Fishing

We fish all year round and we had a fun day out last Saturday fishng off the boat.
I had a mate and his two little girls along and they had a blast.

It wasn't the first time they''d been fishing and they both really enjoy it, and want to do it. They're not yet prepared to bait a hook, one's a little young anyway, she'd probably end up baiting a finger but I can see it happening soon.

I'm off fishing again this weekend, and hopefully a day next week.
It's more for fun and the peacefulness of it as I prefer to catch and release.

It's so much fun to take kids fishing. Especially girls. :)
My 3 daughters were little fishing divas. They had to do everything. Including baiting their hooks, which is something I still don't do.

Your post reminded me of a commercial I saw last night. The link is in my signature.

Have fun fishing and 'catch' a little peace for me. :)

Deep Creek is on the Kenai.

Sounds like you need to come up and look around.

"Eat salmon, the other Pink meat."

Salmons good. I just got half of a a thirty three pounder, friend caught this am.

However the other other pink meat is less filling besides, it takes less time to bbq. :)

We spent so much time fishing as kids in an area that's pretty much been since a boat ramp went into it about 15 years ago now.

What used to be a very peaceful part of the upper Sydney Harbour has been turned into a major launching ramp for boats heading downstream. You can still fish there at night or during the week but come the weekend, forget it.

My grandfather retired early so he could just fish all day, that's all he wanted to do, stand on the beach and fish, so that's what he did before the heart attack.

You're firing up the grille?

We're bringing beer and a side dish.

What time?

Sorry to read about your grandfather, but I'm happy to read that he got to do what he wanted.

She looks sexy til she gets home and then she's covered in Calamine lotion cause of her 1593 skeeter bites. :D

Don't you people use an insect repellent lotion / spray / roll on?

I'd not survive without our Aeroguard.
Mozzies just gorge on me all year round.
There could one left in the whole state and I'd put money on the fucker finding me and leaving a few bites behind

Thanks, I never got to know him, he went when I was just a toddler.
When my mother was alive she'd bitch about him and his obsession with fishing, or his fishing gear or somthing else about his fishing.

Which reminds me, I need to go get a new fishing license today.

We use repellent. If the mosquitos and no-see-ums are really bad, I'll wear a bug net.

Eat lots of garlic. It's a natural repellent. :)

Have any extra room on the boat? I'll bring beer & sandwiches.
