Endless Ends

A hundred years ago, the accepted definition of masculinity included intellectualism.

(According to my reading. :p)

Between feminism and a host of other things, what constitutes masculinity has changed nearly beyond recognition, but that seems to be a curious component to have lost.

What's not to like about intellectualism? 🤔
 
I now ship out to fulfill my conscription of finding items left in an abandoned dwelling.

If I don't show up again, you'll know a wall fell on me, or a snake got me, or some other heinous accident occurred.

Welp. That was . . . an adventure.

Maybe not quite Indiana Jones adventure, but, if you substitute collapsed walls and dodgy floors for ancient traps, and god-knows-what-wildlife-was-running-around-in-there for snake and insect pits - fairly close.
