Do you look for anyone in particular?

I've been coming to Literotica on and off for over two years now, and have always enjoyed talking with the many people that frequent these pages.

Sometimes I actually take time to get to know someone better, either by PMing them or writing an email. Of course most of the time I just chat within the pages themselves, it's surprising what you can learn.

We all have so many likes and dislikes where partners are concerned, so what do you look for if your reading the boards on Lit? Assuming you're looking of course.

I've never been actively "looking". . .although I have found a few good friends, one of which evolved into a real life meeting (which was absolutely wonderful!). I rarely instigate contact with someone, and when I do it is usually because I wanted to respond to a post on a more private level. I respond to PMs that I think are sincere and honest.

Being here is very much like real life. Sometimes you find a new friend, while others are merely acquaintences.

I usually look for something really HOT!!! Or something funny. Occasionally I'll go to the philosophical threads, but many of them are boring. (Sorry, but that's my opinion.)

I sometimes hunt for some of my favorite Lit. friends in some of the "gathering places", the cafes, bars, and parties that make up a large section of the playground.

Personally Cutie, I've connected twice with those I found to be a pleasure to talk to. It never reached as far as meeting them or anything as special as that, but I'm still proud to call them my friends.

I must admit I would like to meet the ONE, if you know what I mean. As to whether it will ever happen here, who knows it just might do.

In the mean time I'm happy to go on making friends, and perhaps sharing in some of their day to day lives.

I have discovered that you will find the ONE when you least expect it. . .be it here or in "real life". I would much rather just have fun here and make friends. . .of which I have made several that I truly cherish and who have proven to be true friends during my trials and tribulations of the past few weeks.

:rose:  :rose: to new friends. . . .

If you'd like something hot KHAN-E, do a search for a thread I started called "Love and all that it entails" on the main board. Check out the last page where I wrote a story (unrehearsed) it was pretty hot stuff. lol

Enjoy.

Hmmm Very good thread! *S* I wouldn't say I'm "looking" for anything in particular. I do like honest and open people to chat with. People that aren't afraid to voice their opinions but keep other people's feelings in mind as well. Beauty is only skin deep. What makes a person truely beautiful is what's on the inside. I tend to lean more towards the threads with humor and person contact(not just sexual). I do talk on the more personal serious subjected threads as well. I like to look for people that have "heart". I've gotten to know a lot of people here and love to chat here. That's why I stay. I do enjoy the sexual play, but also the conversations that can hit deep territory. It's about the best theropy there is for me! I don't come here looking for love. Too much to sort out. If I find it....it would be wonderful. I'm more or less looking for friends.

Everything you just said ShiningEyes, felt like it was written by me. I think I look for friendship long before any relationship, because for me getting to know someone is far more important than knowing their bust size or passing pictures to and fro.

To all those that have made friends within these pages, it's good to know someone special isn't it.

Pictures put a face to the name and person you are typing to. I can sometimes see a person to their soul when I look them in the eyes. Me personally...I do not let looks get in the way of me getting to know a person for WHO they are. Personality, spirit, heart, knowledge is what really counts. How a person treats me will go further than how a person looks. Friendship isn't built on looks. It's built on other things. The things that people take for granted. A true friend if one that will be there no matter what happens or doesn't happen for that matter, will let you cry on their shoulder and listen to you when no other will. A true friend will also not care what you look like or what you have to offer. True friends last a life time.

Never a truer word spoken.

Sometimes I don't even want a picture of the person I am chatting with. I would rather envision what they look like in my head(of course they normally are some version of Helen Hunt). But then there are other times where you just have to see who is typing what to you.

I think that's true if what they're typing is designed to get you going, as in horny, because visuals can and do help at play time. When it's just a friend who wants a chat now and again, it doesn't seem that important to me what they look like.

Up until now I only have six people on my yahoo chat, I have seen a picture of each of them, but only because we mutually wanted to swap, not that it was neccessary.

Sometimes of course you need to see someone's face, mainly because you're having deep feelings for that person. It's only natural therefore to want to see that individual.

I look for my friends......

their threads...I like to have fun and talk...I go to Wildrose's Thread because it is a family type of thing and different people come in and it is nice to talk...then there is Jewelz's thread with the words...I sometimes talk but most of the time it is posting the words and answering them....and there are alot more threads I post in but some I just look in and I might say hi....I look on the General Board to see what is new or different or in Am.pic.feedback to see pics...:p I love to flirt, laugh, talk and have fun....:) Things on a sexual nature if it is serious I do in private...:p :p

Well said but if I am just chatting with someone and it degenerates into cyber time....which is rare for me anyways....I really don't need a picture. I prefer the visuals in my head. Example....Jewelz voice just gets me going....don't know what she looks like but I got a good visual right now.

If it is someone that I've gotten to know a lot better and care about then yes I do want to see a picture.

I must admit 1sexylady, I love to flirt. Although I think some people tend to go a little too far, which for me spoils the mood.

As for serious sexual talking, it is so much better when you can just concentrate on that one person and not worry what anyone else is thinking.

shhhh we don't want her to get a big head you know....lol.

ohh too late...you are making me blush...thank you both so much! I have always hated my voice but since finding Lit, so many men tell me they get hot hearing it...really makes me feel good!

what or who do I look for?

I don't really look for anything except threads that interest me. I have electic tastes so I do find a wide variety to respond to. I like word play so threads like The Love Cafe (which has lots of friendly fun people), the Person Below Me Game are right up my alley. I am not looking for the One, but I like the people I am meeting and getting to know.... both males and females...

Re: what or who do I look for?

I look for........

things that catch my eye or interest at the time im on here. Be that a fun thread to play in, a pic that arouses the senses or something/ someone who always makes me laugh. I keep my eye open for those i have become friendly with both male & female....basically i am here to look for a little fun as i have already found the ONE....

What do I look for?

The clever brain, the sexy voice, twinkly eyes.... and the ability to send a shiver down my spine at a moment's notice.

Nope..I'm not looking for anyone in particular. If they "catch" my eye so to speak I'll go along and see what happens.
