I'm at UCT matey!! I've got my ticket for the test starting Jan 2nd Harmy and Freddie will stir up the locals !! I've been a cricket fantatic for nigh on 40 years and it's SO good to see England coming right - it's been a hellish 18 years or so !!

My feelings are England to win the series 2-0 with 3 draws - I just can't see SA taking 20 wickets in any of the tests.

Durban is the best result wicket here now - Newlands is a little pacier than about 8 years ago , but Wanderers is dead flat now - very disappointing track

How long is it since you were out here - CT has changed , but the lovely ladies haven't !!

I hope your team wins. It looks like Bush will win this election, at the moment. That is a bigger game. The younger folks have a lot more in this election than I do. Good luck. Read history, for instance the 1930's.

I wish I thought it was an FDR instead of a Hoover getting in...

A LONG time.......close to 18 years. The group I used to work for had an interest in a (pty) in the Republic...........

But I used to LOVE the sherry............and the ladies!

I always used to like a consistent bounce on a track (Member of the Wicketkeepers Union, here), although some wickets manage that even when cracked!

Anyway, I'd better stop talking cricket, or the ladies will think we are utterly mad!

In MI for example, alot of folks lost jobs, and yet they will vote for the president that headed the administration, that didn't do much about it because they thought women's right to abortion, or men marrying men, or women marringing women for that matter, was more important than jobs. Go figure.

I could turn out a passable offbreak, but was medium pace swing/seamer usually....HOWEVER, I spent most of the time behind the timbers (and batting anywhere from 1 to 4).

LOL, Pete. (you are Pete, right? I'm the other one). Anyway, I'm looking to emigrate if the guy that is less than clever than your dog continues to be the President of the United States. It doesn't look like sout africa is in the cards. I think Australia looks good or Holland, but the weather is shity.
