Fangsome Foursome

Aww am I not playing the game right?

She smirked as he looked back at her she purred as that confidence drained from his eyes. Hers locking first with his eyes then with his soul as she spoke.

Drop the gun... Now.

Her tone as cold and dead as the grave when she spoke. Her hands moving one hand moved to her hair and wrenching his hand from there as her other hand gripped his shoulder in a clearly controlling manner as she began guiding him towards the table moving the massive Knife block closer to the edge to better reach it.

Vincent love are you alright?

She asked as she took the handcuffs and any vinyl restraints he had on him first and then with surprising ease and speed attached the handcuffs to his arms locking them together and then using the vinyl ties like a short chain to attach the handcuffs to the cross support bar under the table.

So Officer whats your name... I find I can tailor my actions to better suit the person if I know their name... don't you agree? Or did you ever know any of your victims names?

She for now could still contain the hunger but the growing emotions and heart rate in her current toy were making it harder to do. Licking her lips as she glanced from him to Vincent.. Precious Love was wounded... The scent of his ever divine blood and the changing emotions from the cop that she could nearly taste in the air... Karena purred sadistically as she watched his eyes.

Oh yes officer I am afraid there are bigger meaner... darker... evils in the world that you... and you just tried to attack one of them and shot another... you might come to regret shooting him instead of me... He is the nice one... Isn't that right lover?

Her fangs now visible as she licked her lips and reached for a knife. He had tortured women he was going to be tortured and death would not come easy for this pathetic slime... she would make sure of that.

Vincent

Vincent noticed the motion when the cop went for his gun, but he decided to just wait and take it. One more slug coming out today wouldn't really hurt that much. The slug hit him in the chest, and his body moved with the impact but he remained standing. Thankfully his shirt had enough holes already that one more wouldn't matter.

It took much effort for him not to laugh out loud as Karnea approached the man. He loved watching her work, she was so sweet, so deceptive when she wanted to be. The look in his eyes was wonderful, and Vincent shed his shirt.

"Ow."

Vincent sat and found the forceps and began digging out the slug.

"Poor dumb bastard aren't you?"

IC: Lonnie MacReynolds

"Just who do you think you're fooling, bitch," He spat into her face. "You worthless peice of..." Lonnie trailed off his furious insult. She wasn't screaming, which was extremely wrong because they always, always screamed. Yet Karena didn't even look startled.

"Aww am I not playing the game right?" She purred with a confident smirk on her face. Her eyes matched his and Lonnie could no longer see the helpless innocent woman. Instead he was very much holding Jaws by the tailfin now.

"Drop the gun... Now." If jaws had a voice that would be the tone it used.

He wavered a moment. The barrel backed off from under her chin for a just a second before Lonnie caught himself and resumed the press of the 9 millimeter's muzzle to her jaw. "You don't order me around bitc...."

One hand reached up behind her clamping over his hand twisting. She was incredibly strong. He grimaced saying, "Argh." His fingers opened up as she pulled his hand away and as he rolled back to alleviate the pain in his twisted arm.

The gun finally backed off from her....not because she intimidated him, no, not that, not this uppity blond bitch.....His hand holding the pistol backed away from her chin only by reflex...it was not because this bitch actually intimidated him...no, not that, that was ridiculous...people feared Lonnie MacReynolds, Lonnie did not fear anyone....not some...uppity whorebitch...yeah that was what she wa...

"Vincent love are you alright?" She said turning those suddenly cold unwavering eyes to her dead lover.

So she wasn't the big bad after all, if she thought for one moment that Vincent had survi....The body that should be limp in the doorway making a pool of blood on the linoleum floortiles got up and shed the shirt.

Lonnie gaped eyes wide. He had hit him there was a hole dead center of his chest in fact there were other holes...the man should be a corpse, but here he was laughing.

"Ow," He chuckled sitting on the kitchen counter and calmly began to dig out the bullet Lonnie had tried to kill him with from his own chest.

Karena's hands grabbed his handcuffs and zip-ties from his belt. "So Officer whats your name," She asked.

"L-Lonnie," He said trying to force the quaver out of his tone.

"I find I can tailor my actions to better suit the person if I know their name." She continued, "Don't you agree? Or did you ever know any of your victims names?"

"They were worthless whores," He said struggling to rise and break the steel cuffs. He'd show her. "They deserved no other names."

