Fire Side Dancer

Letting him turn her she rested her hands on his chest and returned his kiss with equal passion. But unlike the forest she was aware of the things around her. The people who happpened to be glancing over at them. Tan had turned his attention back to Kara, who was plucking strings slightly, just to hear there sound.

Rahn happily kissed Tora for a couple minutes before her brothers returned. As he pulled away he could see the elder behind Tora, watching them. He seemed to be analyzing the way they behaved around eachother. He ignored the man and smiled at Tora. "I guess it is time for you to dance now. Have fun out there, my beautiful dancer." He kissed her softly before releasing her so she could get up.

Tora smiled at him as he pulled back, she had heard her brothers return and knew that she would have to move soon. "I always do," she replied after he kissed and released her. Getting up she smiled at her brothers, who had sat themselves down again and were getting comfortable. Lia by Sol's side, Kara handed back the guitar to Tan and Ash settled the drum in his lap, and returned Tora's smile. "Ready little dancer," he said. Tora's smile grew and she stepped up to the fire. The group hushed and many began to settle themselves, moving away from the fire so she had room. "I am always ready," Tora said with getting into position. "Then keep up if you can," Tan said getting in on the game finally, Plucking a few strings was his only warning of the music they were going to play. Both Ash and Sol grinned at Tan and then back at Tora, who understood and had a smile of her own. "Watch me," she replied, as the three brothers started to play. The music started only a little slow to begin with, but then it soon sped up. Tora didn't miss a beat, spinning and twirling with the music.

Rahn sat back and relaxed as Tora moved toward the fire. He looked over at her brothers. He noticed Lia right next to Sol. Kara was next to Tan. If Ash had a girl she could sit right next to him. It wasn't fair. Rahn was the only one who couldn't be right next to his love. He felt a little jealous of the others about that.

He smiled as the music started. Once again his eyes were unable to take his eyes off of Tora. She was absolutely gorgeous in the firelight. Her movements were stunning. He watched her every movement until the music stopped. He clapped with everyone else and smiled at her. He blew her a few kisses from his seat, but did not get up, in case she was going to do another dance right away.

Her brothers didn't manage to catch her up on this one, Tora thought as the music stopped. Smiling as every one started to clap, she bowed to the crowd and then looked over at the group, in particular Rahn. When she saw him blowing kisses at her she smiled and blew one back. Then her glance went to her brothers, titling her head slightly Ash responded to her unspoken question, by beating his drum softly with the palm of his hands. Tora nodded, it was Ash's choice of next song by nodding she agreed that she could continue and agreed with the song. With this sorted out she got ready and the brothers started to play again. While Tora danced Lia leaned over and whispered in Sol's ear and got up vanishing for a little bit. When she came back she had water for the all of them and Tora.

Rahn smiled as Tora blew a kiss back to him. She started dancing another to another song and Rahn relaxed, watching her again. Once more he was unable to take his eyes off of her. He followed every twist and turn. The only thing that existed for him at that moment was Tora. He couldn't wait to kiss her when the song was done. As soon as it did he got up and clapped. He waited for her to return to the group so he could kiss her.

Once again the song was done and Tora bowed as they clapped. Her breath coming quickly she headed towards the group, where she saw Rahn standing as if waiting for her. This made her smile, and she breached the gap between them in a couple of quick steps and kissed him. The brothers set down there instuments so they could all have a drink. Sol kissed Lia in thanks and the others thanked her as well as she handed them out. She held two as well as her own, waiting for Tora and Rahn to finish.

Rahn smiled as Tora walked over to him. He was very happy as she kissed him. He returned her kiss. He held her close and deepened the kiss. After a long moment he broke the kiss to sit and pull her to sit next to him. He took the two cups of water from Lia and handed one to Tora, as an arm wrapped around her. He kissed her cheek and drank a little.

When he broke the kiss Tora was breathing even harder now. Happerly she sat down and let him pull her next to him. Greatful when he handed her the cup of water, she thanked both him and Lia. Drinking it slowly she rested letting her body return to normal. As she did this she leaned against Rahn slightly, she didn't say anything just focused on her water.

Rahn smiled at Tora and kissed her cheek a few times as she drank her water. He didn't bother her, her let her rest for another dance. He held her close and enjoyed the warmth of her body. He really liked sitting there with her like that. It felt nice and felt right. He just hoped the elder would agree after talking to Tora.

