Seth Collins moved himself along side the abandoned freighter ship and clamped on with his magnetic boots. The ship was a wreck of twisted metal, but there was still a life sign inside. His thin, pale face had a determined frown through the face plate of his helmet. His curly blond hair had come loose from its ponytail and kept threatening to fall in front of his face. He cursed at it, knowing there was little he could do about it.
He slipped through a man sized gap in the metal siding. "I'm heading into the ship, Captain."
"Just be careful Seth", said a disembodied voice.
"Always am Cap. Gotta protect my lily white ass." The voice chuckled.
Seth moved carefully thrown what had been the galley. A few cooking implements were still floating around in the zero-g environment. He ducked a frying pan and crossed to a hall opening. His magnetic boots let him move easily, but the wreck was still disorienting.
As he continued through the dark ship, the lights on his helmet showed the way. Dead bodies floated past him, bloated and disfigured. Finally, in a ripped apart cargo hold, he found a space suit strapped to a bulk head. He hurried over to it as best he could and peered through the face plate, but condensation had fogged over the glass. He knocked on it, but the person inside did not respond. "I have one survivor Captain. Tell Doc Saunders to be ready."
(This thread will be in the Firefly universe, but not on that ship. Your character needs a secret to cause some trouble, but should not be a River clone. You need to be willing to interact with the whole crew. Someone who would be willing to write for NPCs would be a plus, but not essential. Two or three paragraph posts are required. This post was written on a cell phone. Sometimes it is a day or two until I have computer access and can spell check my posts. You need to accept this as well. PM me if you are interested.)
