Fire Side Dancer

Rahn smiled at Tora as she seemed optemistic about their chances of recieving a blessing from the elder. He then held her close until she fell asleep. When she did he lay her down and covered her in blankets. He took one of his own and lay in front of the opening of his tent. he fell asleep there, ready to wake if someone tried to enter in the middle of the night.

Tora slept right through the night, some how knowing that Rahn was close made her feel safe.

Tan emerged from his tent the next morning and stretching he looked around. Then he remembered what he wanted to do last night but put it off till the morning. Heading to Tora’s tent, he called to her. He was going to ask for her opinion of Kara. Waiting he was surprised when he got no response, he called again and then peaked in ready with an apology in case she was asleep. But she wasn’t in there and her sleeping area looked untouched. Moving he turned to Ash and Sol’s tent waking them both up he asked if they had seen her. Both told him no, and got up Tan’s worry catching onto them. They quickly headed to the fire area where she would usually be at this time of the morning. They couldn’t find her, and no body had seen her. Suddenly Tan turned back to the tents and charged towards the one place he hoped he wouldn’t find her, Rahn’s tent. The other two following close behind him.

Rahn woke and got up and dressed. He looked at Tora and smiled as she slept. She was truly beautiful and he loved her. He let her sleep and emerged from his tent. As he stepped out he saw Tan nearly running toward him. He could see the other two brothers rushing after him toward the tent. he looked at Tan seriously and held out his hand to tell him to slow down and stop. "Now Tan. I know why you are here. I will not lie to you. Tora did sleep here. HOWEVER!" He raised his voice before Tan could interupt. "Not for the reason you are afraid of. We did not sleep together. She came to my tent last night afraid. On her way to her own tent one of the other men jumped out at her. He threatened her. He said if she screamed he would have her on the ground with her legs spread before anyone arrived. He also kissed her neck. She kneed him and ran away. She arrived at my tent scared and crying. I did not want to risk the man attacking us on the way to her tent, or even worse, entering her tent while she slept. Please understand, I did what I felt was best for her."

By the time Tan saw Rahn step out of the tent he had worked himself into such a temper that if he found out that Tora was there he swore he would kill him, love or no love. The two other brothers saw this by the way he ran and knew they just might have to step in if Tan did anything stupid. When Tan saw him raise his hand, he only just managed to stop himself from pushing him out of the way and charging into the tent, but he did stop. As confirmed what he had thought, he raised his hand to grab him. Ash moved to Tan’s side and was ready to grab him, but the look on Ash’s race matched Tan’s, the only reason he would stop Tan would be for Tora’s sake.

Even when Rahn raised his voice, Tan was ready to growl at him but Sol rested a hand on his shoulder and mined the word listen. As the three of them listened to what Rahn had to say, there anger found a new target. Tan lowered his hand and looked at Rahn, “Is she okay?” he demanded, though he was no longer angry with Rahn. “I am fine,” Tora said as she stepped out of the tent, she was still wrapped in Rahn’s blanket. Tora had woken when she heard Rahn raise his voice.

As Rahn had explained he was relieved that the brothers seemed to stop being angry at him. They immeditately asked if she was ok. He was about to answer when Tora emerged from the tent and said she was fine. He smiled when he saw her and went to her side and kissed her cheek. He spoke softly to her, but loud enough so the others were still able to hear and know he wasn't trying to keep something secret. "Good morning. I hope you slept well." He kissed her cheek again before letting her go to her brothers and talk to them about what had happened that night.

Tora smiled at Rahn as he came over to her. “Yes I did, thank you for letting me stay here the night, I don’t think I could have slept in my tent by myself after that,” she said slipping her hand out from under the blanket and touched his face, smiling. Then she turned to her brothers and walked over to them, “I am sorry to worry you all, it’s just that I was scared and had started running and Rahn’s tent was closer and I knew he would help.” Tora stood before Tan looking up at him, begging him to understand. Tan looked at her and then stepped forward and pulled her into a hug. “Are you sure you are okay?” he asked holding her tight. Tora nodded against his chest, “Who was it?” Ash asked a glint of anger played through his eyes. Tora tried to pull herself away from Tan to look at them. “I won’t tell you,” she said when she finally managed to pull away, “because you will do something stupid.” The three of them looked at her and she stepped back slightly. “Tora we can’t let him get away with this!” Tan shouted. “I’m not I will tell the elders, if I tell you, the three of you will go straight to him and do something to get yourselves in trouble.” Tora knew them well and she knew what they would do if she told him who it was, she didn’t want them getting trouble because of her. Pulling the blanket tighter around her she shivered as she thought about how match trouble they would get into.

