Quick question:

People often feel the need to correct someone when they call the Monster “Frankenstein”, by telling them that that is the name of the Doctor not the Monster and the Monster should be referred to as Frankenstein’s Monster.

But if the Doctor made the Monster, wouldn’t the Monster also take the Doctor’s surname?

In Son of Frankenstein, Ygor says to the titular Son “Your father made him. And Henrich Frankenstein is your father too”. To which the Son replies, “Do you mean to imply that he is my brother?” And ygor answers, “Yes. But his mother was lightning”.

So if Frankenstein is the father, the Son is the brother, doesn’t that make the Monster a Frankenstein?

It's funny watching older movies that depict dystopian futures. So it's "the post apocalyptic future of 1993..."

It was good! Verging on camp, like so many of his films. I'm not sure if camp is the right word. There is always a general over the topness.

Dystopian is not a genre that typically appeals, but this was watchable. I mean, it did lack the crazy special effects of The Thing, but you can't have everything.

I mean . . . what happened to three, four, and five?

Naturally I went on the hunt. Seems there is a Three-Headed and a Five-Headed, just not streaming. Wherefore Four? Where?! There is no Four!
