Fangsome Foursome

Dan

Dan was vaguely aware of what was going on around him. Even that vague awareness left him when his eyes fell on the asian chick. She was beautiful, and slowly dropping her clothing. He was aware he was going to die here, but the stuff he'd been smoking should dull the pain. Mostly he was watching her, the sound of her voice was enchanting.

"No, I don't think we've met. I'm Dan."

He turned with her, eyes focused on her naked lithe body. She was a sight to behold. A tap on his shoulder turned his head to see the other vampire.

"Isn't my baby sexy when she plays with her food like this."

"Pretty sure she'd be sexy no matter what."

His head turned back to the woman. If this was how he was going out, he might as well watch something worth looking at.

Ondine~A Suck Before Dying

"No, I don't think we've met. I'm Dan."

Ondine nodded, happily. It was polite to find out the name of your dining partner. That was just good manners. Her grin widened as she heard the back and forth between Jericho and Dan~not because the words were funny. They weren't. She grinned because she KNEW that Jericho would hold him, if she needed it...and she KNEW that Dan was aware of his imminent demise. The question was would she make it hurt or would she let him slip away easy?

"Well, Dan, I am Ondine. Pleased to make your acquaintance. However, I do believe you are over dressed for our little soiree. We should fix that"

Suiting actions to words, Ondine's hands darted out, nails grew~jagged, clawed~and soon enough his jeans, tee and underpants were gone, just gone. He was a bit wiry for her taste but he would do in a pinch. She giggled happily, her eyes flaring red in the gloom.

"You know, I had the most delicious thought..."

Ondine stalked closer, until her nude body was pressed tightly against the shaman's. In the process, she pushed him backward, into Jericho's more than capable hands. Her hands reached up, twined into his hair, tugged so that his face angled down towards her own. She kissed him once, deeply, engaging his tongue in play...and then? She bit his tongue...off. She continued the kiss for just a moment and then broke away, spitting out the flaccid muscle. She smiled, fangs gleaming.

"No, THAT wasn't the thought. This was."

Dropping gracefully to her knees, she opened her mouth to swallow his male member. Between the drugs coursing through his system and the pain that he must have felt, even if it was only in a fleeting way, his penis did not attempt to respond, at least not right away. That was fine. Ondine was more than willing to work at it.

Eventually, when he had a decent erection, Ondine allowed her nail to puncture his femoral artery. He would bleed out quickly but she was so hungry. Transferring her mouth from his penis to the hole in his groin, she began to suckle~moaning low in her throat.

His blood was spicy, hot. It made her light headed, slightly dizzy. Didn't matter. He was food and she enjoyed every last drop. The last pulse of life faded and she leaned back on her heels, her eyes locking to Jericho's.

"You should have had a drink, love. He was good to the last drop."

A wicked smile for her man and she leaned in once more, her mouth reattaching to the place she had fed from. The blood no longer pulsed, no longer flowed. She sucked once and again, cooing lightly. 'All gone greedy cow....'

"Drop him, love...I have a promise to keep....

Dan

Dan was beginning to feel fear when the vampire suddenly slashed at his clothes. In an instant, he was bereft of clothing, standing naked before her. Even in his somewhat stoned state, he could see her eyes. She was crazy. He might have said something, but her lips attacked his.

Calling it a kiss would be the most inaccurate thing in the world. She assaulted him with her lips, forced her tongue between his protesting lips and yanked at his until it was in her mouth. Then pain.

He tried screaming, but couldn't. Blood was pumping from his severed tongue into her hungry mouth as she sucked at it. Dan was too shocked to struggle, but his body did shake a little from the shock of it. Eventually, what seemed an eternity, she broke the kiss and spat his tongue from between her lips. He couldn't hear her words, his ears were rushing and the hoarse sound of his scream was the only thing in his mind.

Dan was swallowing blood, some of it dripping down the corners of his mouth as the chick slid down his body and began sucking at his cock. His body was quivering, and his mind felt fuzzy. The edges of his vision were blurry now and his breathing uneven and ragged. His cock began swelling, a reaction to her patience at working it. The loss of his tongue wasn't fatal, and he felt a brief surge of hope. Maybe they wouldn't kill him.

He didn't feel a tearing sensation, just a pinch. A hard pinch, then all of the strength seemed to flow out of him. Dan's head lolled forward, the girls mouth was latched to his leg, and she was sucking for all she was worth.

The dark blurriness of his vision closed in. The last thing he saw was his erection, and a beautiful mane of black hair as she drank the life essence from him.

Karena's eyes fell on the entertaining little display of Ondine and the strange little hippie. A well medicated yet ever evil giggle slithered from her lips as she laid there. At least some of them were getting food... lollie as she had heard Ondine call it so often. She almost envied that insane innocence. Vincent had done so well with his creation in Ondine.

The medicated mind took back over as she very uncharacteristically giggled again and smiled the hippie. Stretching her arm out towards him and wiggling her fingers she laughingly spoke.