Rahn stood back after Tora spoke softly with him. He watched the siblings talk among themselves and as much as the brothers seemed mad that Tora would not say who it was, she was doing it for their own good. When she spoke of telling an elder he remembered that they needed to go and talk to one anyway.

He stepped up behind Tora and placed a hand on her shoulder. He smiled at the brothers and kissed Tora's cheek. "I will take Tora to talk to an elder now. We will deal with the problem without starting a fight. Don't worry you three, it will be fine."

Tora looked up at Rahn as she felt his hand on her shoulder and gave him a look of thanks for sticking up for her. Ash was about to tell them that they were coming too but Sol stopped him. “We trust you Rahn to make sure that she doesn’t let herself play this down to nothing so that the guy that did that to her gets off lightly. Also thank you for looking after her last night,” Tan nodded agreeing with Sol and slowly Ash followed suit. “We will be at the centre of the village with breakfast, we will wait for you there.”

Rahn smiled at the brothers and nodded. "Don't worry. He will get everything he deserves. I intend to talk to the elder who likes me quite a bit. He will help us out." He then took Tora's hand and went out to search for the elder for two reasons. One was by far more important to him and it was the one the brothers would no know about for quite a while. As they walked his hand left hers and moaved around her body, holding her close to him. Every once in a while he leaned in and kissed her softly.

Tora slipped her hand out of the blanket as Rahn reached and took her hand. She remembered what they had to also see the elder about and she pulled the blanket tight with her other hand worried now about how this would effect the elders desion. Continueing to worry as they walked she looked up at him as he wrapped his arm around her and tried to smile. When she couldn’t do that she leaned her head against him.

After a little walking they found the elder. He smiled at them and saw the worried look on Tora's face. He sat down and invited the two of them to sit as well. Rahn sat with Tora and gave a small smile to the elder. Before the elder could talk, he inturupted. "Sorry, sir, there is one thing we need to talk to you about first. Something happened last night that we need to bring to your attention. Last night Tora was jumped by someone. He threatened to push her to the ground and have her legs spread if she screamed. He then kissed her neck. She kneeded him and ran away and ended up at my tent. I let her sleep in my tent fr the night. Nothing happened between us. We did not even sleep next to eachother. I am bringing this to your attention so that hopefully something can be done about the man."

The elder listened carefully to the story and thought for a few minutes. He then looked at Tora and with a very serious face asked, "Who was it, young one? I will bring this up with the other elders and we will come up with a fitting punishment."

Even when the elder smiled she only managed a small one which lastested a couple of seconds and was gone again. As they sat Tora's hand sort out Rahn's and held on to it. As he mentioned the man kissing her neck she automatically raised her hand to rub at her neck.

She had been looking down the hole hime so when the elder spoke to her she looked up at him. "It was Kelt," she didn't hesitate to tell the elder who it was as she had with her brothers. "Please elder can my brothers not be told of who it was intil you have decided a punishement as I fear they will do something stupid and I don't want them to get in trouble because of me." she pleaded with him.

The elder lookde at the girl and smiled. He reached out and placed his hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, young one. I will not tell your brothers, or anyone other than the other elders, until after the situation has been dealt with."

He then reached out and placed his hand on Rahn's shoulder as well. He looked at the both of them and seemed to be contempating something for a moment. "You know, this new information has an effect on my decision. I know you both want to know what the elders decided. So, with this new information, it makes me want to give you my blessing even more. That way, Rahn can defend your honour without fear of too much discipline. So, if you two are still sure about this, you may have my blessing, and we will still keep it secret from everyone else."

