Endless Ends

Don't miss the Harvest Moon Supermoon lunar eclipse tonight!

“The spiritual lesson in this is to commit to what serves you. . . Learning to let go and embrace a different form of an old dream during this time is essential. Simply put, you should be looking at the past with sentimentality and the future with high hopes. One should try to remain grounded and focus on the present, but be careful not to chase waterfalls until you've made it through the waves of the river.”
Great message! I would love to see, but considering how poor my sleep as been lately, it seems pretty unlikely.

Maybe if you watch it for me that will count? :p

Nyet - totally clouded in tonight up here. . . no moon visible, with or without eclipse . . . bummer ! :(

I didn’t know any of this at the time, but I did see the moon and it was pretty damn big and awesome!

I. Need. Some. Cooler. Weather.

Just a little presage of autumn. To kick me out of this summer mindset.

*waits*

Are we there, yet? :p

This last week featured a five-year-old kicking my derrière at Hungry Shark and an eight-year-old offering me fifty cents if I could spell "suppuration" properly and use it in a sentence.

I think my model # is phasing out. :p

I made it home late tonight. After a rush to unload and get settled, it occurred I'd forgotten to close and lock the gate. No big. I dashed outside and started to walk the dirt drive. Not far from the house I realized how dark it was. I mean, dark.

Not a huge issue, except I was barefoot. And snakes. It's still snake season. And nighttime. 😬

Brief hesitation, but I figured I could make it.

Halfway there and it became clear this was a baaaaaad decision. No visual at all. Made it. Stumbled into the gate; closed and locked. Turned, and realized just how far away the blur of light indicating the house was . . . .

About that time something brushed against my bare foot. 😧

Off like a shot. Made it to the house in record time. I don't think my feet touched the ground.

And that was my exercise for the day. :p

*collapses on the couch*

Now. Back to that horror movie list for October.

Should it be themed? 🤔

Supernatural? Creature feature? Slasher? Classic? Science/Body horror?

Four. Days. To. Decide. 🎃

Not necessarily a snake. It could just have been a skelton hand reaching out from the ground to grab your ankle.
