I would query what proportion are "virulently Zionist" and how many are driven by 'anti Muslim' beliefs, and whether this is more a case of 'my friend, the enemy of my enemy'.

Israel's primary export is technology, and if the best and the brightest in Israel head off to Europe, that's going to hurt their GDP.
