The 2 goals called back ( correct calls both) kinda opened a can of worms. Vegas had twice as many hits in the 1st Period. They have been the aggressor. Canes are in trouble.

Edit:Vegas has 44 hits to 24 after 2 Periods. Carolina has 9 giveaways. This really is the difference. Canes are 2 strides behind where they need to be.