Bye Bye little hippe... Good boy Feed our little Ondine... Thats a good little hippie.

She smiled watching the last of his life drain from him with still a hint of that sadistic glee. Watching with a smile the pallor paling much like theirs and then death... She smiled her eyes going back to moving around glancing at all the now free for the taking items....

No accounting for a Hippie's taste in Decor is there... Though I really should find that lovely shade of purple there maybe in a nice jacket... to go with that new black dress.

She continued to look around till sleep overtook her again.

IC: Jericho

"No, I don't think we've met. I'm Dan."

Ondine nodded happily, smiling wickedly, such a turn on.
"Well, Dan, I am Ondine. Pleased to make your acquaintance."
She said taking another step closer until she was within arms reach of the Hippie.

Jericho shifted his weight waiting for the moment of explosion, of action, of blood and lethal violence. It was coming calling out to him with every elongated second that passed.

However, I do believe you are over dressed for our little soiree. We should fix that"

Her hands out in movements that was a blur as at the same time Jericho's lanced out and grabbed Dan the hippie by the arms to hold him steady as Ondine sliced one, two, three, four times, and his clothing fell in tatters to the floor.

Seeing the flare of red in her eyes made Jericho's cock harden into an iron bar in his pants as she continued toying with their prey. "You know, I had the most delicious thought..."

She came upon her pressing herself against the shaman/hippie and into him making a Jericho, Ondine, hippie sandwhich. She kissed him then driving the back of head into Jericho. He laughed a little as her teeth ripped into the flesh of the hippie's tongue. "I like the way you're thinking, love."

She pulled back lips and chin covered in blood. She spat out the bit of Dan's tongue still in her mouth. Her blew her a kiss when she continued, "No, THAT wasn't the thought. This was." She dropped to her knees so she was face to face with Dan's cock inhaling past the fangs that had just bitten off the end of his tongue. She suckled and induced it to rise under expert ministrations.

"That's my girl," He told the hippie trying to get a breath past a mouth filling with blood. "Always like a good lolli. In fact she's alway wondered how many licks it takes to get to the center of the tootsiepop, but she doesn't have the patience for it. She's a biter you see."

But the hippie was too stoned to get the threat, maybe he wasn't even listening, damn hippie.

He gurgled trying to get a breath.

The strong fingers of Jericho's hand closed over the windpipe. Not enough to kill Dan but enough to keep him from distracting Jericho from the show. "Shush, let my girl enjoy herself."

She had opened his femoral artery now and was drinking the hippie up like she hadn't had a drop in decades. After a moment she disengaged and leaned back to stare up over the hippie's shoulder into Jericho's eyes. "You should have had a drink, love. He was good to the last drop."

"And spoil your fun greedy girl, never."

She smiled up at him sultrily. Leaning forward again suckling at the wound again searching for any she had missed and cooed softly. When she was satisfied she pulled back again saying, "Drop him, love...I have a promise to keep.... "

"Finally," He smiled throwing the corpse of the shaman/hippie aside. Maybe if he was lucky it'd hit Vincent before it landed. He reached down and pulled her up spun and pinned her against the wall and bookshelf. One hand pulling a leg up and around him to squeeze and fondle a handful of that small tight perfect ass. The tent she had caused in his pants pressed into her lower belly. His other hand tangled in her hair and pulled tantalizingly hard and forceful, making her head bend to one side and baring her neck to him. His lips pulled back and the sharp points of his fangs dragged over her skin causing goosebumps as he traced them up over the curve of her neck to just below her ear.

He whispered into it, "Forever and ever, love."

He then suddenly bit down into her neck deep, fangs driving into the large artery there. Blood spicy and hot flooded his mouth. He ground the hard ridge of his erection against her soft woman's core as he drank from her.

Vincent

The front of the store wouldn't be too much of a problem, rearranging a few bookcases would do well enough. There were only a few windows, and it didn't take Vincent long to make sure those were covered effectively. There was always the store room if there was an emergency. His glittering eyes saw Ondine starting to play with her food and he smiled, she was such a pleasure to watch. Knew just how to tease, to get that perfect moment of fear from her victims.

The scent of the hippies blood snaked it's way through the room, a nice variance from the scent of cannabis that was pervading the room. For a brief moment his mind flashed to the times he'd been able to play with Ondine and his smile shifted to something slightly more feral. Lovely memories to be sure.

Karena's rambling brought him back towards the here and now. With the sun effectively blocked from bothering any of them Vincent moved to where Karena was enjoying her drugged state. He climbed up beside her and stretched out.

"Yeah, deep purple was always good on you. You wore it frequently in Russia and Hungary as their governments were in flux. All those silly young men drawn to you."

While Karena might not really hear and understand him he knew she was responding to his voice as she drifted in and out. Vincent had the book the hippie had been using, and looked up more on the poison. She couldn't drink human blood, it would accelerate the process. He'd have to find something suitable, probably pig blood. She'd be royally pissed at him, but there wasn't much else he could do.

