Fishing

I leave in an hour or so to spend the morning on the boat fishing, I'm excited, I always am. :)

Fucker!

I'm just jealous.

Hahahaha.

There's just something so crisp, fresh and clean about 4:30am and knowing you've got a whole day on the water fishing ahead of you, even for us city folks.

Making food and filling thermos's, packing the esky full of ice, it's such a wonderful ritual.

Well, no one on the boat placed in the derby or caught the $100,000 tagged fish. Over two days, we turned in 18 coho and 1 king salmon as scholarship fish.

I only got scared once, going around Pt. Retreat where 4 different bodies of water come together. It's like all of sudden you're in 4 ft seas then you go around the corner and the water is smooth as glass.

It was a fun weekend.

Nice photos!

Regarding the troll fishing boat's name, I have been on the top of Mt. Dundas, such as it's called. It's not all that high or difficult of a climb, just a pain to get to the base.

Delicacy, those pics are very nice! It would be awesome to fish there.
Around here, not such big bodies of water. Our boats are much smaller, but much faster, too. My bass boat will hit about 55 mph. This time of year, with temps so high, the only way to cool off is get wet, then go really fast!

Thanks. I like the eagle pictures best.

I took lots of pictures of the Dundas. It was out there for a long time and I was bored.

Where is the base of Mt. Dundas?

It's right near the US Airbase at Thule, Greenland. Not much of a mountain.

A nice bass.

I've never caught a bass. They don't live up here.
