Wasn't that just a name change though, not an actual separate account? I thought you had the PreggoHottie changed to HottieMama by the admins. It is possible to have a name changed, you don't HAVE to create a new account if you don't want to!

I am also the type where if I can't say it with this name, I just don't say it at all. So just because I'm not snarky very often doesn't mean I'm not thinking it in my head, I just don't post it!

If i got my name changed by the admins and someone searched HottieMama...would my posts still show up? Too many non-Litsters know this name and i would like to be able to post "freely" without worrying about who is going to read it.

You'd show as the new name... and your previous posts would associate with the new name. Old name wouldn't be there. Whether it would also probably be available for use again.... i don't know. Depends on how Lauren and Manu have it set up.

I created an alt a few years ago when I thought that someone had compromised my anonymity. Everyone here who was a regular acquaintance knew of the new name but after a while I determined that I could go back to my original and haven't used the other account in years. I do also use a different Lit account for my stories here using the same pseudonym that I attach to erotica that I submit elsewhere.

I have learned that the less sexual you appear on Lit, the less likely you are to get those annoying pms. Thats just what I found that works for me.

Recently I had another AV after retiring my Halloween AV, I was able to keep it just over a week before returning to the Lochai Art which I have currently displayed. The other AV appeared to induce are real change in the sorts of unsolicited contact I was exposed to . Hyper sexual and fairly damn annoying in content.

Seems it is easier now than it used to be. I know of a few who have requested it and been granted a new name instead of having to start a new account.