She opened her eyes for a little bit hearing his words her mind had drifted back.

We just left Russia Precious love... We have to let their population catch back up... perhaps we can go back next winter... No I think next we should travel to perhaps... Nepal or India... I have not been to Nepal in a very long time.

Without feeding the toxin was burning off the blood slower but she was slowly getting weaker and would once again be insane with hunger once the hippies little medication wore off. Her long blonde hair a bit mussed as she laid there... normally she would be demanding a mirror and something to straighten herself up with but in this moment it was in her mind her first near death all over again. Her mind half expected to see Lucien at any moment to save her from death. Though when each time she opened her eyes she saw her young childer... her Precious Love she smiled past and present found division in those moments of clarity and consciousness.

'Greedy boy' 'Very greedy boy.' 'Love him.' 'Yes.'

The press of his body against hers caused an answering thrum from between her thighs. She wanted, needed him, naked, deep, hard. The slip of his fangs beneath her skin caused a high yip of sound. Bliss. Clawed fingers meandered up into his hair, holding his head there as the other hand drifted south, fumbling to release his length from the clothing that kept them parted.

"I think you should....oooo...wait a minute. You are over dressed and I need TOO."

Now that the killing was over? She was more herself, centered once more behind her slanted eyes. No need for the others to drive. She wanted him. She meant to have him but he was taking far too long in getting uncovered. With a hard yank on his hair, she disengaged his fangs from her throat.

"I said you are over dressed, love. Fix it."

Small hands came up, pushed, putting a few precious inches between them. Ondine did not wait. Her Sire would not mind and Karena did not care. Her fingers fumbled for the buttons, the material that cradled his flesh so securely from hers. She tugged and eventually, his length sprang free.

Turning away, Ondine placed her hands upon the wall. Then, she rose up onto tip toe and pulled her hair to the right side, uncovering the back and left side of her neck for her love. Her small butt jutted out as she widened her stance, making his access the simplest of things.

"NOW."

Demanding. Commanding. Needy and wanting. Jericho would fix it. He would fill her all up and help her to sleep. 'Love him.' 'Yes.'

IC: Jericho

Blood rushed into his mouth. It was energy. It was passion. It was life in liquid red form. It wasn't the blood of the people at the vineyard. Nor was it the blood of the hippie any longer. It was Ondine. It tasted like her. It felt like her as he took it in deep satisfied swallows. It even sang to him inside his head with her voice as her hand held him there and he felt her answering grind against the tent she had pitched in his pants.

"I think you should..." One hand slipped between them reaching down to..."Oooo...wait a minute. You are over dressed and I need TOO." The fingers in his hair tightened and pulled his back hard. He snarled as he was kept from his feast of her.

"I said you are over dressed, love," She restated forcefully, "Fix it."

She pushed him back and began stripping off his clothes. She helped him a little impatient about getting him naked eventhough it only took a second or two. But now he stood before her bare, raw, and needy.

She turned around then hands against the wall, legs spread and raised on her tippy toes raising her ass up for him.

"Beautiful, Love," he stated truthfully.

Then came one word that was as much a command as a plea, "NOW."

He came up behind her. Hands grabbed hold of her hips as he postitioned his hard throbbing cock at the opening of her pussy. All the better to hold her hips steady as he slammed his cock home inside her with enough force to shake her from toes to fingertips. When he made love to his Ondine he wanted her to remember it for days to come. Hips slammed into her at a punishing pace. He stretched out over her placing one hand each over hers on the wall without letting up in the slightest. It wasn't like the shackles in their dungeon in Romania that summer, but it would serve.

He wasn't worried about hurting her, the hot pokers that summer in Romania came to mind again. Anyway if she didn't want to be hurt she wouldn't have taught him how much of a turn on it was to make someone scream out in agony.

He pressed a kiss against the side of her neck she had bared for him. "Love you," He whispered before savagely plunging his fangs back into her neck deep.

Vincent

Vincent stretched out his legs and crossed them at the ankle. Karena was talking again, though Nepal might be nice. He'd never quite figured out what it was about shirpa's, but they were addictive. You could never just have one, the next one, then the next one were always necessary. She'd liked Nepal the last time they'd been there.

"Yes, I remember. Fond memories."

His eyes were closed, but he could hear Jericho and Ondine. There wasn't anything really fun to play with around here, but after a good fight a good fuck was almost mandatory. It helped the body immensely, all that extra energy. It was a shame Karena was still stoned out of her mind. They'd probably need more of that stuff to keep her relaxed while they went to see Lucian. The thought of Lucian tensed his jaw muscles again, but he slowly regained control. Getting upset wouldn't help him. Truthfully it would only make his condition worse.

Vincent could feel it pulsing inside of him. His Hunger. Not the same as the hunger for blood, his was much different. Blood was necessary, and Vincent could crave it at times, but it wasn't his true Hunger. The real hunger that pulsed in Vincent was for evil. It had been too long since he'd really got to have some fun. He'd had plans for those poor three back at the vineyard before Holt showed up and spoiled his plans. It was to have taken so much more time before he was done.