How was this happening? How was Vincent still allive? How was Karena so strong? This couldn't be happening. "What are you?"

He looked at her frozen for a moment he thought he saw two of her teeth sticking out further then they should almost as if she were a...no that's impossible...they only existed in bad movies...and stupid gothic novels....she couldn't be a...

She looked down at him smiling cruelly showing the pair of fangs in her mouth. "Oh yes officer I am afraid there are bigger meaner... darker... evils in the world than you," She said licking her lips around those sharp wicked fangs as she reached over for the Dan's butcher block of knives, "and you just tried to attack one of them and shot another... you might come to regret shooting him instead of me... He is the nice one... Isn't that right lover?"

Karena

A few slices of claws and knives and Lonnie lay naked before her. That fanged sadistic smile never leaving her face... her eyes a sparkle with dark thoughts and desires.

So... Lonnie was it... What did you do to your victims? I get the feeling you felt threatened and moved far too quickly and sloppy with us so what would you have liked to have done... pet?

Twirling the knife in one hand her other hand absently toying with his manhood. While it would appear an unconscious action she did in fact know exactly what she was going to do. once this little prick thought he was going to get something from all of this beyond death he would be sadly mistaken.

She continued to talk with him using the knife tip to trace over him in such a way to excite the correct nerves getting this "monster" begging for release offering her everything including turning him and him being her slave for all time. It was at that point that she had heard all she needed taking the sharpest knife she could find she smiled moving to the end of the table where his legs were and climbing onto the table her legs straddling his as she winked at him.

You have been so helpful Lonnie... now for your... surprise...

With a lick of her lips and leaning down close the knife unseen till its felt... a simple swipe severing the firmness from the unworthy body then the sac from the unworthy body... the desire and fear flooded blood spraying over her face as she purrs and then as his mouth is open screaming once the pain has registered she places Lonnie's own manhood and sac in his mouth to silence him.

Love if you are hungry you should feed quickly before he bleeds out.

The blood spraying over her forced the hunger to overtake her mind as she suddenly shifted and her fangs moved to sink into his arm. She could not withstand the hunger any longer. Eyes wild her hair mussed from Lonnies attempted attack and covered in the spraying blood... She looked to Vincent with a smile there was more than blood hunger in her eyes.

IC: Lonnie MacReynolds

"Oh yes officer I am afraid there are bigger meaner... darker... evils in the world than you,"

Karena began tearing and slicing his clothes off of Lonnie, and in a moment he lay bound on the kitchen table stripped naked before her.

"Let me go." He ordered a note of panic tinging his voice. He pulled at the cuffs and ties until they bit into his skin.

She smiled at him with sadistic glee. Worse than rejecting him, she ignored his words saying, "So... Lonnie was it... What did you do to your victims? I get the feeling you felt threatened and moved far too quickly and sloppy with us so what would you have liked to have done... pet?"

"You demon-bitch," He pulled and tugged on the cuffs wracking his body on managing to scoot the table an inch over the linoleum tiles of the floor. "I'll get out of this and you'll pay. I'll slice you up and make you bleed....I'll cut strips off of..."

She took hold of his cock idly toying with it and despite Lonnie's predicament her skillful fingers were gradually stoking him to hardness which didn't lessen when she picked up a chef's knife from the kitchen butcherblock twirling it expertly in her hand.

He gasped as the cold metal of the knife's edge slid over him like the tongue of a lover. In the persuing moment he told her everything wincing and cringing as she coaxed and cajoled more and more information from him.

She learned about the unused cabin behind the hill, about the unmarked graves he left the bodies in, about how the terror in their eyes as they realized they were about to die horribly made him feel powerful-more than human, about how he had gradually learned to slice shallow so they'd squeal like the worthless sows they were as he raped them, about how he slit their throats to silence their piggish squealing forever when he was done with them, how he took polaroid pictures of them and how he loved to burn the pictures after burying the bodies so he felt like he was erasing them from existence entirely...Damn her to hell he told her everything...and then when she had wrung every last drop of truth from him....

Then there was pain and terror. Lonnie's eyes were the ones wide in horror. Lonnie was the one squealing like a stuck pig silenced forever by the reunion with the body part she had severed stuffed inside his bellowing mouth. Blood was squirting out of him, emptying from him. Making a growing pool on the table's surface. It was dripping onto the floor like some sort of obscene water fountain.

