Does Anyone on Lit Know Your Real Name?

Kilroy was here

Do you now why people started writing that everywhere?

The story I heard was it was during the second world war. A kind of joke from American troops that whichever far flung places they went to, Kilroy had been there first.

Well it's Keith, so the answer is yes... if referring to last names then not to my knowledge although back in the days of yahoo games (anyone here familiar with the infamous bunny room in backgammon?) there were plenty of hackers who could find out anyone's name/address/family members etc.. so maybe?

Denny---------- The way I heard it this is sort of how it kept going.
I read that Kilroy was the counter and inspecter during the Rosie the Riveter era. He counted the rivets which was how the riveters got paid. Then signed his name.

I know a little about a lot but not much about anything.

Some do.
I only let people in when I become good friends with them.
No offence to anyone, but I've been burned some so I try to be more careful.

I've only ever used my real first name with people. Last name - no current posters. Besides, I'm not that formal.
