Endless Curiosity

My favorite flower has long been the snapdragon. As a kid, we had some and I loved playing with the flowers (the kind of look like a dragon head and if you pinch them just right, they open and close "the mouth"...hmmm now that I think about it, that's kind of erotic...really, seriously, just had that realization).
I loved pinching their mouths open and close! *thinking back* :)

I love wildflowers and hydrangeas if they'll be put in a vase. Lavender outside. And flowering trees like dogwoods.

The pretty hibiscus that my dad and niece planted together, looking all the more beautiful on a sunny day.

Daisies are sweet, beautiful, wild things sometimes. I named a character inban SRP Daisy for those reasons. I think my profile picture is still daisies. They're my favorite - any type of daisy.

Lilacs are my favorite scent.

My favorite plant... hmmm... I'll get back with you on that. :)

Favorite flowers: Poppies and Lillies.
Favorite scented flowers: I'm super sensitive to smells, so nothing really strong.
Favorite plant: I really like succulents. Setting up a mini terrarium is on my list this summer.

Technically, I suppose I missed answering this on the right day, but too bad.
Flower - Texas bluebonnets of course, followed closely by any type of rose.
Scented flower - I love the sweet delicate smell of the mimosa tree blossom
Plant - maybe Japanese maples

I love this question. I thought about it a good long while.

Favorite flower by a landslide: sunflowers. Fields of them? Even better. I shall romp in them one day, up in the clouds with Shannon Hoon, and we will have outdoor hippie flower field sex and it will be afterlife-alteringly good :D

Favorite scented flower: Tie between night-blooming jasmine and orange blossoms

Favorite plant: Cacti and succulents -- so many cool shapes, sizes, types, varieties, and they bloom! I like agaves a lot. The grow to be so old, so huge, and produce these ginormous phallic looking flower stalks that give me the giggles. I like spiky plants.

Also palmtrees. So many varieties. They remind me of home, like the orange blossoms.

Good questions!

I guess it's time to report back on this week's challenge. I went to lunch with her, but totally chickened out. I couldn't do it. :(

I've been thinking of my time spent here, of how I interact on the playground and have come to the conclusion that it's a bit absurd. In the real world, I proudly display my SO when I have one. Flirting with others is very limited and "I'm taken" is the message I project. Here, it's the opposite. Lovers are kept private and the flirting runs wild. Is it just me? What other things have you noticed that are normal or expected here, but are in complete contrast to your normal life?

That I can be closer here than in real life. I am more introverted in real life than on here. Maybe just because it's harder to judge a person on here because you can't see them.

I think you pretty much nailed it there :D

Intimate conversations with near strangers are commonplace here. Confessions and the sharing of fantasies that you'd be bashful to share with your SO come much easier with the anonymity and distance of online.

Well done for thinking about it and giving yourself the challenge *pats you on the back* :)

You have reminded me that I need to report in otherwise MF will be after me. ;)

OK everyone, I had to get a 5Km out the way and now on to business. :)

The question for the day is:

Litiquette.
Does lit fill a void for you?
Is there something missing in your life this place provides?
Or is it just fun?

Answers on a postcard on here!

Also tanked my challenge.

The Divine Comedy has yet to be cracked. Something of a tumultuous week.

I have, however, placed the volume I in a prominent position on my night stand, where it will stare at me reproachfully whenever I slide into bed.

As volume I is titled Hell it’s presence should eventually guilt me into action....

*cuddles*
I bought my son's outfit for graduation....he is growing...

Yay! I'm so happy you managed. :rose:

On our last day of an amazing few days with my boys. So rare to have them together with me for this amount of time. We've had a great time, reconnected, had a ton of fun, and I even managed to escape them for a bit to have breakfast with a local litster. :D

Doing the long drive home tonight with a smile on my face.

It’s not just you.

In my real-time relationships I’m controlled, logical, cool, practical, reserved. In Lit-time, I submit. Submissive me is an emotional, irrational, illogical, impossible, high-maintenance, hot mess of a lunatic.

Fortunately I rarely dip my trepidatious little toe in the pool, meaning there are plenty of Litsters who’ll still talk to me. :p

The sex is amazing, which is probably the only reason the door isn’t locked instead of shut.

If I play (rare) it fills a void. I don't submit real-time. I'm not even sure that I could.

Otherwise, it's just fun. I have friends here, and my silly posting lets me blow off steam. The more serious question threads are fun, too. I enjoy the answers from other people and seeing differing points of view. :)