Then there was coldness, a heaviness to his body. His vision narrowed then dimmed. He couldn't breath....Lonnie couldn't make out what the two god-damned vampires were saying...he couldn't....couldn't...

Vincent

His voice, that poor dumb bastard, was high pitched. Fear, fear had gripped his heart with icy tendrils and wasn't going to let up. Vincent shook his head slowly, chuckling to himself with a bit of disgust. They were all just so... uninspired. You could trace why they did what they did, predict what they would do next, and in the end they were all so damn similar. It was sad really, just how typical they all were when you really looked at them.

"It used to be an art you know, now a days," Vincent sighed heavily to himself, "now they all just seem to blur together."

Perhaps a discourse for the next assembled group of bodies, why these damaged people who needed to kill could never truly understand evil. They were too bogged down by their petty rituals and history to really understand. If Vincent were interested in this poor sap and making an example of him he'd stop the bleeding right now, cut out his tongue, then dump him in an asylum with a pretty blonde nurse and him on 24/7 suicide watch. Now that was evil, it wasn't just taking a life.

In the end, killing was just so merciful...

It wasn't until Karena spoke that his internal reverie snapped loose and his sparkling blue eyes took in the scene before him. In an instant he'd moved to her, kicked the arm away from her fangs, and held her as his eyes blazed into her.

"No no, none for you just yet. Trust me, the hunger is easier to deal with from what I saw earlier."

The blood was thick with fear, the smell of it hanging in the room before Vincent dropped his mouth over the wound that was spurting blood. The less of it around the better. It took almost no time at all before the body was drained and Vincent was holding Karena again. A kill always got her horny as hell.

"I do love watching you play you know."

His fingertips trailed along her shoulder, teasing the neckline of her top. With a sudden motion he tore the garment from her body, his face changed and his fangs manifested. His lips crushed into hers and he lifted her, dropping her across the slightly warm corpse of her victim as he climbed up after her.

Feral... primal... whatever you call it... it was the air around them in this moment. The scent of blood and death bringing out an even more primal hunger... Lust. Her fangs bared as she smiled to Vincent feeling his for an instant tender caress and then the trappings of clothing gone. Fingernails locking in the waistband of his pants and ripping them from him as he climbed atop the pathetic little killers corpse. She would have done more... toyed with him more but he had gotten greedy and sloppy so he did not deserve anyone's best.

She reached down onto the table tracing her fingers in the cooling blood and traced it over Vincent's chest as she almost purred her eyes locked in his as she nipped at his lips.

Mmm yes Precious love... Distraction... from the hunger.

She could smell the desire wafting from Vincent and smiled she was so very hungry for something more after this kill as always and it was perfect with her not being able to feed it would keep her occupied till they were able to travel once more. Fingernails moved to slither down his chest before pulling him close into a kiss so they could then taunt the muscles in his back as well.

Vincent

Her fingers ran over the taut muscles of his back as Vincent rested his weight on his arms so he hovered above her. One slipped between them and pulled up her dress before undoing the fly of his jeans and pushing them down his hips. His lips claimed hers again, hot and fierce as his erection pushed against her body.

They'd danced this dance so many times, yet each time was somehow different. Vincent found her heated opening and pushed almost savagely into her body. His eyes still sparkled when their kiss broke, one hand latching about her throat and squeezing as they began to move together.

Karena purred as her hand moved to his throat also. The combative nature of their mating or when they desired a more tender approach... every time was so unique her other hand moving to trail claws a little more rough down his chest... seemed lover wanted some more rough and tumble play... fine fingernails finding the more recent bullet wound as it healed and sank an fingernail into the wound as she pressed rough into the kiss.

Her legs wrapping tight around him as she pulled him tight against her. Her hunger growing more as she smiled sadistically to him as they moved as one.

Vincent

Vincent could feel her claws scraping down his chest, her other hand toying with one of the exit wounds that were starting to heal. A growl bloomed low in his throat as his hand squeezed tighter about her neck. His hips were moving with her now, the freshly dead corpse still had enough give to be comfortable with each thrust.

Her legs clamped around his body and he grinned, moving faster now with her encouragement, squeezing tighter about her neck, as his other hand held the majority of his weight up.

Karena was always fast after a kill, though the sex was more an anticlimax, a way to wind down after shedding blood. Other times it was during, or before, or whenever they damn well pleased. His hand left her neck, and his claws instead sank into her thigh, caressing almost as his lips crashed onto hers again.

