I commonly romanticize periods in history that seem nice to me for whatever reason (enlightenment Athens, renaissance London, industrial Montana). Then I remember they none of them had air conditioning and that I’d hate it.

My work schedule is too full. I’ve been intending to spend more time working on the house and doing outdoor sports activities, but the extreme heat has made work take longer. The first thing to drop off the schedule is fun time - fortunately much of my work is fun.