Tora rested and loved Rahn alittle bit more for letting her rest. Taking comfort from just feeling of him there beside her and his arm wrapped around her. Soon every one had rested and those gathered around the fire were waiting for another dance, Tora kissed Rahn on the cheek and setting her cup aside she stood up. Nodding to her brothers as she made her way to the fire she got a surprise when they started to play. Kara's voice joined the music and Tora smiled and started to dance, looking over at Tan and Kara sitting next to each other. Tan looked at Kara with a smile of his face as she sang. As Tora spun she saw something in her brothers face that made her so happy, he looked at Kara the way she looked at him.

Rahn was happy with Tora next to him. After she was rested he smiled as she kissed his cheek. She got up and walked out to the fire. As the music started he heard Kara singing, but didn't look over at them. His eyes were glued to Tora once more. He watched every movement. If he had seen Kara and Tan he would have been much happier with the progress being made with them.

As the song continued Tora stopped looking at her brother and Kara and focused on the dance. Let the world and others sort them selves out and I will simply dance, she thought as she spun.

Soon the song ended and once again Tora bowed as they clapped. She saw that many were heading off to bed now and she saw the elder still sitting there. Not wanting to keep him up longer than he wanted, when the brothers looked to her for if she wanted to continue she shook her head. Moving back towards Rahn she kissed him and whispered in his ear, “I am going to turn in but first I am going to talk to the elder.”

Rahn watched to the end of the song and applauded Tora. She decided to not do another song and smiled. She walked over to him and kissed him. He returned her kiss happily. when the kiss ended she whispered in his ear and he smiled at her. He kissed her cheek and whispered back. "I will go to sleep then. Good luck with him. Sleep well tonight. I'll see you in the morning. Love you." He then smiled brightly and kissed her before letting her walk off to talk to the elder.

((Did you still want to play the elder because I have no idea what he would ask her))

Tora smiled at him and whispered back, “Love you too, sleep tight.” Then she stood up and said that she was going to go to bed, she said good night to each of her brothers and then headed in the direction of there tents and the elder. Stopping beside the elder she smiled at him, “You wanted to speak to me sir?” she asked.

Rahn smiled at Tora as she walked off to bed. He waited to see her start talking to the elder before heading off to his own bed. He went right to his tent and prepared himself for sleep. He wondered how it was going with the elder. He hoped he would agree to giving them his blessing.

The elder watched as Tora approached him. He gave her a small smile. "Hello young one. I must congratulate you on another night of fine dancing. I did wish to see you to talk about Rahn. I would like to know exactly what you think of him and how he makes you feel. It is important that you tell me the truth about every detail so I can make the right decision."

Tora thanked the elder for his complement and then sat down in front of him. As she looked at him a serious look came over her face. “Rahn is a very caring and thoughtful man, and I love him. I know that sounds silly and it has only been a short time, but that is how I feel about him. When I am with him he makes me feel as if every thing is alright and I am whole.” She smiled at him, “Elder, I trust your decision and what you say I will agree with, but I do love him and I always will.”

The elder watched Tora carefully as she spoke. He could see that she was telling the truth. It made him happy to see two youngsters so much in love. He smiled as she finished speaking and placed a hand on her shoulder. "It is very unusual, but not unbelievable, that you two have indeed fallen in love. I do hope that your love lasts forever. I see in your faces something that tells me it will. I have now spoken to both of you and watched how you act together. Come see me in the morning and I will tell the both of you my decision about whether to give you my blessing or not." He gave her a smile and then dismissed her off to bed.

Tora could help but smile at him and nod. Standing up she continues to smile at him, “Thank you for listening, elder. I will see you in the morning.” Tora turned and headed towards the tents, she couldn’t stop smiling to herself. She couldn’t wait to see Rahn to morrow morning and then the elder to here his decision; she was so busy thinking about it she didn’t see the shadow slip away from the others.

“Well if it isn’t little Tora, all by herself.” Tora froze at the sound of the voice; it wasn’t one of her brothers or Rahn. As the owner of the voice stepped forward she recognised him. He was one of the friends of the guy Tan punched. She suddenly had a bad feeling in her stomach, quickly she tried to walk past him, “Sorry, I am getting something for my brother.” He grabbed her arm as she walked past and pulled her into his arms, “I don’t think so, you told them you were heading off to bed. I heard you.” He laughed slightly whispering in her ear. Tora’s looked around as she struggled to get out of his grip and she saw that no one was around. “Let me go, I will scream,” she threatened. He laughed some more, “Try it, by the time they come running I will have you on the ground with your legs apart and then what will they think. There is no need for the village to know I just want to talk with you,” she felt him kiss her neck and instead of screaming she did the one thing Sol had taught her to do. She brought her knee up between his legs hard. He gasped and let her go, with out thinking she ran away. Heading in any direction as long as it was away from him.