Growling right back at him Karena wanted more from this mating... holding his hips tight to hers with her legs her own hips bucking up against him as she nipped at his lips with every rough hungry kiss. Her hand moved to grip his hair as they kissed. Her childer her lover her precious love everything else fell away it was solely the two of them with no other reality around them.

And then it began... her body undulating in that serpentine way... the belly dancer deep within beginning to command her movements urging him intoxicating every fiber of this moment for her. Her eyes half closed sparkling with lust and hunger as both were drawn closer by the most primal of forces to that climax.

Vincent

It was obvious when Karena began to climax, her whole body moved in the most delightful way. She resembled a serpent, slithering and gripping and moving with every muscle. It was intoxicating, his mind briefly flashed to the time in China, he'd kept her in the throes of climax for well over a day just to watch the motion of her body.

This time it just meant they were both close. Vincent drove his mouth onto her shoulder, fangs sinking into the flesh and drinking of her arousal. It tasted hot, just a little bitter, and rich. His hips drove faster, his own climax timed perfectly with hers as his cock pulsed into her body.

She growled feeling fangs... it felt wonderful but something in the back of her mind wondered if now the toxin would affect him. She tried to push his mouth away but orgasm had taken too strong a hold on the situation and there was little she could do as her body undulated as her eyes seemed to glow though half lidded. She pressed up harder as she felt herself topple over that edge into the bliss. Fingernails sinking into his ass cheeks as she growled out again.

Vincent

Vincent took only the one mouthful before he felt Karena push at him. He smiled and pulled back, spitting a bit out to one side.

"You should have more faith in me."

His hips slammed home one final time, encouraged by her fingernails digging into the flesh of his ass. This time his lips found hers, a deep almost violent kiss as they came together in a moment of bloodlust fueled ecstasy.

Have... to... look after...

His lips and hers locking once more as that ecstasy took them away. Bodies one... minds one...

The final convulsion washing through her as she loosed her legs from his waist and her nails form his ass she purred laying there with him the body beneath them no longer feeling as comfortable as before.

Vincent

Believe it or not, fucking on a dead body loses the appeal rather quickly, even for vampires. Vincent pulled from Karena's body and helped her down. His lips touched hers again then he grabbed the dead body and dragged it into a back room with Dan's.

"The two of them should be nice and comfortable back there."

Vincent came back into the main room and resumed relaxing. This time he pulled Karena against him so they could rest together. Once the sun was lower they could burn this place down and head towards Lucians.

She laughed at his words and found tried to repair her clothes to look in some form of presentable before curling against Vincent with a smile and falling to sleep in a deep far more restful sleep. A soft smile curling her lips as she still fought hard that inward battle to not feed. The need for rest made it a bit easier this time than earlier no matter how short the nap would be.

IC: Jericho

The sun was just slipping below the horizon when that internal clock all vampires had went off in Jericho's head. He awoke yawning. He looked down at Ondine still slumbering her head against his chest.

She was always so beautiful when she slept.

He began to sidle away. The motions began to stir his O. awake. He kissed the top of her head, whispering, "You sleep in love, I'll get the car warm for us."

He rose up noting the sweet and sour smell of drying blood in the air. He followed it around the corner to the kitchen where he found Vince and Grandma Karena lying on the linoleum floor. A dead body was on the kitchen table and a pool of blood from a ghastly wound between his legs.

"No one said anything about ordering in," He chuckled leaning against the door and not noticing or caring about the bullethole in it. "You left only some cold lifeless leftovers for me and Ondine. That was very selfish." He wagged a finger at them scoldingly.

He shrugged, "Well we'll stop at a gas station on the roadside for a bite to eat on the way...." He looked at them, "I assume you want us heading to this Lucian bastard's place to cure Grandma K. don't you El Capitan?" The last words were tinged with a snarky bite that was fairly par for the course between Vince and Jericho.

He went outside to the SUV he had stolen from the vineyard. Then he rummaged through the SUV's contents. In back Jericho found a baby's carseat. He didn't remember any baby at the vineyard. It bothered him that he might have left a kid orphaned. If he had known he might have killed a mother and a father he would've at least gone to the effort of finding and killing their kid too right along with them. He might be a sadistic murdering monster, but he did have principles afterall.

