Endless Curiosity

There is no one I tell everything to anymore. I've learned to just keep my mouth shut about most things now because it always gets out somehow.

*gets in line behind Honey for boob accolades *
But seriously, that's absolutely right. If I ever found out one of my trusted Litsters was breaking my confidence, I'd never tell them another thing.

If i can remember that far back, I think one of the reasons I stopped saying much about my playmates was because my Lit-friends are really well-grounded and, um... nobody cared. ha ha ha ha ha

They care that I'm happy, they care that I'm enjoying my time spent with the friends that I've made here, but beyond that, they have bigger fish to fry than keeping up with who's been in my box.

Sensible folks, they are. :)

Stories! Lit was built on the stories. Did you first find Lit for the stories? Do you (still) read them? Have you written stories? Have you written in the SRP forum?

If you mostly 'play' in the forums, what are the top 3 forums you visit the most?

Stories is what first brought me here, and that's where I stayed for a couple of years before finding AmPics, and then the PG. I visit stories once in a blue moon to revisit a, um, proven winner or two, or to search for certain themes I may have a jones for on a given day.

The vast majority of my time is at the PG, with occasional visits to AmPics and FetSex Central.

SHORT ANSWERS: Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, The Playground, AmPics, {currently no 3rd}

LONGER ANSWERS:

I initially found Literotica for the stories. I was reading stories several days each week for more than a year before I found the forums. In the forums, initially I was exclusively in the AmPics forum. I had a different username back then, and I posted very seldom. Mostly just lurking. Due to confusion over my username being similar to another, I switched usernames. I reflected upon my role at Lit and felt that I should contribute more to the community. I opened my own pic thread and participated in other open pic threads. A few months later I wrote and posted my first story. I also made a point to develop friendships with other Listers.

I consider Lit my on-line get away. Someplace I can go and enjoy what Lit has to offer. I do enjoy the relationships I have developed here, even if none of them are in my "real life". I have made a few very close friends here, but we know our friendship will always be just on-line.

Over time my interests have changed. I took up SRP writing for a while, but found it very time consuming, so I have dropped that. Just over a year ago I gave up my last pic thread. It was at that time I started to explore other forums and settled into The Playground.

Now my time is about equally split between AmPics and The Playground. I spend very little time in other forums, including SRP. But I am writing more stories. I've posted several stories this year and I am very pleased with the responses (views & votes). I am working on another story right now.

To me it appears that Lit has a lot of different ways to have fun. Each person's tastes are different, so each have their own parts of Lit where they visit and play.

And I am still reading the stories. :)

Yes, but it was a couple years before I bothered with the English-language stories (in itself a long story); yes, yes, and no. I have written privately with a few partners but never with the intent that the product would be published anywhere.

My time on Lit is largely about discussion. For the first year or so after I joined, I mostly stuck to The Playground and then migrated to the HowTo forum. About ten years ago I emigrated again (visa problems, again a long story), to the BDSM Forum. Though I now occasionally post in How To and very occasionally in PG threads like this one, I consider the BDSM Forum to be my home here.

I think I found Lit through the stories, but I joined for the forums, and rarely read any stories, with the exception of those written by friends.

I have never written any stories on or off of the SRP forum. It seems like a lot of work, and I'd rather spend my time doing other things. I do write a bit of poetry now and then, but not typically for public consumption.

Top 3 forums? PG, GB, and BDSM, though I like to wander around a good deal.

Wha? 😇

I think another question has germinated here. I have written stories for people (before Lit) and I think I could do a good job, but yeah, I'm too lazy. I prefer extemporaneous, mutually created short stories, and I don't mean SRP

Heh heh heh

I found lit via the stories almost twenty years ago... Longest sexual relationship I've ever had, hah!

I read stories here when I was in college, long before I ever created an account. I have had two stories and one poem published and I'm working on another story.

Top 3 forums - Playground, Fetish and Sexually, and AM pics. I do not role play so I never visit those forums.

I roleplay, but every time I try to bring up my 5th Level Half-Elf Thief, I get laughed at.....but he's got a 18 Wisdom, and a 22 Dexterity!

found lit about 14 years ago for stories....very recently signed up for boards not really ready given my new found admired virgin status to comment on top 3 boards

Stories and a desire to write myself brought me here. I got a very quick education that the volunteer "editors" are not necessarily volunteering to help "edit" anything...

I migrated to the audio section, and stay there for most of my sexual needs.
I post in the PG, Sex/Fet, Personals, and BDSM threads. Every once in a while I'll get a wild hair to see what's going on in the GB, but that's a rarity.

I'm mostly a sardonic shell of my former happy-go-lucky and use Lit to practice my ability to respond thoughtfully and with some modicum of tact.

Occasionally, I fail on the "tact" part...lol

holy shit i have been upgraded to experienced now I will pontificate...fuck it on second thought i still have no clue what i am doing

Yes, No, No, and yes. :)

I perused the *cough* literature for about a year before I stumbled on to the forums. Then I lurked for about six months before making an account. I do write, though not short stories, and not for Lit. SRP was a blast! I wasn't quite sure what to expect as I'd never done anything similar. Great fun! :cattail:

The General Board, Playground, and BDSM. Where I visit is primarily mood dependent. GB if I'm in the mood to lurk, PG to post, BDSM varies.

I started on Lit because a woman I had a crush on told me I should submit my stories here. I actually didn't find the forum until later by accident. I still read them and I write on occasion. I have never written in the SRP forum.

I am a PG person with the Ampics Darkroom Lounge as a far away second.

I am endlessly curious about the sexuality of others. I am forever wondering what that guy or girl in the coffee shop, bar or office does in their private life, their secrets, their sexuality. Not so much fantasising, more just outright curiosity.

I first came to Lit to read the stories, the true accounts, written by both men and women. Lit is such a wonderful insight into others intimate lives......oh, and it has proven to be quite educational as well. ;)
