The Ministry of Natural Resources claims they ahve no clue what's causing it. They've been out testing the water and say it's fine. Strange that it's only affecting the carp.

I swam in it, as did my kids. If I vanish, you know I got the carp disease.

apparently the fish tested positive for some bacteria, but not in a big enough quantity to kill them. and since carp are usually pretty hardy fish it would be strange that it's not killing anything else