Soon Vince and the girls had joined him inside the SUV. He made a point to put the radio on a station that played alot of bubblegum pop just because he knew Vincent hated it-well to be fair Jericho hated it too-but as Manilow's Mandy came along he smiled wickedly....Vincent really really really hated popmusic and if listening to it was torture to him, then Jericho was automatically a fan of it.

He pulled them out onto the highway as the second floor to the hippie's house collapsed under the flames. "So which way Mi Capitan?"

IC: Lucian

The evening was young and Lucian had settled in to his parlor. The wingback chair he sat comfortably in was not a throne, but no one observing the tableu would mistake who was king here. His people, his children, the extensions of his will stood waiting for his slightest request made to them.

A younger member of them sat on a stool violin and bow in hand as she played Beethoven's Ode to Joy.

His eyes closed listening intently to the melody. Fingers followed the tune in the air.

He had been there when the famed Beethoven had first played this. It had moved him to weeping for its beautiful simplicity. Why he even let the family he had intended to eat go. Once the music was over, and the sentimentality it had stirred in him was gone, he had chased them down and rent them all limb from limb, but Lucian had never forgotten how the maestro's music had managed to stir him and now-

Joy hit the wrong chord, and the music soured.

"Stop," he said and everyone in the room flinched.

Joy, looked up at him not knowing the tightrope her life balanced upon.

"I asked you to learn to play this particular song, and only this song," He said casually.

The hand holding the strattavarius clutched it tight to her chest. The others held their breaths as she and, "I am still learning."

"You've had weeks to learn it, little Joy," He rose and approached her, "But that wasn't what has dissapointed me." He reached out his hand and brushed his fingertips over her cheek. "Do you know what has me so very dissapointed?"

She bit her lip the tiny newborn fangs poking out over her bottom lip. "No."

"You're playing was technically correct, little Joy, but...." He thumb brushed away a tear rolling down her cheek. She was beginning to understand how precarious the situation was for her. "...but it had no emotion behind it. There was no sense of joy. It was a desecration of the maestro's genius." He knelt so they were eye to eye now. "Little Joy, what is wrong? Can't you feel the joy Beethoven was trying to convey? Aren't you happy here?"

"Well...I..." She said her voice small and her eyes wide with the sheer terror, "...Master...I..."

"Answer my question, little Joy," He ordered in a tone that spoke of little patience for prevarications, "Are you happy?"

Her voice faltered and her eyes closed as if accepting the inevitable moment, "N-n-no Master."

His face transformed into a rictus snarled demonic visage. "Then allow me to end your misery." Her head came off with an easy twist of his hands. Her body made a pile of dust on the floor. The priceless antique Stratavarius violin bouncing off the concrete of the abandoned fallout shelter floor.

He gestured for Orlando to come closer the big strong minion approached from the door.

"Start looking for another Joy," He said turning to walk back to his wingback chair, "And for your sake Orlando you better hope she has musical talent."

"At once Master," Orlando bowed taking a step as Chauncey came inside the parlor and whispered into his ear.

"What is it, Orlando?"

"There is an SUV coming down the road, Master."

Lucian nodded. "My prodigal children are returning to me. Open the doors and show them to me." He clapped his hands together, "Children put on your best, we are about to have houseguests." His coven, his minions, his children scurried about to make his request of them a reality.

He sat back in his throne and pointed at the pile of dust on the floor. "And would someone please take sweep up poor sad little Joy before they arrive and think I keep my house in dissaray."

Vincent

Vincent was more or less awake when Jericho came in and noticed the fresh body. He couldn't keep the smile from his face as Jericho pretended to scold them. For as much as the two of them played back and forth, if the animosity had any real depth they'd have long ago killed one another.

"Much as I dislike Lucien, yes we need to be going that direction."

Jericho had never met Lucien, one of the very few things Vincent envied about him. Vincent could still vividly recall his first meeting with Lucien. Karena had been sired by Lucien, and when she'd created Vincent she'd wanted to show off how well she'd done. The meeting had gone badly, but Vincent had been so young then he'd seen no problem insulting the elder vampire. Hell, he'd laughed during the resulting beating. Lucien was too old, that was the long and the short of it from Vincent's perspective. He was comfortable, comfortable hiding in caves, comfortable feeding, Lucien might well be the most powerful vampire but he had no ambition. Evil hadn't left the same mark on Lucien that it had on Vincent.

