right away, I will just start squeezing all the bums. I'm sure I will be forgiven for any mistaken squeezes ;) Especially if I offer my own bum in return???

very cool dc  .. :rose:
when do you go back to London?? :rose:

Headed back across the pond next weekend.

Been there many time, but as always, I will be looking forward to exploring the town, riding the underground, minding the gap, waving to the queen, watching some real football, swinging by Westminster Abbey, getting down on some bangers and mash, maybe some fish and chips, a few rounds at the pub and maybe even a bit of shopping. ;).

Oh yea. I have some work to do while I am there too...
