I’m hoping he’ll be able to swipe a bottle and get caught by Vin due to mannerisms/sneakiness with the pills.

Just curious, how is he going to get more of it? Like I actually don't know a whole lot about it except for what I've heard around the community from ex addicts, but is it like a narcotic? Where it's in pills and he'll have to look for it that way?

<.< It's very dangerous. It's like heroin, but it's more of a potent pharmaceutical version. It causes relaxation, pain relief, and euphoria. The reason it's so dangerous is that the ratio of what it's cut with can be real fucked if you're not careful. It's hard to know what it's mixed with on the street and that can get deadly fast. It is sold legally to those who actually need it though. Angelique can afford the good shit, so it's not as dangerous as what one might find in the market. She has a bottle of it that he'll steal, but he doesn't know much about drugs, so he would have no idea how to get more afterwards other than trying to find it at a pharmacy.

Oooh okay, that makes a lot of sense. I imagine Cora will be able to pick up that something is wrong with him, but she'll likely be too scared to go to Quint about it, so maybe she'll ask Vin for help and then he'll pick up on it.

Okay, so, I can't decide on what to do for a dream sequence. Is there anything you want to learn about? Since most of Quint's dreams are more memory based?

Perhaps the two of them will conspire together! Sayori will be none-the-wiser, but I'm sure Quint would pick up on it too, especially when Damien's pupils get big for no reason and his sweat smells... illicit.

Hm hm hm... How about a memory having to do with how Sarah saved them from Kuznet? Or maybe just a fun memory of the three of them from high school?

So, Margaret monitors him to make sure a guy doesn't get close to him romantically. She knows he's gay, so she's extra wary of guys. However, she thought that Artemis was a girl from the name, so he slipped through the cracks and was around Sabastian a lot. Something Artemis did really upset Sabastian, though they were generally not on good terms in general. Angelique found something in that text that triggered her possessive rage. If they were dating, she may have been somewhat pissed and annoyed, but this was offensive to her.

Hum hum, that is a good point, the boy having those extra senses now...hmm. How to do it without Quint going full on protec mode. I don't know what you have in store while they're still with Angelique, but I imagine that he'll be able to smell it in his system while they are still under capture? Maybe this could play into that later, and depending on a little interaction I really want to have between Delvin and Quint, the funny boi might be able to let our nomad handle things

kk, sorry I couldn't get another post in before you went to bed but I'm going to start now. I think I might be able to do a bit of a mix of both of what you said for a dream sequence, but it may be a bit choppy and/or kind of fast track through a few scenes spanning over a few years. But we could totally leave room for Sabastian to ask questions while they are still in snooze land

I've been trying to really hammer out the details as far as how she 'saved' them, but I didn't want to make it so complicated that it's difficult to keep up plotwise. So I went with two major things:

Sarah was extremely smart and actually managed to piss Kuznet off in some very subtle ways that I would love to write out later, perhaps in another dream sequence, but I was thinking maybe more a memory with Cora whenever she has a chance to sit and just daydream for a moment, recanting her old life before everything changed. Nothing too crazy, just probably a little thing that, now that she's an adult, can get a different perspective on.

And two, I was thinking that her dad was not only rich, but more akin to a bit how Damien has generational wealth, and her father might have even had done some kind of shady weapons deals with the General at one point. I was thinking this could be a reason that Sarah would have been smart around him, maybe having dug into her dads files at one point and saw the big guy on some paperwork. And then from there I'm thinking she became very close with the twins, and then over the years started sneaking money here and there, possibly from both parents (haven't hammered out her mom just yet, but I was going to make her more just a regular rich lady, maybe something in fashion, but not doing anything too crazy with her life), and slowly building them an alternate life with fake I.D.'s and such in preparation for Kuznet being killed off. So that when it happened, she was ready to help them rebuild.

So that's where I'm at with that. No crazy spy shenanigans, as the only real thing she could offer was resources. But that's what they would have needed the most after being freed.

@Drobabes: Yeah, Quint will likely pick up on it at Angelique's if he gets to see Damien. Though maybe when they leave he thinks that Damien's smell is just the drugs working their way out of his system, and his weird behavior being a side-effect. It would get suspicious when the smell doesn't go away later, but by that time Vin may have already wised up.

Yaass. I may even add a short dream with Damien in it. Being a rich bitch, of course.

Interesting. I'm eager to see some more of Sarah. It makes sense that she wouldn't be a super spy- it's not like she was raised like the two of them. That is wholly way too much for a random person to take on. Quint and Cora's brains combined with Sarah's resources seems like an appropriate combination. Like if Quint had Kuznet's resources... Damn, it'd be all-out war!

However, as the week goes on, the pressure on him will mount. If he outright refuses to stay... then she'll have to take matters into her own hands. He is an unmatched resource, and she wants his talents badly. Badly enough to do anything to make sure he can't escape.

In addition to being captured and getting away with the cop who knows Damien, I also planned for him to discover that the horde is on its way as well. Though I imagine Kuznet might already know.
