Endless Curiosity

Ah, I see..
Well, in that case, I do discuss my thoughts on certain Litsters with two close Litster friends, but like I said, I'm usually just shooting the shit in conversation as I'm not involved with anyone here.
When I was involved, as it were, I did discuss some aspects of the relationship with the same two Litsters, just like I would have sought out advice from my real life friends if I had a real life issue I felt I needed support on.

Is that what you're referring to?

Exactly. :D

The actual question of the day was submitted by someone else, I was just commenting on my interpretation of it. The original author may have meant it in terms of "real life". You get bonus points for answering both ways! ;)

Oh, well! For bonus points... :D

No one in my RL knows about Lit, as far as I know. So I don't discuss anything with them. What happens here stays here.

On lit, there are people I trust. I share some information with them. But I never name names. When I went to visit one Litster for the first time, for example, I told another Litster I was going. That Litster made me promise to check in every day, and had my cell number just in case. Had the city I was visiting, the hotel I was staying in but not much else.

color me an overachiever..lol

Yeah, I'm late ... so spank me. *wiggles bottom*

Do you discuss your Lit playmates with your same-sex platonic friends? What about opposite-sex platonic friends?

Do you discuss playmates with anyone? Ever?

If not, well ... why not? It's normal to discuss other relationships with friends. Why not a Lit playmate?

I discuss playmates with the hubby. I don't discuss with other litsters. Litsters that know me know who I talk to, but they don't know what I talk about.

I do discuss my Lit relationships, and/or potential relationships. Wth one Lit friend and also my SO. My SO has offered advice more than once on how to handle various situations. My Lit friend usually has a running commentary of advice. Important stuff, as Lit is my first foray into both online and any type of poly relations.

Privacy is, of course, an issue. I value mine, and I expect a partner to value it as well. My Lit confidante, I trust to keep quiet. :)

Online play can be tricky, at least when maintaining a real time relationship is priority. My kink is power exchange, which for me at least, requires a certain depth of emotional intimacy. Engaging on that level adds an extra layer of difficulty. Having some one to talk to, and act as a source of support, is invaluable.

And, in the interests of overachieving. I do have one real time friend who is privy to some of my Lit doings.

Interesting topic, of course one has to have "playmates" that "play" to share with their lit friends....

I'm going to live vicariously through all of you;)

I tried to discuss this with my sister, who was just no help at all. Had me watch the movie "Her" and tried to convince me that my relationship had been no different than that of the protagonist in the movie.

Oh no she didn't! Give me a motherfucking break. Seriously?!

I mean, it was a good flick n all. Not in any way germane to your discussion with her, though. Facepalm.

And that^ is why I don't discuss Lit with RL friends. One old GF, or two, knows I'm a fan of sexy internet shenanigans. They roll their eyes. I care not!

And as far as how I socialize here? I think having a few trusted, and trustworthy, friends is really helpful. *Trust* being the key word in that sentence.

<<<< is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent

That is exactly how I roll as well. No reason for me to type the same answer.. that's not considered cheating on the test is it?

There are so many levels here . . .

Regarding specific names, I've got lady friends who respect my opinion and have asked my advice on specific guys they were thinking about playing with. I've talked to guy friends about specific ladies. Non-sexual aspects, like that they are doing alright in spite of not being on Lit in months.

I do have one RL guy friend I told to check out Lit.

Other than that, it's no-names in conversations. Kissing and Telling could ruin one's credibility and reputation for trust. You'll guard that carefully if you want longevity. If I were to over-share with you, you'd be right to wonder what I might say to others about you.

What day is today again? Fuck

Today's Questions:

Yeah, I'm late ... so spank me. *wiggles bottom*

Do you discuss playmates with anyone? Ever?

If not, well ... why not? It's normal to discuss other relationships with friends. Why not a Lit playmate?

Yes, yes, and yes. Although I share significantly less info, and with far fewer people than I used to. I used to be ridiculously open amongst my close friends and playmates; I would have hosted meet-n-greet dinners at my house if I could have. :D

To a large degree, I operate here much as I would irl. That being said, I like my privacy (as do my acquaintances), and I don't have many close friends with whom to share that info to start with.

 I hope you're telling them I've got great boobs!

I'm doing a crap job of keeping up with this thread, but I'm loving it when I'm here.:rose:

But seriously, that's absolutely right. If I ever found out one of my trusted Litsters was breaking my confidence, I'd never tell them another thing.

My boobs are about the only thing I expect to get accolades on....
Unless, of course, you're into a deflated, Sta-puf Marshmallow Type of figure...:p
