Right here goes:

I do it by going to google.com and selecting an image, copy the address of the image eg: http://www.perfectpeople.net/media/celebs/1337/82236-1056734702.jpg

Then in post a reply I click on the IMG button just above where you type your reply, paste the address there, click ok and hey presto!

Probably because judging by the link you gave the address of a whole web page rather than just a picture.

If you use google then select images before searching, enter your search criteria which will bring up a page of smallish pictures. Click on the one you like and another page will be displayed with just that image at the top. There is usually a link there which says "see full size image". Click on that link and then copy and paste the web address from your browser into you Lit post.
