Fire Side Dancer

[Angeltears]

Tora danced her mind tuning out the sound of the village and focusing on the music. Her body moving with it, her eyes closed as she danced. Like the song that Kara had sung Tora danced for Rahn aswell and she realised that she would always dance for him. Her gypsy boy that stole her heart. She had never expected to fall in love this fast with some one, she had heard others said they had but she had thought that they were mistaken. But now she didn't think they were wrong because she felt the same way they had.

Rahn stared at the girl he loved as she danced around the fire. Something in the way she moved told him that the dance was for him. He watched until the end of the dance. As she took her last step he smiled happily and blew her a kiss. He then mouthed a few words to her. "I love You" He could not help but wonder if anyone else had seen. If they did, he didn't really care.

 

[Angeltears]

As the music and dance came to an end she opened her eyes and looked automatically at Rahn, her breath coming quick but she saw him blow her a kiss and mouth the words I love you. She closed her eyes again and smiled at him. Then curtising to the crowd she looked over at Tan and saw that he seemed a lot more calmer now. She glanced at Ash who nodded and Tora took the couple of steps and returned to Rahn. Looking down at him she gave him a tired smile. The day had worn her out but she didn't want to go to bed just yet. Sitting down again next to Rahn, she whispered in his ear, "I love you too."

Rahn smiled as Tora returned to him. She seemed tired and he knew she should sleep soon. It had been a long day. Rahn was starting to feel a little tired himself. When she whispered in his ear he smiled happily at her and then pulled her in for a kiss. He held his arms around her and the kiss lasted for a long moment. Rahn stopped kissing her to give her a small kiss on her nose and then whisper to her. "You look very tired my lovely dancer girl. It has been a long day. You should get some sleep. I know what you are thinking, and I don't want to leave your side either, but I will still be here in the morning and I will still love you. I will always love you." He then smiled and kissed her again.

Tora smiled as he pulled her close to kiss her. Returning his kiss and happy for once that Ash didn't inturupt them. When he stopped kissing her and kissed her nose she smiled at him. When he said that she looked tired she thought to herself that she had been caught out. Every thing he said was true from the reason why she didn't want to go to bed just yet to being tired. So when he kissed her again she smiled at him and nodded her head. "I would ask you to walk me to my tent but that will only cause more whisperings. Good night my gyspy boy, I think you should head off to bed too soon." Pulling away from him she smiled and then turned to Ash and Tan and said good night heading to her tent.

Rahn nodded to her about what might happen if he walked her to her tent. They didn't need that much whispering just yet. He smiled again and nodded once more in agreement that he should also sleep. She got up and left and Rahn stood up. He walked past Ash and Tan as well in the direction of his tent. He wished them a good rest and then walked straight to his tent.

Tora got to her tent and slipping out of her clothes and into soemthing to sleep in she went straight to bed. All this running around and keeping secrets had worn her out. It didn't take her long to fall asleep she dreamed of sitting by the fire side with Rahn watching as a her mother danced around the fire. As her mother danced she smiled at the two of them as if she gave her approval.

Rahn prepared himself for bed. He lay in bed for a while thinking. He thought mostly of Tora, but he also thought of his mother. It brought a smile to his face. "Hi mother. Its me again. I'm in love. She is an amazing girl. Beautiful, talented, smart. She loves me too. I am so happy. I am sure that this love will turn out better than yours. Rest peacfully mother." He then fell asleep with a smile, thinking of Tora. His dreams were filled with images of being with Tora by the fire or in the woods, holding her close, and kissing her.

Tora woke up at the sound of movement outside her tent. Getting up she slowly started to get dressed and then stuck her head out of her tent. Seeing Lia walking away she looked over at Sol's tent and saw him standing there. She smiled at him and he smiled back, "Good morning. Did you return to the fire last night after we left?" Tora nodded rubbing her eyes. "Did anything else happen once you returned?" he asked coming over to her tent. Tora shock her head, "there was dancing and music and Tan had to apoligise. But other than that nothing much, I think the village is going to be full of gossip this morning about Rahn and me." She shrugged her shoulders ran her hand through her hair. When her hand snagged on a knot she suighed and vanishing into the tent and then then came back with her comb and started running it through her hair. "He is lucky thats all he had to do," Sol said and Tora nodded.