It didn't take long to rig the place to burn, though Vincent did grab the vial of the drug in case Karena became unmanageable during the trip. Soon enough the place was burning and the SUV was heading east, towards Lucien's current hole. Naturally Jericho chose pop music, which was enough to grate on Vincent's nerves at the best of times. Then Manilow came on. Vincent had a serious love/hate relationship with Manilow, the man actually had some talent, but so much of his stuff was designed just to sell instead of to be music. It did provide him with an opportunity though.

"Well you came and you gave without taking, but I sent you away, oh Mandy."

Vincent had a wonderful singing voice when he chose to use it, though something a little more atonal and low would serve his purposes here just fine. If Jericho wanted to play games to pass the time Vincent was more than amenable.

"Well you kissed me and stopped me from shaking, and I need you today, or Moira."

He waited for a beat or two.

"Oh, sorry, momentary slip of the tongue," Vincent smiled very wolfishly, "Into the mountains. Lucien's in an old bomb shelter out there."

The vampire pulled at his longish black hair, his eyes on the mountains that rose on the horizon. Lucien was technically his grandfather, though the thought made him sick. A smile parted his lips in the darkness, the kind of smile that would send chills down the spine of a child who caught a glimpse from the corner of their eye. Vincent was much stronger now, he might enjoy seeing Lucien again afterall.

She had tried once they were in the SUV and on their way to try to sleep again. Wanting to do all she could to not have to deal with that vile chemical that they had taken from the little hippie cabin. It had been fun to watch it burn and the resulting fire that bounced from plant to plant. Had her condition not been as it was she would have had more fun torturing the poor cop much slower but the hunger had to be fought and had to be contained... unfortunately that was becoming harder to do.

About half way to Lucien's she reached to Vincent for the vial. She felt like she was burning up again... the fever... she hissed. Feeling so hungry and so tired. Her mind was once more slipping between the past and the present as her head lay against the seat. Her eyes from time to time closing as she allowed sleep to claim her.

She remembered so many things in these little naps. When she first met Vincent helping him gain the power he needed and then watching him as he transformed Ondine and then her mind slipped back to Lucien and the happiness they had before she had created her own family. One of the few that called him Lucien instead of father or anything else... something that lingered from when they first met and him "saving" her from that horrid fever that sought to kill her so long ago. Only now to get to relive that torture of fever and her mind taking her where it wished into confusion and pain.

Opening her eyes once more she saw her precious love and smiled softly to him trying to speak...

Vincent...

Ondine~into the Lion's den

Her love had awakened her with a soft kiss, a whispered word. He always did so, especially when they were caught out and she was not home, surrounded by their things. He knew just the right way to get her up, moving, functioning. She loved him for that more than anything else.

With a sigh, she stood, stretched, scratched and dressed. Her almond shaped eyes saw the body which had been laid upon and bled dry. Her sensitive nose picked up the fleeting scents of lust, blood, pain, anger. The mortal must have come here with murder in his heart. Poor thing, hadn't even really gotten the chance to suffer. Karena had obviously did him in, quickly.

Eventually, she slipped outside and joined the others. She was mostly together and trying very hard to not fall into the morass of self loathing that usually happened after a kill or two...or three. So far, it was working.

Her love had turned on the radio. Good. The music soothed away the jagged edges and helped erase the scents of blood and lust that still clung to Vincent and Karena. She had no idea why that was true. And she was fine. She was FINE. And then she heard her maker, singing.

"Well you came and you gave without taking, but I sent you away, oh Mandy."

She gave a slight smile. She knew he could sing much better than that. But it soothed her, caused her heart joy...or would if she still had a heart.

"Well you kissed me and stopped me from shaking, and I need you today, or Moira."

'What the fuck!' 'Shh. Stop it.' 'I want to beat him.' 'You can't.' 'Still want to.' 'Yes.'

Almond shaped eyes focused on him, her maker, while her lips pulled tight to avoid the hiss she could feel, rising like a whistle from an overheated tea kettle. She hoped he stopped. Her nerves were not strong enough to withstand the need to rip his fucking throat out. Jericho was hers. HERS. Hurting him, in any way, not allowed.

"Oh, sorry, momentary slip of the tongue."

Nothing for long moments. And Ondine settled back, her eyes slipping closed, hiding the red she knew was showing. He gave directions. Her Sire gave directions...and for the first time in a very long time, she recalled when his voice had made her want to puke, from loathing, from fear. Not good.

xXx

They arrived at their destination with no issues. Ondine had stayed calm, collected, for her childe and for the woman who was responsible for this trip, Karena. For her Sire, even, though she still harbored a bit of resentment, a touch of anger that brightened her eyes.

