Yep, I've been a fan of the wayback machine for many years! There was a period when they basically didn't do ANY updates, and everybody was sad, so they brought updates back!

Unfortunately I can't remember the address of my VERY first webpage back in 1996. It was just a list of links about deafness, and my goal was to catalog all of the sites about deafness, because back then you actually had a chance of doing something like that! I did it for a school project...back in 1996, creating a dumb webpage was fancy-pantsy new technology and if you used it you got an A!

The second one seems to be a better choice due to backgrounds and contrast, but I also like the current one. There's a vibrancy there, both visually and emotionally.

Could I try it? With your permission I'd love to use that image as an av for a while and see what happens. I love the image. It brings back several good memories for me. Please let me know.

LOL So many people call me gracie that sometimes if someone calls that name in public I almost turn to look. Gracie and my real name are. . . they're my names. LOL I answer to both.

Oh, I have answered to Etoile for yeeeeeears. I first adopted the name in 1995, and people have called me that in person since 1997 or 1998 or so. (Prior to that my mom wouldn't let me meet anybody off the internet!)

Well, very few people call me Homburg in RL, though I'll porbably start using it as a scene name.
