Sam: I wonder if we'll ever be put into songs or tales.
Frodo: [turns around] What?
Sam: I wonder if people will ever say, 'Let's hear about Frodo and the Ring.' And they'll say 'Yes, that's one of my favorite stories. Frodo was really courageous, wasn't he, Dad?' 'Yes, my boy, the most famousest of hobbits. And that's saying a lot.'
Frodo: [continue walking] You've left out one of the chief characters - Samwise the Brave. I want to hear more about Sam. [stops and turns to Sam]
Frodo: Frodo wouldn't have got far without Sam.
Sam: Now Mr. Frodo, you shouldn't make fun; I was being serious.
Frodo: So was I. [they continue to walk]
Sam: Samwise the Brave...

Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers.

There's one other line from that movie that I particularly enjoy.

Sam: It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end… because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing… this shadow. Even darkness must pass.

Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers.

I think this is my favourite line from the entire movie. Sam was my favourite character of the entire series, and in the book, he's quite the hero. They play him down for the movie, which is quite sad.

Winter is coming! You know nothing Jon Snow!

I've read the first two books. Going to start the third and fourth ones soon. Can't wait. An absolutely incredible series.

Read them all..... can't wait for March and the series to start again! Incredible!

Albert: So what is the "me"?

Chris Nielsen: My brain I suppose.

Albert: Your brain ? Your brain is a body part. Like your fingernail or your heart. Why is that the part that's you?

Chris Nielsen: Because I have sort of a voice in my head, the part of me that thinks, that feels, that is aware that I exist at all.

Albert:
So if you're aware you exist, then you do. That's why you're still here.

From a John Wayne movie...do you know which one?

Bruce Dern: Would you have any words before you prepare to meet your Maker?
Mr. Nightlinger (the cook): I pray merciful God that you would forgive me for the men I have killed...and the ones I am about to!

And the ambush opened....

You took an oath, if you recall, when you first came to work for me. And I don't mean to the National Security Advisor of the United States, I mean to his boss... and I don't mean the President. You gave your word to his boss: you gave your word to the people of the United States. Your word is who you are.

Clear and Present Danger