Lucien's place. They were here. And that was good, wasn't it? 'Are you sure? 'No.' 'No matter. We shall see what we see.' Her mind whirled, but her voice was steady as she said, "Oh, look. I think they are waiting for us."

IC: Jericho

"Well you kissed me and stopped me from shaking, and I need you today, or Moira."

His hands clenched tight around the SUV's steeringwheel at the mention of the woman the only woman who ever broke his heart.

"Oh, sorry, momentary slip of the tongue," Vincent lied.

"That son of a bitch," Jericho thought venomously. "I'll get him for that..."

"Into the mountains. Lucien's in an old bomb shelter out there." He said pointing to the junction in the highway that would take them east towards the Sierra Madres.

It was a relatively quiet car ride. Grandma Karena trying to stay awake in the backseat. His Ondine typically quiet and intently listening as he and Vincent exchanged inventive and ironic ways they would torture and eventually kill the popmusic stars. As true to their relationship Vincent always had to one up whatever he came up with. That annoyed and weirdly assured him...though Jericho had never met Lucian he'd heard enough about him to feel a little nervous-just a little. Vincent's ability to be bigger, badder, and eviler than anyone around-while annoying at times like now was a major asset in their nominal family's ability to survive anything even this Lucian bastard.

Though he'd never ever ever admit that fact to anyone.

The journey passed. It wasn't too far away from the valley in wine country and by the approach of dawn they reached a winding mountain dirt and gravel road deep into a valley cutting into high cliffwalls below a rocky creek bed trickled by as the came up to a concrete bunker carved into the ravine's side.

Ondine pointed to a man and a woman standing in the middle of the road. Jericho had counted at least half a dozen that had been hidden along the drive here. "Oh, look. I think they are waiting for us."

He stopped just inches away from them. He lowered the window as the woman walked over to the driver side door. "Yeah I'd like two cheeseburgers and fries a root beer and a strawberry shake," He chuckled before looking at Karena and Ondine, "Oh and two happy meals for the kids."

"Very funny," The woman bent down to look Jericho face to face she smiled showing fangs sharp and long in her mouth. She was an old one, with shining golden wolf-like predator's eyes. "Hey Salvador," She said to the man on Vincent's side of the car, "We have a comedian here tonight," She reached inside and ran sharp nails over the side of his face, "And just the way I like my men, ruggedly handsome, with a sense of humor, and absolutely no brains to tell him to keep his big mouth shut." The nail of her pointer finger dug in and scratched his cheek before rising back up.

Jericho reached behind him his hand clamping on Ondine's knee to keep her from jumping up out of the SUV and eviscerating the woman right there-though Jericho wouldn't mind that soo much now at all.

The dark skinned woman raised the finger to her mouth. A bead of his blood hanging from its sharpened tip. Her tongue extended and her eyes looked down on his as she licked the drop of blood up languidly savoring the taste of him.

Her gaze then traveled to the backseat ignoring O. entirely-always a fatal mistake especially given what just happened-instead she peered down at the other occupant of the backseat. "Well, well, well, my big sister Karena returning home to her family, its been a long time since you walked out on us."

Though the way she had said it Jericho was pretty sure she meant when she said Walked out on us." to mean "Walked out on me."

She smiled that predatory smile like a spider giving a come hither glance in the middle of her web, "Our father has kept your room just the same as when you left him for the young virile stud of the week here." Pointing a dismissive finger at Vincent. "You do remember our father and master don't you?"

Jericho ran a finger over the scratch she had given him. "Look precious," He told her, "The sun is coming up. So why don't we take this little family reunion indoors?"

"Precious?" She shook her head laughing, "My aren't you delicious. I could just eat you all up." She turned and gestured towards the concrete bunker in the cliffside. "Get out of the car, we'll escort you inside." She cast a glance the hid a bitter hatred behind a mocking smile towards Vincent and then Karena, "Oh and do remember that we don't like you-any of you-so don't make any actions that could be seen as lethally stupid. There's more of us than you four here, we're older, stronger and faster than all of you combined."