Rahn woke in the morning fairly early, as he always did. He got up and dressed. After a little while he exited his tent and walked to the middle of the village. He sat by the fire pit and relaxed. He just waited for people that he knew to show up. While he waited one of the men that had been in the group talking about Tora approached him. Rahn looked at him , not sure what he wanted. The guy sat down and started asking questions. "So, it is going around the village that you have been seen with Tora. Does that mean her brothers have stopped being so protective of her? Do you think she might..." Rahn glared at the man. "No! Yes, I've been seen with Tora. However, her brothers have not stoped being protective. I love Tora, and Tora loves me. You and your friends should just forget about any ideas that you have that involve Tora. If you so much as look at her innapropriately, you will regret it. I promise you that. Now, get away from me!"

 

[Angeltears]

Once Tora had finished with her hair, the two of them headed to the fire. They talked about how it was good that Lia was back and other things. Just as they neared the center, Sol asked the question Tora had been waiting for. "So you really love him?" he said stopping to hear her answer. Tora smiled at him, "Yes I do." He looked at her reading her expression. He had always been good at that, he must have seen what he wanted because he nodded. "Then I am happy for you." They continued to wak again and as they entered the middle of the village Tora's eyes quickly scanned the area for Rahn to see if he was awake. She spotted him quickly and saw that some one else was talking to him, she instantly recognised him as one of the freinds of the guy Tan had punched and looked at Sol. Sol eyes narrowed slightly and both of them headed towards Rahn. "Good Morning," Sol called as they got closer, more as a way to let them know that they were there.

When Sol called out the guy next to Rahn also saw Tora and he got up and walked off fairly quickly. Rahn turned to them and smiled. "Good morning you two. Don't worry about him. He is already dealt with. I sorry to say, he came to ask me about Tora. I set him straight, so hopefully he and his friends will leave us alone." He then stood up and walked to Tora. He pulled her into his arms and kissed her cheek softly.

Tora watched the guy leave a look of worry crossed her face. She shook her head and looked down at Rahn and couldn't help but smile when she saw his. Glancing in the direction they guy went in once again when Rahn mentioned that he had asked about her. But her eyes moved to Rahn again when he stood up and pulled her close. Wrapping her arms around him as he kissed her cheek. "Good Morning, how did you sleep?" she asked leaning against him slightly.

Rahn smiled at Tora happily. "I slept well. Did you have a nice rest?" He kissed he cheek again and then her nose before leading her to sit with him. He sat with his arm around her, happy to be with her. He could definitely see why the other men in the village were interested in her, but that did not matter, he loved her. Some of those men had some bad intentions with Tora and he would not let them near her.

 

[Angeltears]

"I had a good nights sleep, I was just so tired" She replied as he kissed her on the nose. Then she followed him as he led her to where he had been sitting. Sol followed them and watched as Tora sat down next to Rahn. Tora smiled and leaned against him slightly as he with his arm around her. "So it seems we are going to have some trouble for a few day," Sol remarked sitting next to Tora. "It's a good thing that we have the trip to the market in a couple of days, that way we will beable to get away from the village for a couple of days."

Rahn smiled happily at Tora. Then looked at Sol sitting next to her. He was afraid that he would be right. He didn't think those guys would leave them alone. they probably didn't believe that they loved eachother and would probably go after Tora. Then Sol mentioned a trip in a couple days. Rahn thought he might have heard about it before, but he wasn't sure. It sounded like it would be a nice trip. He'd have to ask about joining them. He could do that later. "Hopefully we cnan prevent any of that trouble from happening. I, for one, don't think I could leave Tora's side even if people tried to pry me off of her." He smiled at Tora and kissed her cheek once more. "I'm going to be stuck to you like glue."