The last time he'd really been able to have fun was Holt. Vincent had been sitting outside, eyes trained through a window as Holt came bursting through the front door, much much too late. If Vincent closed his eyes he could still smell the tears, taste the grief on his tongue. He needed more.

"Soon."

It was just a whisper to himself as the sounds of Jericho and Ondine pushed through his contemplation. For now he had to relax, he'd need something for Karena before they headed out, and if he was lucky something for himself.

Karena smiled feeling him relax more and get comfortable. Leaning up she pressed a kiss to his cheek and reached a hand to rest on his other cheek trying to move a little to snuggle close. Her eyes fought to stay open to watch over her Precious Love. The sounds of the other two barely registering for now. She was comfortable and within her childers arms little else mattered. She was hungry but for now even that didn't seem to matter.

Fingertips moved to trace his jawline and lips as she was trying to reclaim more of her own mind... She would probably have loved to kill the Hippie herself for whatever he gave her but she was pleased that Ondine dealt with him instead. She had fun with the little hippie and Karena knew she simply would have let the "medication" guide her as she ripped him apart.

Ripping an offensive being apart.... Karena's mind drifted to the Himalayas and the soldiers that happened across beating on the poor nomads and the fun she had dancing and entrancing them while Vincent relieved them of any weapons and then that "angelic dancer who had their attention and their huger stirring suddenly becoming a blood toothed demon as she ripped apart the throats and ripped the hearts out of the 2 officers leaving only the enlisted men running screaming while her her Precious Love Ondine and Jericho hunted them down in the light of the full moon. Lucky for the nomads that night they were too full to slaughter them.

She nuzzled closer pressing another kiss to his cheek as her mind slithered through such splendid memories. It was strange in some ways the Evil she brought about was for perhaps a greater good at least in a moment but that was not always the case Evil to be evil was just as satisfying and showing "evil mortals" that there was a much bigger evil out there was always fun watching their little egos shatter as their self importance in the realms of evil came crashing down around them in those fragile moments before death.

She nuzzled closer still to Vincent smiling softly to him she was feeling better and more within her own mind but still well medicated enough that hunger was not overpowering.

Time lapse. That's how it went. The press of Jericho against her, the feel of his fangs ravaging her neck, her low, bitter groaning. These things were there...and then they were not. It was a momentary aberration. She had blanked it, missed the ending. Ondine felt him as he withdrew~from both places. And she felt filled, full, sleepy...so she knew that the ending had come and gone. Yet, there was that stupid little time lapse...and she had missed it.

'Of course, it was good.' 'Always, good.' 'Truer words, never thought.' 'Still we missed it, again.' 'Yes.' 'No worries, though.' 'No.'

The interior debate ended and Ondine went about pulling herself together. The clothing? She scooped it up and stepped into her chemise and panties. The warm stickiness between her thighs was a happy reminder...and when she wasn't so sleepy, she was sure she would remember the tail end of their lovemaking.

Dark chocolate eyes focused on her child, her love, before darting to her Sire and grand Sire. They were quietly talking, the early morning casting the death pallor upon their flesh, even as they snuggled together, aiming for comfort. Once the sun broke the horizon, all four would find themselves sleeping. Ondine hated that part. Sleeping away the sunlight? It never got any easier.

Soon enough, she was curled up, in the darkest corner, waiting for Jericho to join her. He knew that she withdrew when the night ended. She thanked whatever darkness that was left that she had him. Eternity would be a scarier place without him, fuming, fighting, by her side.

'DO you remember the scent that wasn't there?' 'Yes.' 'Don't forget it...' 'No.'

IC: Jericho

Her muscles strained. Her back arched. Her moans came freely. Her hips drove back meeting his thrusts. To anyone watching it would seem that Ondine was involved in this session of lovemaking, but Jericho knew she was not. Ondine was gone. She had stepped out, taken a backseat, her mind was on lunchbreak. The reactions of her body now were just that reactions, unconscious and reflexive.

Ondine had left the building.

Years ago when she stepped out on him like this at times like this Jericho had resented it, but with the passage of time he had grown to understand and accept when it did.

Besides as her blood ran down his throat making the muscles of her cunt squeeze his driving cock within her he slipped into a similar state. The rock of bodies as they drove themselves higher and higher to a peak. The flow and taste of blood. It was all action, no thinking required. He couldn't step out like her, but he could get lost in the pulse, the rhythm, the primitive force of it all. She had taught him how.

Well, not entirely true. He had already known how whenever he fought someone, slaughtering someone. He lost all conscious thought, no thinking at all. It was just action and reaction and blood screaming for more in his veins. At times like this Ondine had just taught him such a talent could be applied elsewhere.

He was getting close now. His body strained slamming into hers as it strained to slam into his. And then he came like a shaken champagne bottle blowing its cork. He felt her body's answering climax. Her blood flowed into his mouth as his come flowed into her quivering sex. A beautiful and primordial circle.

