This is my general defination for each. Other's may vary, but these are mine:

A fuck buddy is someone you only see inside the bedroom. You don't know much more about them then they're names, kinks, turn on's, etc. Your entire relationship revolves using one another as sex toys. You meet up, shag one another silly, and go home.

A friend with benefits is someone you know better. They're a friend, you talk to them on a regular basis, go out with them to movies, etc, hang around in groups, and do all the things you and your other friends do. However you also have sex with one another. No strings, meaningless, uncomplicated, sex. You could be talking on the phone about a problem, or just gabbing or whatever and then one mentiones that they're horny, the other says the same, you meet up, shag like rabbits, and then do the friend thing again.

That about sums it up for my definations. However if someone wishes to come along and give better ones, or their own definations feel free

One of my best friends refueses to have or look for a fuck buddy, because he's one of those people whom believe that sex should be a meaningful act between two people who cherrish one another and are in a relationship.
