Ever Decreasing AH...

SO GLAD to see this thread! Support is always helpful. I have begun an exercise class and love the energy and motivation it gives me! On off days, I walk, do yoga or dance. Have lost only 7 pounds so far, but fitting into some clothes better. SADLY, the first to go were my boobs - I was enjoying them so nice and big! Now almost down to a C instead of my D's and disappointed. Does anybody else have that problem?

God no - can't wait for my boobs to shrink - it's so hard to find nice tops and bras to find, underwear is uncomfortable and expensive - bring on the small boobs say I!

Yay me... I crumbled the night before my exam and ate half a pizza-hut Medium pizza (oops) but my weight is holding steady at its lowest so far...
Just goes to show it's the every-day treats that get you, not the occasional one.

Wonder how much I have left to lose now?
Well, lost about 11lbs and have about 21-28lbs left to lose, depending on how scrawny I look after I've lost 21lbs :D

BMI says I should be about 132lbs I think, but I don;t reckon it'd be healthy for me to go below 140lbs with my build (childbearing hips and all that :D)

hey dont go to small in the boobage as its hard to find nice stuff in smaller sizes as well. At least in the uk:(

I can finally take part in this thread since I finally managed to get 2 pounds off. Hopefully abit more to follow. My thyroid problem makes it extremely difficult to get it back off. The nice weather lately has helped and we can get out more and and go for walks.

Well... I am naturally large breasted... somehow I doubt I'll go below a C cup...
Even at 16 (and my skinniest) I was a B cup...

Wow, I need to visit this thread more often. :D

I need to lose weight so badly. I have two messed up knees from my insane childhood (I did every sport), and a bad back, which make exercise very limited. The funny thing is, I can run better than I can walk or cycle (I can't explain...it just hurts less). Me on a diet is hopeless. My work schedule is all over the place, so I usually end up eating in the car. I got down to 200lbs the first time I saw Kiten, but balloned back up to 215lbs immediately after. I haven't been able to lose anything since. At least I've gotten flexible enough to do karate again. It may not be a great weight-loss thing, but it's helped my back and knees, so hopefully I'll be able to work-out more in a month or two.

Good luck to everyone here. Losing weight is so not fun. Seriously, someone needs to come up with a hot-fudge sundae that makes you lose 1lb every time you have one. :cathappy:

Well... I've cut out wheat, sugar and dairy. Means I can still eat crisps, chips and all those sorts of things. Getting a little bored of the lunchtime salads now, but if it works, I'm sticking with it :)

Good luck with finding a good diet for you and congrats on the improving fitness/health

I was down to 220 the last time I checked. Yay. I want to drop pure fat down to 200, and then bulk up pure muscle to 230 again, but that doesn't appear to be happening. I've been trying at it for three and a half years now...

good god woman...want to tell me where you get the will power to drop out wheat and dairy?

I haven't lost any this week - but I haven't put any on either, so it's not all bad!

I started crying every time I looked in the mirror. After that it was easy...

Seriously though... I still have soya milk and eggs and, occasionally, allow myself something naughty like a slice of cheescake... but it's the everyday things that make you put on weight - like the glass of milk before bed, the extra bowl of cereal...

Anyway, the dairy was making em snore so loud the Fiance had to sleep in a diff room. I missed my cuddles...

That's good Ness! Sometimes we plateau - but I think I get stuck and can't seem to get down any further and then lose heart. I haven't done as well with exercising this week - can't seem to get motivated and my family is always fussing that there's no "good food" in the house (aka JUNK). I don't diet well, because I hardly eat anyway but have such a low metabolism. I need to FORCE MYSELF to walk more - that's the best way to get myself moving and I enjoy yoga & it makes me feel better. But I fight depression that really makes it hard to get motivated. I can hardly function sometimes - then comes comfort foods - a vicious circle.

Amen Kitten. I'm a comfort eater myself.

I also have trouble exercising because I egt so tired, so diet has to be the main thing but I *miss* my biscuits and cake... <sigh> I've become a chewing gum addict... though last night I sat down and ate a packet of ham and half a punnet of strawberries... oh well, it was comfort food, but not packed with sugar, carbs and fat so better than usual :)

woo - 12lbs lost.

This is less of a group thread than I planned, but hey, I need somewhere to gloat :)

Gloat away! You've earned it if it makes you feel better about yourself :D

The trouble with this not being much of a group thread, is that a few people are only focusing on their own losses and gains, and not complimenting each other, or helping each other out with tips and so on as they were in the beginning.

I think...

We'll see tomrrow if I get to join you any. Its not that I want to lose a lot just 9 pounds...but shifting it *shrugs* we'll see.

Maybe I'll at least give the dropping the wheat out. I'm a bread freak so if I just drop off the crusty rolls and stuff maybe it'll help. My mother in law got me ceritficates for a toning table for christmas ...might go and give it a try. They have to be used before I go on vacation.

Well done! I think once you get on a roll, it gets a little easier. I have just started a new job this week, with lots of walking, so hopefully that will make a difference.
I have been doing the Core plan this week(Weight Watchers), which is basically eating whole foods, nothing processed. So fruit and veges, lean meat, fish, oats, lowfat milk, only 1 serve of multigrain bread a day, brown rice, pasta. You need to listen to your body though and still eat sensibly. I don't know that I like it too much, I prefer to count points, as I can then incorporate things like cheese and chocolate into my day and it feels less like a diet!! I will let you know how I go on Tuesday night (weigh in night!)

Keep up the good work. :D

Good call. Bodies have trouble with processed grains anyway and the things that taste nice on bread (like butter, for example) are bad for weight loss too.
I've found cutting out cow dairy easier than I thought, too. Am currently obsessed with feta or goat's cheese and oatcakes, yum.

As for the wholefoods thing - go for it, it's what I'm trying and it's working pretty well so far, though I might break it in celebration of the evil module being finished... think will buy a slice of choc cheesecake tonight.

Am getting into running again, too. As my fitness increases I enjoy it more and more (especially with the weather as gorgeous as it was yesterday) and I'm starting to remember why I was so hooked on it as a teenager... possibly not a good thing as I had exercise and bulimia issues, but I'm a bit more in control of myself these days... hopefully.

I talked to a personal trainer to get lifting and exercise advice. She spent half the session talking about diet and told me I had to cut sugar out of my diet. I told her how much I put in a cup of coffee and we politely ended the session. :D

I won;t lie, it was bloody hard and I still allow myself a little treat every so often (I had a slice of cheesecake tonight - oops) but on the whole it has made a *huge* difference... especially to how bright I feel and my energy levels (and believe me, with my illness, having a more steady energy level makes a *huge* difference).

If you want to, maybe try just reducing it at first... :D
Good luck either way

I'm still holding at 220. I'm also still afraid that I'm mostly losing muscle instead of fat. I need to get rid of these colds (I have two right now, a chest cold and a head cold) so that I can exercise again.

yearg....

Sugar is evil to anyone with chronic weight issues.

I need to get into cardio again. I am hoping to find a gazelle or something similar at a yard sale this summer.