Tora finally was able to smile as the elder told her that she wouldn’t tell her brothers. But the smile faded again when he mentioned about his blessing, she squeezed Rahn had worried. When he said he was giving them his blessing her smile returned. Looking at Rahn she smiled up at him, then she turned back to the elder, “Thank you sir.”

Rahn's smile grew the longer the elder talked. The moment he said he would give them his blessing, he was very happy and smiling. When he finished he turned to Trao and kissed her. He then turned back to the elder. "Of course we are sure, sir. Thank you very much. Thank you even more for keeping it a secret from the others until we are ready." He turned and kissed Tora again.

The elder saw their smiles and could not hold back a smile of his own. He let out a small laugh as Rahn thanked him a lot. He held his hands on their shoulders and bowed his head. He then started to give them his blessing. Part way through he looked at them both and continued while looking at the young couple. When he was finished he leaned in and kissed both of them on the forehead. "Congratulations you two. Make us proud with your love of eachother. Show us we made a wise decision."

Tora nodded agreeing with Rahn as he said that they were sure. Smiling the whole way through the elders blessing she kept glanceing out the corner of her eye at Rahn. This was it they would be each others in the eyes of the elders and eventually she would tell her brothers. This would be a less harder secret to keep from them than there relationship had been. When it was finished Tora smiled at the Elder, "Thank again I hope we will not disappiont you." Then she turned to Rahn and kissed him.

Rahn smiled and nodded in agreement with Tora. He turned just as she kissed him. He returned her kiss with passion and love. The elder let them go and Rahn pulled his love into his lap and kissed her deeper. After a while he finally pulled back and smiled at her. "I love you so much Tora. Let's go get some breakfast now and tell your brothers that the guy who jumped you will be disciplined."

Tora smiled as he pulled her into his lap and returned his kiss, wrapping her arms around his neck. When he pulled back all she could do was smile at him. “I love you too Rahn. Food sounds good but I hope the three of them have calmed down.” Tora thought of something else, “I think we need to return your blanket to your tent and I need to wash before breakfast.”

Rahn smiled at his love. He nodded and kissed her. After this kiss broke he stood up and then lifted Tora. He started carrying her back to his tent so they could drop off his blanket. As he walked with her in his arms he smiled at her. "I am so happy now. I think it will be hard to keep a smile off my face, but luckily our love is no secret. So I hope you enjoy my smile, because you will be seeing a lot of it." He grinned for a moment and kissed her while still walking.

Tora squirmed at first when he lifted her and protested, “I can walk.” But she soon stopped squirming and smiled up at him. She was happy that he was happy. “I love it when you smile. Just seeing you smile makes me smile,” as she said this she raised her hand and ran one of her fingers slowly along his lips, tracing his smile.

Rahn looked at her happily as she traced his smile with her fingers. He then quickly opened his mouth and started nibbling on her finger, sucking on it lightly. He released it after a little bit and grinned at her. He kissed her softly and arrived at his tent. Before he put her down he spun her around a few times and kissed her happily.

Tora giggled as he started to nibble on her finger. As he sucked at her finger she smiled at him and her smile grew bigger when he grinned at her after releasing her finger. Resting her hand on his cheek as he kissed her she looked into his eyes, such lovely eyes he has. Then she shrieked with laughter as he spun her around and around. Giggling when he finally put her down, she pulled the blanket from around herself and folded it up for him.

He smiled and laughed a little as she giggled. He took his blanket and simply tossed it into his tent he then kissed her softly and wrapped an arm aroung her, walking again, this time toward the water. "Let's go get washed up now. Then we will go get some food. I'm quite hungry." He smiled again and kissed her cheek a few times.

She watched as he threw the blanket into the tent after she had folded it, with a look of shock. But the look vanished as he kissed her and wrapped his arm around her. “Okay,” she said wrapping one of her own arms around him. It didn’t take them long to get to the water and Tora quickly washed herself. In particular she scrubbed hard at her neck, leaving it red.

Rahn washed fairly quickly and watched as Tora rubbed hard at her neck. He felt bad that the guy had done that to her. He wished there had been a way he could have been there to stop him. He pushed the bad thoughts away and smiled at Tora. Trying to help her feel better he leaned in and started kissing her neck. He hoped she would forget about the other man's kisses there and start thinking just about his.
