Hiya MM !!
I find politics and all those that swim in those infested , infected and unhealthy sewers totally untrustworthy. It matters not to me whether they be American , British or whatever , to me , the goal of these people is the power that office brings. They might start with wonderful ideals , but in my experience , and my reading of history , they become tarnished and dishonest.
I paused for 10 minutes after typing the paragraph above , wondering whether I should erase it , but i've chosen not to. I don't have especially strong views on many topics - but the grubby world of politicians and their platitudes , evasions and outright lies make my blood boil !
Simply put , I wouldn't trust Bush , Kerry , Blair or Mbeke as far as I can spit. That the masses accept this system without question and the failings of these people leaves me cold. Democracy is a dream and whilst the people in power see fit in how "their" (meaning the one they've managed to take power over) democracy will work , then they will prosper.
This isn't an assault on your country , but on all countries that brainwash the masses into thinking they count.
That last beer must have brought out the anarchist in me !
Hope I didn't upset anyone here - or worse still , bore you.
Good Morning Everybody