Jericho, Vincent, and the girls slid out of the car. Jericho followed after their escorts side by side with Ondine. He whispered to her as they walked, "I'm fine love, she was just giving me a little bit of a playful scratch. Something we'll both pay her back for in kind and then some in time...so patience...for Grandma K's sake at least."

Vincent

Vincent could instantly see the tension rise in Jericho. The tightness of his grip on the wheel increased, and you could see his jaw clench a bit. That didn't really surprise him, the sudden surge of emotion from Ondine did. Vincent didn't sire often, but when he did there were certain intangible connections between him and his children. Vincent glanced over his shoulder, and instantly saw the fear, revulsion, and anger brewing in those almond eyes.

Ondine could very easily hate him, given what he'd done to her it would be perfectly understandable. It was a question of pushing the right buttons at the right times. Much as the idea was intriguing he had no desire to see what would happen if she ever did truly hate him. He liked her just the way she was. He smiled at her, knowing she'd harbor a grudge for a bit until he made it up to her. Honestly he found making it up to her to be quite fun when he stepped over that line.

Vincent relaxed for the rest of the trip, discussing means or torture and execution with Jericho for most of it. He was a good kid, and given the right circumstance a truly evil bastard. Vincent actually got a kick out of helping him find his nastier side. Plus the conversation was easy until they got to the front of the compound.

Jericho opened with a joke, pretty true to form for him. Vincent ignored the woman, she liked to talk a bit too much, and he definitely remembered her. Mostly he was sure he could take her if it came to that, the hulking brute on his side was a slightly different matter.

"Ah, Salvador. Long time no see. So did you ever manage to work out that riddle I gave you?"

The man's face darkened, probably remembering how he'd had to ask another vampire for the solution. Salvador wasn't kept around because of his brains, he was kept around because it had been over a century since someone had fought him and lived.

Vincent listened to the words shared between Jericho and Ondine after they were invited inside. He would really have liked more time to prepare for this little journey. There were certain precautions that one should take before entering a hostile vampire compound. Especially when you didn't subscribe to the cult like mentality.

He climbed out of the car, then helped Karena out. The drug was almost out of her system again, though she was still a little loopy and needed a hand getting inside. Salvador glared at the group as they walked, Vincent could feel the heat of his glare on his back.

"Oh Salvador, the sun is rising and not setting. Just in case you forgot the difference again."

The four of them moved into the compound, Vincent humming softly to himself and the others. He was trying to appear relaxed, as though every muscle in his body wasn't tensed and ready to explode into action. He didn't know if they were going to be given the runaround or not, but he had one tiny trick to help pull Lucien out of his hole.

He switched the song he was humming to a pitch perfect version of Ode to Joy.

Darya

Once they were out of the SUV and she could see the true condition of her sister. Her "humor" with Jericho was quickly replaced by clenched teeth as she moved to take her sister from Vincent not caring if her sisters childer held any argument about it or not. She knew that if Vincent tried to argue that Salvador would deal with it.

So what have you done to my sister this time Vinnie?

Venom dripped from her words as she helped Karena along. Barely offering any attention to the other two she was focused on her sister. She looked off to the lined up family and servants. Seeing them in awe of Karena and her condition she felt even more reason to be angered yet again with Vincent... none of these people should ever see Karena anything less than the perfections Father always made her to be.

She knew just where to guide them to meet with Father. She spoke only softly and briefly with Karena as they approached the great hall.

This is why you should command your childer better precious sister and remain here with us where it is safe. I... We have missed you Dear Karena.

She dismissed Karena's usual request of being nice and polite to her "Precious love" Vincent and the others. Why should she they got her sister and she had to do without in this stifling prison.

Karena

Her hunger well buried by even more of the annoying little long dead hippie's medicines. Was she hearing little Darya's voice.

Love... has Darya joined us...

She looked around seeing yet another bomb shelter and knowing they are "home".

Darya... be nice... they are family... our family...

First feeling Vincent's strong embrace helping her to the door only to feel that embrace shift and find herself with the support to the door of her precious little sister.

Darya... sooo angry... why... I... I am... fine... I still stand and walk and talk with you... Just need to feed... thats all.

Somewhere in her mind she realized the "power struggle" of sister over childer and mustered the strength to show them both she was still eldest and in command as she reached for Vincent and pulled him to her other side her eyes looking to Darya as if to dare her to challenge this decision. She saw the rage in Darya's eyes that everyone else would see and she saw the pain that only a sister would see as she smiled to her.
