Do - Do - Do - Lookin' Out My Backdoor...

With all the great pic threads, I thought something a little closer to home might be nice. If you walked out your door, what beautiful things would you see, that make you love where you live.

This is what I saw this morning, out my front window.

THIS morning I would see 3 horses straight out in the pasture field with grass still up to their bellies. I would see the row of maples that line the laneway between that field and the yard, with all their leaves changing and falling. Then I would see the yard, all covered in burnt oranges and yellow leaves covering the ground and the abandoned toys littering the play area. I would see a lone black walnut tree in the middle of that yard - massive in size, and the tire swing I push my boy on. All in the background I would hear the soft bawling of cows and calves in the pasture to the left.

I love the look of this place, no matter what window or doorway I gaze out of.