When the action was over she came back to the driver's seat, removed herself to put back on her clothes. Jericho did the same without speaking to her and not even glancing over to Vince or Karena.

When Ondine crossed the room to the darkest corner he followed after her. He took her in his arms as they sat in the corner and the morning was coming. He held her close her head tucked against his shoulder.

"Sleep well, love," He said to her softly.

Outside the sky brightened and the bright california sun, lethally deadly to the four of them rose up over the horizon. Hours passed and Jericho kept her snuggled in close as they slept.

IC: Alexander Holt

He had learned much since the four of them had showed him the existance of vampires in the real world. He had learned of pain. Not hot, cold, sharp, or blunt, but the sudden violent ripping out of your life a missing peice of your soul left. Wounds healed and chicks digged scars, but the kind of pain they had set upon him had lasted, had dug in and ate away inside him like a parasite. And it kept on taking a little bite every day since, chewing, swallowing making a bigger and bigger hole.

Another thing the four of them had taught Alexander was that their was no justice. Not for them and not for himself either. Justice was punishment, and punishment was for those with a chance for rehabilitation. The four of them were monsters, incapable of having a conscious, incapable of anything close to rehabilitation. That was like teaching great white sharks to be vegetarians.

Neither was there punishment for him. He wasn't talking of the people he had sent as cannon fodder against the foursome at the vineyard. He had done worse, but that wasn't a pebble on the great scale of justice for his accounts. No, the damning thing he had done was long ago. Time. Six hours to be exact. If he had returned home early that night Claire and Hannah would've still been alive now. Six hours, damn him straight to hell.

No there was no justice, no punishment, not for him, because the fact that he had been late, he had survived and they had not had been punishment enough. What would someone do to punish him. Lock him up, beat him...no, there was no justice, no punishment...only retribution, vengeance.

People didn't understand vengeance. He hadn't until it became all he lived on for. Vengeance transformed him, gave him purpose when they had taken it before. Vengeance made him more than a man.

Alexander lowered the binoculars. They were holed up in the shaman's house for the day. He peered up at the bright california sky. There wasn't a cloud from horizon to horizon. Just one well aimed shot from his grenade launcher and they would be forced out in bright sunlight. With nowhere to run if he first took out their cars. His hand idly reached for the grenade launcher.

They thought vampires were superior because the were strong and fast and could take a real beating, but they were wrong. It didn't matter if it wasn't a wooden stake in the heart if a grenade took their head off. All their strength and speed and resilience wasn't worth shit if it was in an open field on a clear day like this. The sun would do his killing for him.

Fingers closed around the launcher. Claire. Hannah.

"Don't my friend."

He didn't look. He didn't have to. "It's not often you pop up during the day, shadow." He raised the launcher to sling it over his shoulder. "Why is that?"

"We have plans, Alexander," Shadow continued, "First we make them suffer, remember?"

He opened the launcher and began loading the grenades inside. "I'll make sure they do."

"Don't be rash," Shadow told him, "This would satisfy your vengeance but not mine."

His hand stilled in the midst of loading a shell. "You never actually told me what they did to you."

"You have an imagination, don't you? You've studied enough about them to know it's a very good reason to want my own form of vengeance on them."

He pulled the grenades out of the launcher and back onto the sling. "Alright, I'll be patient, but not forever."

"Thank you my friend."

Alexander then pulled out his cellphone and began dialing a number.

"What are you doing?"

"Ordering them some breakfast....Yes is this the county sheriff's office...yes, I'd like to report a man growing large crops of marijuana just off the highway...He may have special dispensation but I saw him selling some to two people and one looked only fourteen or fifteen...yes I think you should send a deputy out to look into it....no, my name is Alexander Holt and when your deputy does meet the people inside the farmhouse please have him tell them it was me that reported them..."

Once the conversation with the sheriff's office was over Shadow asked him, "Just what are you planning?"

"You said make them suffer," Alexander said climbing back into the jeep, "And from what you told me the stuff I poisoned Karena with makes a vamp awfully hungry. The others will feed. She'll have to watch and starve, or if she eats...you did say you wanted her to suffer more, right?" He started the jeep and pulled back onto the dirtroad towards the highway. Shadow as was his habit had vanished without a trace.

Vincent

Despite the nights activities Vincent wasn't tired. If anything he found himself more restless than before as things were quieting around them. His fun had been interrupted, and that always left him restless and unfulfilled. It was extremely frustrating, all that buildup and no finale. What was worse was that at the moment he couldn't do anything about it. The sun was up by now and while if forced to he could hunt during the day, he couldn't have fun.

His eyes drifted to where Ondine and Jericho were snuggled together. A slight smile touched his lips, Ondine. Thus far his greatest creation. When deprived of sensation memory would have to suffice. The first time they had seen her was purely accidental, they were scouting and a bunch of young women walked by. Ondine had looked in their direction, as though she could see exactly what they were, and gently moved the other girls away from them. Vincent had known immediately he wanted her. Not just to feed, not just to turn, but to paint his masterpiece. Turning her into what she had become had been a joy to do, and seeing her always reminded him of what he was capable of.