 

[Angeltears]

Tora looked at the two of them, and sighed to herself. "I like the sound of that," she said as he kissed her on the cheek and smiled at him but even as she smiled she knew that in truth they couldn't watch her at all times she would have to be on watch as well. She wasn't some little girl that had to go running to her brothers when something scared her. "Good Morning," Ash said coming up behind them. Tora looked up and smiled at him, "Morning," both her and Sol said. It was then that Tora saw the women starting to organise breakefast. "I had better go help," she kissed Rahn on the cheek and slipped from his arm and headed to the other women.

Rahn kissed Tora once more before she got up to go help with breakfast. Rahn looked over at Ash. "Good morning Ash. Did you have a good sleep? Or were you still too grossed out by your sister and I? If that is the case sorry, but you'll probably be seeing a lot more of it. It just feels so nice to have her in my arms. So, you'll have to get used to it. Now, on to business. How do we make Tan admit he likes Kara to her face, and how do we prevent the trouble that those guys will cause.?"

 

[Angeltears]

Ash sat down between Sol and Rahn, and gave Rahn a face. "I slept well and I guess I am going have to get used to it. If it makes her happy that is. But just try to keep it at a minimum okay, a guy can only take so much, you know." Then Rahn's last words sunk in, "So there is going to be trouble?" Ash said looking at Sol, who nodded. "Well lets talk about Tan and Kara first before he wakes up. It might be better to wait for Tan to talk about those guys because any thing we plan he should be in on or he will be pissed off if we don't."

Rahn nodded. He agreed that they needed to inclue Tan in any talks about what to do about the guys who seemed to have their sights set on Tora. He then started to think about Tan and Kara. "Well, Kara will probably go along with anything we try if it involves Tan. We should have Tora along as well to help keep Kara less shy. As for what we should try, maybe if Kara wanted to learn to play guitar. She would have to spend time with Tan and maybe he would admit to her after a while."

 

[Angeltears]

"Could you imagine doing anything and not getting Tora involed!" Ash said. "She would never let us here the end of it." Sol nodded, "I think you have an idea there Rahn, I have seen Kara watch Tan while he plays so it won't be that hard to convince him that she wants to learn." Sol sat there thinking, "It might be a good idea if we get Tora to bring up the idea of lessons with Kara, because if it's one of us it might seem like we are pushing her. It would be easier coming from Tora."

 

[Josu_T]

Rahn nodded. "Sounds good. Tora seems to put Kara at ease. Good that they have eachother. Other wise Kara might be too shy to talk to anyone and Tora would be stuck around guys all day long. I think that once Tan admits he likes Kara, he will be much happier. However, I just thought of something. If Kara learns to play guitar, I'll be the only one who does not do anything at the fire each night, unless Lia does not do anything. Then we can just talk about Sol and Tora behind your backs." Rahn grinned and laughed a little to show he was joking.

 

[Angeltears]

"You have forgotten something Rahn, our timid little Kara already brings something to the fire, she sings like a song bird," Ash said, "And I am sure Lia will eagerly talk behind Sol's back with you, like two old gossiping women." Ash laughed and then winced, as Sol wacked him in the back of the head. "Don't talk about Lia like that. But I have to admit, she might not play an instrument or sing but she does like to talk."

Rahn laughed at Ash's comment and then more at Sol smacking him in the head. Rahn shook his head at Ash. "Be careful who you call an old woman. Hoe easily you forget the defeats you suffered at my hands yesterday. I'd like to see an old woman ride, shoot, run, and apparently even wrestle like I can. So if anyone is an old woman, its you. The only one of us not to win a competiton yesterday." Rahn grinned at him and let out a small laugh.

 

[Angeltears]

Ash looked at the ground at Rahn's comment and muttered a few things under his breath that Sol could have sworn was that it had been a bad day and that if he hadn't let Rahn win in the wreastleing he would have beaten him. Sol reached over and patted Ash's back laughing, "There, there little brother we can't be good at everything." Ash looked up and was about to make some smark comment when Tan appeared. "The three of you seem to be in a good mood this morning," Tan said yawning. "Look it's sleepy head. How late did you stay up sitting by the fire with a certain song bird?" Ash asked, raising an eye brow at his brother.
