Fire Side Dancer

[Angeltears]

Tan smiled, "Come on then, it's you and me then." Waving to Ash and Sol as they headed to the feilds. He lead Rahn to where they would grab the buckets to callry the water in. Once they had there buckets they headed heade towards the part of the spring that ran closest to the village but even that was a bit of a hike.

Once the plates where seen too, Tora headed to her tent to collect her bag of clothing that needed mending. Once she had her bag, she headed back to the centre of the village. There she found Lia and Kara, sitting eating breakfast. "Good morning you two," she said and sat down next to them and started back on the shirt she had been working on before Rahn had swept her away.

Rahn followed Tan to the buckets and then on the hike to the spring. He filled his bucket and then carried it back to the village. It was hard work, but it gave him time to think. Mostly he thought about Tora. After a couple trips back and forth, he came up with an idea. He would have to try it after lunch. He only had two trips back and forth left before it was time for the lunch break. He definitely looked forward to that since he would get to kiss Tora again.

Tora, Kara and Lia spent the morning together, each doing chores that needed to be done for there families. They chatted about all different thing, Lia told the two girls about her reacent travels. Tora and Kara listed off things they would need to get from the market when they went. Then Tora brought up guitar lessons for Kara, who at first was hesitant about asking Tan worried that he would say no. Then she made the excuse that he would be to busy, to teach her. But both Lia and Tora both conviced her to at least ask, they both said that he wouldn't say no. By the time lunch grew near Tora got through most of the clothes and only one or two shirts left to go. Some of the women started to gather and start to organise lunch, but when the three girls got up to help, one of the older women shooed them away, saying that they had it covered. The three girls retured to chatting as they waited for the guys to eventually return.

After a couple more trips with water Rahn was finally allowed to take a break. The first thing he did was have a long drink of water. Then he made his way to his tent to change into clothes that were not drenched in sweat. He finally made his way to the fire area to look for Tora. He had expected her to be helping with lunch, but she was not there. He found her with the other girls just a short way away. He instantly smied when he saw her. He ran the last couple of steps and lifted her into his arms, placing a big kiss on her cheek. He looked into her eyes and his smile brightened. Then he did what he had wanted to do the entire time he was carrying water. He kissed her lips deeply and passionately.

Lia was the first one to spot Rahn, she smiled and touched Tora's hand, "Rahn's back." Tora instantly turned to where she was looking and saw him, quickly she got to her feet as ran the last couple of steps towards her and lifted her into his arms. There was no point for words as she smiled at him. When he kissed her, she instantly returned his kiss. Her brothers weren't around to inturpt them, so Tora wrapped her arms around Rahn's neck. Lia and Kara just sat back and smiled and giggled together.

Rahn felt Tora returning his kiss. He Sat down with her still in his arms. He had her sit in his lap and he broke the kiis for a moment to smile happily at her and whisper. "Missed you. Love you." Then he pressed his lips agaisnt hers and kissed her more. He didn't care who saw them like that. The people in the village would just have to get used to it. He was in love and there was no way he was not going to do what felt so right to do.

Sitting in his lap kissing, she knew they would be getting a mixed reaction, from those around them. Some would be happy for them, others thinking that they shouldn't be so public in there relationship. But Tora didn't care, she never would because she loved Rahn and that's all that mattered to her.

While Tora was busy with Rahn, her brothers turned up. Sol sat and wrapped his arms around Lia giving her a kiss and whispered to her, "A new love, isn't it sweet." Lia agreed and kissed him back. "Any body would thing that the two of them hadn't seen each other for days or months," Ash remarked as he sat down. Tan on the other hand tried not to look at them, he still wasn't used to seeing his little sister like this. Part of him felt the urge to pull Tora away from Rahn, but he fought that urge and looked else were, straight at Kara. "Hello," he said and she replied, "Hello."

Rahn was happily kissing Tora when he heard her brothers return. He smiled when he heard Sol and Lia. If he had not been busy kissing Tora he would have laughed at Ash. Then something else made him happy. Tan was talking to Kara without anyone pushing one of them toward the other. That was definitely a good sign.

