I've seen a 30 inch walleye and a 36 inch Northern pulled from the frozen waters.

Ok, so it wasn't me, fuck off. I saw it though, and I have pictures.

Fine figure of a man? Yes?

I did some work part-time for the Fisheries here. Plus, they changed the recreational/commercial fishing licences and when it has to be renewed and what constitutes recreational this past year. I am pretty up on it. I have to keep my recreational license to fish up to date for certain miles off the coast, as well as my boat license; poundage (oh, yeah, you are metric) of the fish. There was also a limit on crabbing. Even recreational. The Fishery here is like there; strictly enforced.

You need to PM him that image. Perfect AV.

Fisheries rules are tough.....the biologists have to set limits for sustainability........and then, there are commercial and rec interests.....the guy who sets the fish regs has few friends....

It's Not Really The Gaffing Od Unsuspecting Lake Life...It's More About The Sound Of The Water Lapping On The Shore Or The Sides Of The Boat...

Fishing Is Silent..I Like Silence.

No, different years. Same lake though. Lake of the Woods. MN/Canadian border. I think you know what PE stands for.

Not wrong, but it does not ruin it. That's the way it is. Muskies are scarce (sp), and hard to find. More of a challenge.

as is fishing with no hook......

Is that fishing, or beating them with a wet piece of string? Is that effective? Do they suddenly flop out on the shore and say, "I give up, EAT ME!"

In other news: I'm suddenly in the mood for salmon. I think I'll have that tonight.

Sometimes it's silent and peaceful. Othertimes, not.
