Interesting how that varies from country to country. I had an older relative who was a very tolerant soul. The only time I remember her saying something racial was once, when she made a negative comment atop the Japanese. She was a young girl during WW2.The scars from the brutality/murders/rape/forced “prostitution” during the Japanese occupation in WW2 run deep in China. It shows up in Chinese movies/tv quite a bit.
The Japanese, though, don't seem to hold it Hiroshima against the United States.