Still restless, Vincent stood and began looking through the supplies on the shelves. Odds were they'd need more of whatever the shaman had given her before they were through. Reaching over he nicked Karena's skin and licked the blood that welled in the cut. Just a taste so he could identify the compound that was used. He spat the taste from his mouth after a moment.

"Oh yes, I remember that one."

Long fingers brushed over the collection of bottles, vials, and boxes that held ingredients. It didn't take too long to find what he was looking for, but he didn't touch it. At the moment knowing where it was was enough. His eyes closed, and he let his mind wander. Wander to what he would have done to the huddled family if he'd only had the time...

Her sleep was restless. Her mind flashing back and forth between past and present. Russia... that little tavern inn they held up in for the day. It was entertaining in its own way as they felt little need to sleep as they each took their time. The young bartender was an intoxicating young lad that she had enjoyed deeply toying with till finally allowing fangs to carefully slither their path leading to the well spring pulsing under the skin of his neck. The lad had been laying with his back against her chest and shoulder completely relaxed his fingers twined with hers as her long blonde hair trailed down over his shoulder.

Her mind slipped back to the night before the party and dancing with Vincent... manipulating a guest to bring them to the party. Shopping with Ondine... It was a nearly perfect life with her little family. Nearly perfect could return to perfect with the torture and execution of Holt and any who seemed capable of helping him... that mortal fool could not have come up with poison by himself. Attempting to poison her and her family... the vermin would pay dearly long before he lost his life... perhaps though the perfect punishment for hunting them would be to be made into one of them... then hand him over to one of the more sadistic elders to teach him the error of his desire to kill vampires. Or perhaps a chained up immortal blood doll in some feeding den. So many dark and deadly thoughts lulled her into a slightly more restful sleep for a time.

Darkly Dreaming

There is a hint, just a hint, of teeth. Toothsome grin, evil visage. Eyes are wide, wider, widest and the screams, the screams. 'That's you. Before you became better.' 'Better than before.'

The nights were so dark then, when I was mortal. And the light was so bright. I miss the light. I always miss the light. But Vincent? He was everything bad, dirty, evil. And I knew it. I couldn't avoid him. He stalked me. He hurt me. He broke me and then...he rebuilt me. From the ground up. Made me strong. Made me fight. So many fights. I think he broke me repeatedly, but I can't recall.

There is a flash. Bright, bright. A siren? No. Not yet. 'Not yet?' 'That's what I said.'

Ondine moans, tosses. Turns. And then resumes her noiseless, motionless death. No breath. No movement. Nothing. Jericho does not register. But she dreams of him.

She sees him. Beautiful. Hurting. Eyes swimming in pain. Part of her wants to wipe the pain away. Swallow it. Swallow him. So she moves in, all solicitous grace. All innocent and sweet until the hunger rises, rises and drowns them, both of them. After? She wanted him for her own...so when death beckoned him, she stopped and dripped primrose promises down his throat. He took them, oh so greedily, and never looked back. She loved him and he was HERS.

'Like you are Vincent's?' 'Not the same thing...'

Gasping. Rising toward consciousness. Then blackness returns, swallows her all up.

That man. Alexander. The hunter. Scary. But an almost luminous goodness that he doesn't know he has. Saves him. Segues into~

Family gone and eyes. Only eyes. They are dead. So dead and his heart...beats, beats, beats. So strong. She hears it, all the time, whenever he is near. His goodness repels and fascinates. The others? What do they REALLY know about loss? Them with their sanity? He KNOWS loss, like her. She respects him...fears him, wants to take him into the abyss and watch him shatter so she can...'build, break, fashion, help, hurt...' 'MOLD.' It would be so beautiful.

Flash. Sirens? Now? 'No. Soon.' 'Wake up.' No.

The sun traverses the sky. Travels ever onward and Ondine is dead yet dreaming...but her mind knows. Something is coming.

IC: Deputy Lonnie MacReynolds

Deputy Lonnie MacReynolds had checked the cabin behind the hill hidden in the woods on Crazy Dan's property to see if everything of his was still there. Crazy old Dan as the locals called him owned a huge tract of these woods but only ever used a fifth of it Everything was where he had left it, the cage he left his prey in. The table he tied them down in. The knives. The unmarked graves behind the cabin.

The news called Lonnie the Ripper in the city. The police there and the FBI were turning the city upside down looking for him, but Lonnie was smarter than all of them put together.

He had taken and killed over thirty women at the cabin-no not women-dirty filthy whores. He preferred the blondes-spent his time with them, but he had killed brunettes and redheads too just to throw off those dumbass FBI informers. There's no way they'd ever discover him. Those idiots were wasting their time looking for some nonexistant psychotic hobo.