When she finally focused on where she was going, she realised that she was no were near her tent but she was close to one tent she knew, Rahn’s. Quickly she ran to it and opened the tent, “Rahn” she cried.

Rahn was almost asleep. He had a good feeling about the elder. The man liked him and he hoped he would see that Rahn and Tora were really in love. Then he got a bad feeling, that something was happening to Tora. A minute later Tora threw open the flap on his tent. She cried out for him and he leapt out of bed. He was wearing just his underwear, but he didn't care. He pulled Tora inside and looked around for anyone else. He then close the tent flap and looked at his scared love. "What happened Tora? What is wrong? Are you ok? Are you hurt?" He started to panic, worried that she had been harmed by someone.

Tora saw Rahn in the bed one second and then he was there beside her pulling her into his tent. She didn’t notice that he was only in his underwear, or that she really shouldn’t be in his tent alone, all of that didn’t matter as she cried. She continued to cry for a little bit in shock more than anything as she tried to speak, but it only came out as sobs. Once she started to calm down slightly she was able to speak a little still trying to catch her breath and sob at the same time. “I was heading ……… to my tent ……then he came out of ……the shadows ………. grabbed me ………. and wouldn’t let go. ………I told him I would scream………he said he would have me on the floor before any one came. ……….Then he kissed my neck…….” As she said this she started to rub at her neck as if trying to rub off the skin he had touched. “I kneed him ……………..and run away.” Tora started to cry again as she continued to rub at her neck.

Rahn stood in front of her and looked at her sadly. She was obviously not doing well. He wiped away her tears and held her softly as she calmed down. As she explained through sobs he simply listened. It made some sense, but some details were lost. When she finished explaining she cried more and rubbed at her neck. He wiped away some tears and lifted her hand off her neck. He then leaned in to softly kiss the spot, trying to help her forget about the other man kissing her there. He then softly kissed her lips. "So some guy came out of the shadows and threatened you, then kissed your neck. You kneed him and ran away. I am glad you got away. I don't think it is very safe for you out there right now or even in your own tent. He might try to get inside during the night. I would go wake your brothers, but they would probably go attack the guy. No, you will sleep here tonight. I don't care what anyone thinks. This is the safest thing to do. You can sleep where I normally sleep. I will use one blanket and sleep by the entrance in case someone tries to get in during the night." He gave her a soft smile and pulled her into a hug.

As he lift away her hand she wanted to pull it back and keep rubbing at her neck, but instead she felt him kiss her neck instead. She continue to cry quietly as he kissed her lips, but it seemed to calm her down slowly as until she was only breathing hard and a couple of tears would run down her cheek ever now and then. Nodding as he repeated what she said and then shaking her head when he said it wasn’t safe for her out there, agreeing with him. Right now she didn’t want to leave him, she didn’t want to go back out there into the night. Tora knew this was wrong, she knew that she should get him to walk her to her own tent or one of her brothers tents, but right at this moment as he pulled her into a hug she wanted to be right here with him. Burying her face against his chest she whispered, “Thank you.”

Rahn heard her soft whispered thanks and smiled. He led her over to his blankets and had her sit down. He sat with her and held her close. He softly kissed her and smiled. He tried his best to comfort her and wrapped a blanket around her. "Get some rest Tora. It is ok now, there is no one here to hurt you. It will also be ok that you stayed here tonight in the eyes of the elders once we find the decision tomorrow which I am fairly confident about. Your brothers will also understand once we explain tomorrow. It is going to be just fine." He smiled warmly again and held her close.

Tora took comfort from his presence there as well as the blanket he wrapped around her, it smelled of him and it made her feel safe. When he mentioned the elders she remembered her talk with the elder, it seemed like so long ago now. "He sounded happy for us, I think he will give his blessing," she whispered. Part of her worried about her brothers reaction to the things they will be told, but she couldn't find the strength to do any thing about it at the moment. As he held her close, she closed her eye and let go of every thing that had happened that night. Slowly she drifted off to sleep.