Then they were called for lunch and Rahn reluctantly let Tora get up. He also got up and held Tora's hand on the way to get some food. While they waited in line he kissed her cheek softly. He leaned his head in against hers happily. He did not look forward to more work that afternoon.

Tora sighed when Rahn stopped kissing her and looked over her shoulder at her brothers. "hello," she said to them, then getting out of Rahn's lap she stood up. When lunch was ready all of them got up and headed to get there lunch.

Smiling as they stood there waiting. As they stood there head to head, Tora wrapped one of her arms around Rahn. "I was surposed have training this afternoon with Tan. But I think I can get Kara to distract him, I promised Dancer that I would take her for a ride this afternoon. When they call a stop to work did you want to come for a ride with me?"

Rahn happily stood with Tora. She told him she was supposed to train with Tan. He smiled when she said whe should get Kara to distract him. Then she suggested a ride with her. He smiled and kissed her cheek. "That sounds great. I'm sure Rain would like a nice ride. He had that race yesterday, but a calm ride today would be very nice for both of us. However, a warning, every once in a while he likes to start running through the forrest. I hope you can keep up."

"Oh I am sure that Dancer and I can keep up," Tora said with a smile. As they talked they had gotten closer to were they could grab some lunch. As Tora collected a plate for herself, a playful smile appeared on her face. "The question is can you keep up with us, should we run?" With that she spun and headed quickly to Kara who had her food and was close to where they had been sitting. Tora whispered in her ear about during lunch mentioning the guitar lessons to Tan, Kara bulked slightly at the idea of asking durning lunch. But Tora told her, her plan and that she needed to distract Tan. Just as they were sitting down Kara nodded and Tora thanked her.

Rahn smiled as he got some lunch on a plate. Tora suddenly rushed off and he saw her talking to Kara. He sat down next to her and playfully nudged her. He then kissed her softly. "You just saw Rain and I nearly beat Tan yesterday. I think we could easily keep up with you."

 

[Angeltears]

Tora smiled palyfully at him as he nudged and then kissed her. "Ah but that was my brother you beat and not me. You have yet to see me ride," she knew that he more than likely keep up with her and her with him. But she was having run playing with him. Then she leaned forward and whispered in his ear, "Kara has agreed to play distraction." Instead of pulling back she kissed the edge of his ear, trailing them along it, though it still looked like she was whispering in his ear.

Rahn grinned and smiled at her. Then she whispered that Kara had agreed to distract Rahn. He smiled more. His smiled then brightened as she kissed along his ear. He couldn't help turning to kiss her happily. After a long moment he released her and then turned to his food. He was hungry after a morning of work. Now that he had kissed Tora he needed to fill his need for food.

Tora smiled and started eating her own lunch after there kiss. The others had joined them again and every one was eating quietly. Because of the work this morning the boys were quiet and the girls had pretty much done there talking so lunch flew by. As it was starting to look like nearly every one would soon be finished, Tora nudged Kara who looked at her and then nodded in understanding. "Um Tan," she started and then seemed to stop. Tan looked up at her and smiled slightly trying to encorage her on, curious on what she had to say. "Um, I was wondering if you could teach me to play the guitar, like you do," her words seemed to get lower and lower as she spoke, but Tan heard her and his smile grew bigger. "Sure," Kara seemed surprised that he had agreed and smiled at him with out turning red for once.

Rahn ate his lunch and smiled over at Tora most of the time. Unlike most of the time they were all together, no one was poking fun at anyone else. Everyone just seemed a bit tired or not feeling like talking. Then Kara got up the nerves to ask Tan to teach her guitar. Rahn smiled. It had worked, plus, it seemed the two were not as nervous around eachother any more. Rahn wrapped an arm around Tora and gave her a small hug before finishing his lunch and putting his plate down.