Lonnie had always been this way ever since when he was just a little boy playing in the yard and a cute little puppy came up to him. The feeling he got as he took a rock and smushed the puppy's head in with it was indescribable, it made him feel good, like a god must feel.

Eversince he'd been a wolf in sheep's clothing, hunting, stalking, and taking his prey like a predator.

Now all that was threatened though. Someone had bombed the vineyard down the highway from Dan's bringing unwanted attention to the area from the law and Dan had guests over. Lonnie had spotted their cars when he drove by earlier. Crazy old Dan never had guests, and though the vineyard had taken all the attention someone would eventually check out the complaint made and perhaps find the cabin. Lonnie couldn't allow that. It was time to silence Crazy old Dan, past time really. And his guests too.

He pulled his patrol car up to Dan's house and came up to the door. He knocked asking for Dan to open the door a hand ready at his holster. No one came. Lonnie knocked again. No one came still. He looked through a window and found it was boarded up. That raised some suspicions to Lonnie's mind. Maybe Dan's guests weren't just stoners.

He went around the house. The sun was beginning to set and the house cast a long shadow over the backyard. When he approached the back door it opened and a woman stepped forward.

The first thing Lonnie noticed was the pale-gold locks of hair, and didn't go much further than that. This one he had to have in the cabin.

"Good evening, Miss," He said glancing past her into the kitchen, "Is Dan in the house?"

IC: Jericho

Jericho held Ondine close as they slept in their shadowed corner. He could feel her stirring in her sleep as the dreams came to her. She always dreamed when she slept and reflexively his arm tightened around her.

Sleep came upon him in fits and starts. And Jericho dreamed of the radio station they had hit in Kansas. It was a station that played only pop music. Jericho hated pop, Vincent did too, but not as personally as Jericho did. It always brought back memories of Moira. The self-important bitch that had taken his heart and crushed it.

So after Ondine found him and turned him the two of them had paid pretty little Moira a visit. He had ripped her heart out, literally, and then he gave it as a present to Ondine. Then they had fucked for the first time in Moira's bed and ontop of the piano the pitiful, pathetic mortal Jericho had died in.

Ondine hadn't killed him when she bit him and made him a Vampire. His murderer was Moira.

It was a good dream.

Vincent

Both Jericho and Ondine were sleeping quietly, Karena was a bit more restless, and Vincent was lost in his thoughts. He didn't sleep much, not really, and not at all like the rest of them. He was resting though, and his mind was wandering through dark things. In this state Vincent was aware of things, like the sounds coming from outside the building. There were people at the vineyard now, cleaning up the mess no doubt. Explosions were such a wonderfully convenient way to cover up their fun.

Then there was the man moving around the building. A police officer, calling out for the owner of the store. Vincent was also aware that Karena moved towards the back door. Bad choice for the man, the sun was facing the front of the store and the shadows in the back were long. He wondered idly if any of the family he'd left at the vineyard had survived. If Karena hadn't been sick he would have liked to take the time to find out for sure. His fun had been interrupted.

Vincent was lost in those thoughts when Karena opened the door. His mind instantly came back to himself, the smell had changed pretty drastically. Lust, that was obvious given that Karena was attractive. But there was something else, something that caused the corners of Vincent's mouth to twitch upwards. Just a hint, but when his ice blue eyes opened and he looked towards the door he thought he was right.

"He wants to see Dan Karena, it would be wrong to keep him waiting. Please show him in."

This might be fun after all.

Finally back mostly to her sane mind she felt the tinge of hunger but it would have to wait. She walked past a mirror there in the hippie's little home and quickly began finding something to straighten her hair and clothes. Once she was close to perfect she noticed it... A heartbeat... near by. A venomous dark smile curled her lips. Then hearing the knock at the door she slipped over to the back door and opening it her smile was that of angelic as she looked the officer over.

She nodded to him the smile never leaving her lips. She watched his eyes... there was something deep within them something he though that he hid. Perhaps from humans he did... but she was far from human she smelled the death about him she saw the look of predator sizing up his prey. She knew the look well she had mastered it then mastered veiling it in innocence and warmth. She would have fun with this one... show him there are much darker evils in the world than him... pity he would learn that lesson far too late to put it to practice... no he would not be able to use the lesson her hunger was growing too fast for that.

Vincent's voice then cut into her mind and paused her thoughts as she glanced back to answer him.

Let Dan sleep love I will talk to the officer for now... its alright.

Glancing back to him she smiled.

Is there some problem that you have awakened us Officer.

She bit her lip as if looking concerned slowly and methodically her movements and mannerisms letting her slowly lull him into the false sense of her innocence and defenseless form. She always loved hunting the hunter while letting the hunter think he held all the cards.

IC: Lonnie MacReynold's

He went around the house. The sun was beginning to set and the house cast a long shadow over the backyard. When he approached the back door it opened and a woman stepped forward.

The first thing Lonnie noticed was the pale-gold locks of hair, and didn't go much further than that. This one he had to have in the cabin.

