OH, btw, I am 22 and listen to music anywhere from the 1950s to present day!!

I was raised on Motown and gradually introduced to classic rock...
just for all you late 30s and 40 somethings talking about tastes in music not in your own time.... when we love it, we MAKE it ours!

;)

Hello, Jade - was it Jonathan Richman singing 'Pablo Picasso'? ("Pablo Picasso - he never got called an asshole" - splendid bit of rhyme that.)

Uhm... Laurel... your question.... was it.... is it....

Nope, I'm fooling myself. I don't even know who Napster IS. You have to forgive me - I'm foreign.

Like the new look BB, by the way.

Rogel...you little "one-upper" you!

So which is it Jade in the Shade???

(Rog..If I win...I get to watch YOU in your little pink panties being debauched by Gil on my stationery table.)

That's pretty high stakes you're playing for, there, LL. What do I get if ya lose?

Hey Hurley....if ya dig punk why'd ya not mention The Ramones....they defined punk...check out the video of The Ramones last show, it's called "We're Outta Here" Lars joins them onstage for 53rd and 3rd
Eddie Vedder is on it too...

I am bored here....my little girl(yeah right little) is dozing, and this beats folding laundry...maybe.... ;)

BTW...I think the answer she has in mind is Vincent (Just wanna see a debauching!) :D

Oh, hang on a minute! Not only am I getting debauched if I lose but there's gonna be an audience, too? I'm not sure I like this game anymore.

Hey, Thumper. I saw The Ramones at Edinburgh Playhouse in 1987 (I was 18). They were all in black (of course), except Joey Ramone had flurescent green socks on. They had a plackard with 'GABBA GABBA HEY!' emblazoned across it. We were drunk and it was rock 'n' roll fun.

ONE... TWO.... THREE. FOHHHH!!!!!!!

LL... YOU GOT IT!!!

It appears as if you picked a pretty decent prize too!!

But seriously, you did win, just b/c of what you won from roger either.... Although I admit, Roger had an awesome guess!!
But, yes "Vincent" was "dedicated" to Van Gogh and by Don McLean.

;)

Okay, okay.. Napster was the childhood nickname of the dude who created it - who, incidentally, is now 19.

The Napster battle is on the front cover of Newsweek, btw.

Dixon Lee and the Lashers... oooo... when does their album come out?

Oh my God... I broke 100 with Dixon Lee Carter and Lasher!!!!! I feel honored... and faint.

Hey, Jade,

I've had a word with the impartial judges. Turns out you were wrong all along. The song you were looking for was indeed, as I first suggested, 'Pablo Picasso' by Jonathan Richman. As a result of this, you have to debauch Lovely Latina on her writing desk while Merelan and Gingersnap do up their bootlaces and Gil and I get the beers in.

DCL and the Lashers have said they'll do the show but that's gonna cost extra.

Laurel - you get to come up with the next question 'cause you answered that last one. Although, actually... I'm not sure if answering your own questions counts. I'll have to look into that.

OUCH!!

OI!!

Would you all please stop chucking stuff at me?

...unlike Social Distortion, who are humble, quiet guys... :)

Roger, I'm terrible with music trivia! All the trivia I know is stuff that happened in MY lifetime, and much of it is so trivial that not only will no one know it but no one will even care!

Humm... Okay, here's a moldy oldy: Who wrote The Monkees #1 hit "I'm A Believer"?