Tora smiled at Rahn as he hugged her, she was happy that Tan had agreed or she would have had to have had a serious talk with him. Kara seemed happy to which made things better. Tora finished her lunch and leaned slightly against Rahn her plate in her lap. Looking up at the sky Tora thought of what a good day it was. "When did yoy want to start lessons, Kara?" Tan asked and Kara quickly replied. "Maybe this afternoon when every one has finished working, if thats okay with you?" Tan thought about it and then looked at Tora, Tora looked back at him and smiled, "I don't mind missing training another afternoon." She said this all casually as if she hadn't thought about it at all. Tan looked back at kara and nodded, "Okay when work is finished."

Rahn smiled even more when Tora leaned agaisnt him. He was even happier when it was confirmed that he would have time with Tora after work was done. Then he remembered his plan. He was going to try to make work easier. He smiled at Tora and kissed her cheek. Then he whispered in her ear. "I have an idea to make carrying the water easier. Do you think you could help me? I need some good pieces of wood if there are any around. I also need some rope."

Tora closed her eyes as Rahn whispered in her ear, listening. Then her eyes shot open and she had to think for a second of where the stuff he needed could be found. Then she came up with it, turning her head she whispered back to him, "The stables will have all that you are looking for, there should be some spare wood there incase the horses brake the ones already in place and they should have pleanty of rope there. Did you want to go now and see if we can find some?"

Rahn smiled as she tought of where the village might have the things he needed. When she told him that the stables would have those things he smiled more. The stables were perfect. That was where he was going to end up anyway. He kissed her happily. "That is perfect. Lets go. You can help me put them together." He got up and held out his hand for her. He then turned to the others. "We are going to go try to make something to help the work go better."

Taking his hand she rose to her feet. Kara picked up Rahn's plate and then held out her hand for Tora's. Tora passed it to her and thanked her. Still holding his hand she gave her brothers a smile as Rahn explained. Sol nodded and so did Tan, Ash on the other hand gave them a funny look. "Now behave the two of you," he commented.

Rahn smiled at them and laughed a little as Ash gave his little instruction. "Don't worry guys, your sister will be fine. I just need her help putting something together. When it is ready we will show you." He smiled and walked off with Tora to the stables.

When they arrived they found rope, wood, and some tools. He layered the wood and then showed her what he wanted to do. "Ok, so we want to set it like a nice long platform. With these tools we can set the wood together so the pieces will not come apart. Then the rope is used around the edge to keep things on the platform. It will be dragged behind a horse." He showed her what to do and then they got to work trying to put it together. It did not take long, it was fairly simple. They would be able to carry more buckets on it and use less energy. It could also be used for other things. He had used something like it to carry large game when he was living with his mother. It made it a lot easier on him and his horse.

Tora laughed at Ash and then followed Rahn to the stables. "I wonder what he has planned?" Sol asked the group. Both brothers shrugged and they all figured that they would have to wait and see.

Once they reached the stables she listened as he explained what he had in mind for the stuff in front of them. As he talked she started to see in her mind what he was thinking. She enjoyed working beside him, she hoped she was doing the right thing and would always look over at him to make sure that it was right. Standing back when they had finished she smiled at him. "Your a genius," she said looking back at what he had thought up.

Rahn smiled at her compliment and took a good look at the platform. "I'm no genius. I had to use something like this when I was with my mother. There was no way I could carry large game on Rain, it is just too heavy. You did a great job helping me. You are smart and beautiful. I love you so much Tora." He happily smiled at her and gave her a big kiss. After he eventually broke the kiss he then got Rain ready for use. He took a piece of rope and tied the platform behind Rain and then led him out of the stables to show Tora's brothers what they had been doing.

"Your still a genius to me, my love," she whispered when he broke the kiss. Tora watched as he set up the platform behind Rain. Tora followed them out of the stables and then skipped ahead. She decided to round up her brothers for Rahn.

Her brothers had finished there lunch and where waiting Kara had taken over the plates for all of them Tan had offered to help but she had said it was alright. "Well here they come now," Ash said as he spotted Tora and then Rahn. All of them stood up and looked to see what Rahn had come up with.