"Good evening, Miss," He said glancing past her into the kitchen, "Is Dan in the house?" Within the house a man stood in the doorway to the living room of the farmhouse. Lonnie was already planning on ways to quickly remove his interference from his play with the blonde.

The man actually smiled what Lonnie could only describe as a wicked smile saying to the blonde, "He wants to see Dan Karena, it would be wrong to keep him waiting. Please show him in."

Lonnie thought that feral smile was ironic considering the wicked smile his hunting knife would give the man would be his last. Then as the woman was screaming-because they always screamed-he'd start to have his fun with her.

she turned her head to regard the man. "Let Dan sleep love," This Karena told him, "I will talk to the officer for now... its alright."

This Karena turned back to smile at Lonnie like the filthy whore just begging him for it that she was. "Is there some problem that you have awakened us Officer."

Lonnie looked at her all innocent and defenseless. She really had no idea what was going to happen to her. He smiled his most charming and disarming smile that he practiced long and hard on in front of a mirror though it didn't quite hide the crocodile waiting in the water gleam to his eyes as he smiled at her.

He took a step inside saying with a false cheerfulness, "Well ma'am, Someone named Holt called the sheriff's office and said Crazy old Dan was selling his Marijuana to kids."

He looked around the kitchen eyes centering back on the man in the doorway to the living room. "Where is Dan, anyway? How do you two know him?"

Vincent

Vincent could smell it on him now, the poor fool. Karena had taken more lives than this human could comprehend, had in fact spent four hundred years doing little else. And Karena liked her games. Vincent sat back on the table and put his feet on the back of a chair, crossing them at the ankles.

"As you wish, he's all yours. Just don't forget your condition."

Normally Vincent would have resumed resting, but he needed to be sure Karena didn't feed. They would need most of the night to travel to Lucian's, and he didn't know what would happen if she accelerated the process again. So instead he just got to watch for now.

Holt... ohh what was he up to now she thought... with in the moment that Vincent spoke her mind came up with a way to endear this cop to her even more and make herself look even more vulnerable to the predator before her. She was going to have so much fun with him.

Her eyes grew fearful she was almost completely shaking as she repeated the name with clear and deep fear behind it though whispering as if she did not want Vincent to hear the name.

Holt... He... He can't be here...

She was clearly "terrified" as she moved to lean against the wall by the door to try to hide her "shaking" from Vincent.

He... he can't... I can't go back there...

She had seen the actions of far too many battered women on the run to make her act for this cop beyond "real". As far as any mortal could tell she was true and genuine in her fear of this man Holt finding her. Terrified eyes looked to the Lonnie as she bit her lip.

Dan... We... we were told it would be safe here. That Holt wouldn't find me here.

She could hear and smell his interest intent and his blood. She brushed her hair back behind her ear as she looked to him still biting her lip. More to try to keep the hunger at bay but it fit into this little manipulation.

IC: Lonnie MacReynolds

"As you wish, he's all yours. Just don't forget your condition," The man said to Karena. It irked him and Lonnie couldn't wait for the quick stab of his knife to be rid of him. Then he could move on to the much more enjoyable use of his time with the blonde. Hell he may even just use his 9 mil though that was just as messy and in the long run was harder for him to clean up after. It would be quicker and more immediate however.

He took a step inside saying with a false cheerfulness, "Well ma'am, Someone named Holt called the sheriff's office and said Crazy old Dan was selling his Marijuana to kids."

"Holt... He... He can't be here..." She said as if Lonnie had told her Count Dracula was just out the door. Her watched her back into a corner stammering. "He... he can't... I can't go back there..."

He stepped forward happy to take the oppurtunity to get in close to Karena-the better to control her once Lonnie made his move. "It's alright miss, you won't be harmed," He lied, "Who is this Holt?" He put a hand on her shoulder, a gesture he knew most would assume was protective rather than actually controlling.

That Holt whoever he was was another potential witness Lonnie would have to silence, eventually.

"Dan... We... we were told it would be safe here. That Holt wouldn't find me here." Karena told him her voice a pleading note and pulled her closer against her. Now to make his move.

He looked around the kitchen eyes centering back on the man in the doorway to the living room. "Where is Dan, anyway? How do you two know him?" He looked over to the man who oddly hadn't stirred from his spot in the doorway to the living room. Not even when his lady-friend had clearly been distressed. That stirred a little bit of suspicion in Lonnie.

It was time. His hand slipped to his holstered pistol. He brought it up in a practiced motion leveled pointing at the man. The bullet hit him center mass. It was sure to puncture a lung or heart and would be instantly fatal.

The next moment his hand had a fistful of Karena's hair wrenching her head back. The barrel of the gun he had used to kill her friend pressed to under her chin. If he fired it would splatter her brains all over Crazy old Dan's kitchen backsplash.

"Just who do you think you're fooling, bitch," He spat into her face. "You worthless peice of..." Lonnie trailed off his furious insult. She wasn't screaming, which was extremely wrong because they always, always screamed. Yet Karena didn't even look startled.
