Endless Ends

I watched the first half of the 1979 version of Salem's Lot last night. In a desperate effort to hurry the end of summer along. 😂

First watch.

My Stephen King viewing is limited. His themes are dark, which doesn't bother me, but he involves children, which does. This, being filmed back in the day (Yikes! 47 years ago!) is fairly mild, so I took a risk.

Dated, of course, but it's held up surprisingly well. The filming is great. Very atmospheric. 😎

Oof. Looks as though there are 250 species in the US. A hundred of which reside in Texas. Four of the hundred are venomous. Three, very.

We seem to be snake central. 🐍

The SO has a sports car that he works on from time to time.

Today I was on the receiving end of a conversation where the only words I understood were oil, aftermarket, bypass valve. Between that, and the technical nature of his work, I occasionally wonder how we manage to carry on conversation.

Of course, all that tecky aptitude does come in handy. He did just agree to build three invisible doors. 🤔
