(Yes, I realize it's the dead heat of summer. That's when I do most of my winter shopping. )

Why is it so impossible to find them in suitable colors?

Not all of us can wear black, white, or tan. Do better sustainable, ethical, quality cashmere companies!

Honestly, I prefer established brands, even if recent. More standardized quality.

Not Loro Piana level, just a steady presence.

Though I do find myself fascinate by this little item. A cashmere umbrella!!!

So utterly decadent, and, one would think, rather impractical.

Crew, or scoop, I think. Possibly turtleneck.

Camel can be beautiful, but it's not a color I can wear. That's so often the difficult I run into. The usual neutrals, which are the commonly produced, just don't work for me.

I'm seeing a few things in muted navy or dull green. I'll probably do something along those lines.
